Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Benutzer ohne
besondere Fachkenntnisse. Bitte lesen Sie die
Anleitung vor dem Betrieb gründlich durch und
heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Sicherheitshinweise

Die Geräte (Signal-Quad-Splitter und Netzgerät)
entsprechen allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU
und tragen deshalb das

WARNUNG Das Netzgerät wird mit lebens-

gefährlicher Netzspannung ver­sorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie­mals selbst Eingriffe daran vor.
Durch unsachgemäßes Vorgehen
besteht die Gefahr eines elektri­schen Schlages.

Die Geräte sind nur zur Verwendung im In-

•

nenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor
Tropf- und Spritzwasser sowie vor hoher Luft­feuchtigkeit. Der zulässige Einsatztemperatur­bereich beträgt 0 – 40 °C.

Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Ge-

•

fäße, z. B. Trinkgläser, auf die Geräte.
Die im Signal-Quad-Splitter entstehende

•

Wärme muss durch die Lüftungsöffnungen
abgegeben werden; decken Sie sie nicht ab.

Ziehen Sie das Netzgerät sofort aus der Steck-

•

dose:

1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Netzgerät oder
am Signal-Quad-Splitter vorhanden sind,

2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der
Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,

3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

Lassen Sie die Geräte in jedem Fall in einer
Fachwerkstatt reparieren.

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein tro-

•

ckenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemi­kalien oder Wasser.

Werden die Geräte zweckentfremdet, nicht

•

richtig angeschlossen, falsch bedient oder
nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Garan­tie für die Geräte und keine Haftung für dar­aus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden
übernommen werden.

Sollen die Geräte endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, überge­ben Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Ent­sorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbe­trieb.

2 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Mit diesem Quad-Splitter lassen sich gleichzeitig
die Signale von vier verschiedene Videoquellen
(z. B. Überwachungskamera, DVD-Spieler, Lap­top, Sat-Tuner etc.) mit einer Bildauflösung bis
„4K Ultra HD“ auf einem Anzeigegerät (Moni­tor, Fernsehgerät, Projektor) darstellen.

3 Inbetriebnahme

Coaxial OUTPUT (7) zu einer Audioanlage
oder Aktivbox geleitet werden, wenn das An­zeigegerät keinen Lautsprecher hat oder eine
bessere Tonqualität gewünscht wird.

3) Das beiliegende Netzgerät an die Buchse
DC5V (8) anschließen und in eine Steckdose
(230 V/ 50 Hz) stecken.

Hinweis: Die Buchsen „Service“ und „RS232“ sind
bei diesem Gerät ohne Funktion.

1) Die Fernbedienung wird mit einer 3-V­Knopf zelle vom Typ CR 2025 betrieben. Ist bei
Auslieferung bereits eine Batterie eingesetzt,
die Isolierfolie (zum Schutz vor Entladung) aus
dem Batteriehalter herausziehen. Die Fernbe­dienung ist dann funktionsbereit. Beim Drü­cken einer Taste die Fernbedienung immer auf
den IR-Sensor (4) richten. Dabei muss Sicht­verbindung zwischen Sensor und Fernbedie­nung bestehen.

4 Bedienung

Den Quad-Splitter mit der Taste ON / OFF (1) ein­schalten. Die LED Power (2) und die LEDs IN1– 4
(3) der angewählten Eingänge leuchten. Die
Bedienmöglichkeiten sind unten in der Tabelle
aufgeführt.

Nach dem Betrieb den Quad-Splitter aus­schalten. Wird er längere Zeit nicht gebraucht,
das Netzgerät aus der Steckdose ziehen. Es ver­braucht auch bei ausgeschaltetem Quad-Splitter
stets einen geringen Strom.

connaissances techniques particulières. Veuil­lez lire la présente notice avec attention avant
le fonctionnement et conservez-la pour pouvoir
vous y reporter ultérieurement.

1 Conseils de sécurité

Les appareils (répartiteur et bloc secteur) répondent
à toutes les directives nécessaires de l’Union euro­péenne et portent donc le symbole

AVERTISSEMENT Le bloc secteur est alimenté

Les appareils ne sont conçus que pour une

utilisation en intérieur. Protégez-les de tout
type de projections d’eau, des éclaboussures
et d’une humidité élevée de l’air. La plage de
température de fonctionnement autorisée est
de 0 – 40 °C.

En aucun cas, vous ne devez poser d’objet

•

contenant du liquide ou un verre sur l’appareil.
La chaleur dégagée dans le répartiteur doit

•

être évacuée par les ouïes de ventilation ; elles
ne doivent en aucun cas être obturées.

Débranchez le bloc secteur immédiatement

•

lorsque :

1. des dommages visibles apparaissent sur le
bloc secteur ou le répartiteur,

2. après une chute ou un cas similaire, vous
avez un doute sur l’état de l’appareil,

3. des dysfonctionnements apparaissent.

Dans tous les cas, les dommages doivent être
réparés par un technicien spécialisé.

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un

•

chiffon sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou d’eau.

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

•

dommages matériels ou corporels résultants
si les appareils sont utilisés dans un but autre
que celui pour lequel ils ont été conçus, s’ils ne
sont pas correctement branchés ou utilisés ou
s’ils ne sont pas réparés par un technicien habi­lité ; en outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

Lorsque les appareils sont définitive­ment retirés du service, vous devez les
déposer dans une usine de recyclage
adaptée pour contribuer à leur élimina­tion non polluante.

