1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert. Er ist mit einem Übertrager für den Betrieb an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet. Die Anpassung der
Anschlussleistung erfolgt über einen Drehschalter. Die
Ballwurfsicherheit nach DIN 18 032, Teil3 wurde bestätigt.
Der ESP-72 / WS ist als 2-Wege-System zusätzlich mit
einem Hochtöner ausgestattet.
Ein Relais überbrückt bei Anlegen einer 24-V-Steuerspannung den Leistungswahlschalter zur Erreichung der
maximalen Leistung, sodass z. B. bei einem Notfall eine
Durchsage über den Lautsprecher in voller Lautstärke erfolgen kann.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien
der EU und trägt deshalb das

gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften.
3 Montage
1) Die vier seitlichen Schrauben herausdrehen und die
Rückwand abnehmen.
2) Die Anschlusskabel durch die Öffnung der Rückwand
führen und die Rückwand mit geeignetem Montagematerial (z. B. Schrauben, Dübel) an der Wand oder
Decke befestigen.
3) Den elektrischen Anschluss herstellen (

4 Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers durch
die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den Verstärker
beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleistung
nicht überschreiten.
1) Zuerst den Verstärker, an den der Lautsprecher angeschlossen werden soll, ausschalten!
2) Die Anschlussklemmen „100 V LINE“ des Lautsprechers
mit dem 100-V-Ausgang des Verstärkers verbinden.
Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern auf gleiche Polung achten und den Verstärker nicht überlasten. Dabei die maximale Last bei aktiviertem Relais
beachten!
3) Bei Bedarf die Steuerleitung für das Pflichtempfangs-
relais an die Klemmen „24 VDC“ anschließen.
4) Den Drehschalter auf die gewünschte Anschlussleis-
tung einstellen. Wenn gewünscht, gegen nachträgliches Verstellen den Knopf gegen die mitgelieferte
Schutzkappe austauschen.
Spannung bis 100 V an der Lautsprecherleitung an. Die Installation darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
PA Wall Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers with
specific knowledge of sound reproduction using
100 V technology. Please read the instructions carefully prior to installation and keep them for later
reference.
1 Applications
This speaker has especially been designed for applications
in PA systems. It is equipped with a transformer for operation in 100 V systems. The connected load is adjusted via
a rotary switch. Ball impact resistance in accordance with
DIN18 032, part 3 has been confirmed.
As a 2-way system, the ESP-72 / WS is additionally
equipped with a tweeter.
When a 24 V control voltage is applied, a relay will
bridge the power selector switch to obtain maximum
power so that, e. g. in case of an emergency, an announcement can be made at maximum volume via the speaker.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une utilisation dans des installations de Public Adress. Il est équipé
d’un transformateur pour un fonctionnement dans des
installations 100 V. L’adaptation de la puissance connectée
s’effectue via un sélecteur rotatif. La résistance aux jets de
ballons, selon la norme DIN18 032, partie 3, est validée.
Comme système 2 voies, le ESP-72 / WS est en plus doté
d’un haut-parleur d’aigu.
En cas de présence d’une tension de commande de
24 V, un relais bridge le sélecteur de puissance pour atteindre la puissance maximale. Ainsi, en cas d’urgence par
exemple, une annonce peut être effectuée à plein volume
via le haut-parleur.
2 Conseils de sécurité
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives nécessaires

3 Mounting
1) Unscrew the four lateral screws and remove the rear
panel.
2) Guide the connection cables through the opening of
the rear panel and fix the rear panel with suitable
mounting material (e. g. screws, dowels) on the wall
or ceiling.

3 Montage
1) Dévissez les quatre vis latérales et retirez la paroi arrière.
2) Faites passer les câbles de branchement via l’ouverture
de la paroi arrière et fixez la paroi arrière au mur ou
au plafond à l’aide des accessoires de montage adap tés
(par exemple vis, chevilles).

4 Electrical Connection
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of con-

2) Connect the terminals “100 V LINE” of the speaker

the same polarity and do not overload the amplifier.

3) If required, connect the control line for the emergency

If desired, replace the button by the supplied protective
cap to protect against subsequent readjustment.

4 Branchement électrique
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une tension
Faites attention à la charge de l‘amplificateur PA par les
haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut endommager l‘amplificateur ! La somme des puissances de l‘ensemble des
haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de
l‘amplificateur.
1) Eteignez tout d’abord l’amplificateur auquel le hautparleur doit être relié !
2) Reliez les bornes «100 V LINE» du haut-parleur à la sor-
tie 100 V de l’amplificateur. Si plusieurs haut-parleurs
sont branchés, veillez à ce qu’ils aient la même polarité
et que l’amplificateur ne soit pas en surcharge. Respectez la puissance maximale lorsque le relais est activé !
3) Si besoin, reliez le câble de commande pour le relais
d’annonce forcé aux bornes «24 VDC».
4) Réglez le sélecteur rotatif sur la puissance de bran-
chement souhaitée. Remplacez, si vous le souhaitez,
le bouton par le cache de protection livré pour éviter
tout nouveau réglage ultérieur.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che
possiedono delle conoscenze specifiche della tecnica
di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di leggerle
attentamente prima dell‘installazione e di conser-

1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo altoparlante è stato realizzato in modo particolare per l’impiego in impianti PA. È equipaggiato con
un trasformatore per impianti con uscita audio a 100 V.
L’adattamento alla potenza di connessione avviene per
mezzo di un selettore. È stata confermata la protezione
contro il lancio di palloni secondo DIN18 032, parte 3.
Il modello ESP-72 / WS, in quanto sistema a 2 vie, è equi-
paggiato in più con un tweeter.
Se è presente una tensione di comando di 24 V, un
relé bypassa il selettore della potenza per raggiungere la
massima potenza; in questo modo è possibile, in caso di
emergenza, fare un avviso attraverso l’altoparlante e al
massimo volume.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
L’altoparlante è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
L’altoparlante è previsto solo per l’uso all’interno di
•
locali. Proteggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi
d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto; non
•
impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati o di