2 Possibilités d’utilisation

Avec ce répartiteur quad, il est possible d’afficher
simultanément les signaux de quatre sources
vidéo différentes (par exemple caméra de surveil­lance, lecteur DVD, ordinateur portable, tuner
Sat…) avec une résolution d’image jusqu’à «4K
Ultra HD» sur un appareil de visualisation (moni­teur, téléviseur, projecteur).

3 Fonctionnement

1) La télécommande fonctionne avec une pile
bouton 3 V de type CR 2025. Si la télécom­mande est livrée avec une batterie installée,
retirez la feuille d’isolation (pour protéger la
batterie de toute décharge) du support de
batterie. La télécommande est alors prête à
fonctionner. Lorsque vous appuyez sur une
touche de la télécommande, orientez tou­jours la télécommande vers le capteur IR (4). Il
ne doit pas y avoir d’obstacle entre le capteur
et la télécommande.

Pour insérer / remplacer la batterie, retirez
sur la face arrière le support de batterie, insé­rez la batterie, pôle plus vers le haut. En cas
de non utilisation prolongée, retirez la batte­rie de la télécommande, elle pourrait couler et
endommager la télécommande.

Les batteries ne doivent pas être je­tées dans la poubelle domestique.
Vous devez les déposer dans un
container spécifique ou les ramener
chez votre revendeur.

2) Reliez les sources de signal aux prises HDMI
IN (5) et l’appareil de visualisation à la prise

3) Reliez le bloc secteur livré à la prise DC 5 V (8)
et à une prise secteur 230 V/ 50 Hz.

Remarque : les prises «Service» et «RS232» n’ont
pas de fonction sur cet appareil.

4 Utilisation

Allumez le répartiteur quad avec la touche ON /
OFF(1). La LED Power (2) et les LEDs IN1 – 4(3)
des entrées sélectionnées brillent. Le tableau
ci-dessous présente les possibilités d’utilisation.

Après le fonctionnement, éteignez le réparti-

teur. En cas de non utilisation prolongée du ré­partiteur, débranchez le bloc secteur. Même si le
répartiteur est éteint, le bloc secteur a une faible
consommation.

These instructions are intended for users without
any specific technical knowledge. Please read
the instructions carefully prior to operation and
keep them for later reference.

1 Safety Notes

The units (quad splitter and power supply unit)
correspond to all relevant directives of the EU
and are therefore marked with

WARNING The power supply unit uses dan-

gerous mains voltage. Leave ser­vicing to skilled personnel only.
Inexpert handling may result in
electric shock.

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Pro-

•

tect them against dripping water, splash water
and high air humidity. The admissible ambient
temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.

Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on

•

the unit, e. g. a drinking glass.
The heat produced inside the quad splitter

•

must be dissipated via the air vents; therefore,
never cover the air vents.

Immediately disconnect the power supply unit

•

from the socket

1. if the power supply unit or the quad splitter
is visibly damaged,

2. if a defect might have occurred after the
unit was dropped or suffered a similar ac­cident,

3. if malfunctions occur.

In any case, the units must be repaired by
skilled personnel.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never

•

use water or chemicals.
No guarantee claims for the units and no li-

•

ability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the units
are used for other purposes than originally
intended, if they are not correctly connected
or operated, or if they are not repaired in an
expert way.

If the units are to be put out of oper­ation definitively, take them to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which is
not harmful to the environment.

2 Applications

This quad splitter allows you to simultaneously
display the signals of four different video sources
(e. g. surveillance camera, DVD player, laptop,
satellite tuner etc.) with a resolution up to “4K
Ultras HD” on a display unit (monitor, TV set,
projector).

3 Before Operation

1) The remote control is operated by means of
a 3 V button cell (type CR 2025). If the remote
control is supplied with a battery inserted,
remove the protective film (to protect the
battery from being discharged) from the bat­tery holder. The remote control is now ready
for operation. When you press a button on
the remote control, always point the remote
control at the IR sensor (4). There must be no
obstacles between the sensor and the remote
control.

To insert or replace the battery, pull out the
battery holder on the rear. Insert the battery
with the positive pole facing up. If the remote
control is not in use for a longer period of
time, always remove the battery to prevent
damage due to battery leakage.

Never put batteries in the household
waste. To protect the environment,
always take them to a special waste
disposal, e. g. collection container at
your retailer.

2) Connect the signal sources to the inputs
HDMI IN (5). Connect the display unit to the
output HDMI OUTPUT (6). If the display unit
is not equipped with a speaker or if a higher

3) Connect the power supply unit provided
to the jack DC 5V (8) and to a mains socket
(230 V/ 50 Hz).

Note: The connectors “Service” and “RS232” are
without function on this unit.

4 Operation

Use the button ON/OFF (1) to switch on the quad
splitter. The LED Power (2) and the LEDs IN 1 – 4
(3) of the inputs selected will light up. The con­trol options can be found in the table below.

After operation, switch off the quad splitter. If

the quad splitter is not in use for a longer period
of time, disconnect the power supply unit from
the socket. It will consume some power even
when the quad splitter has been switched off.
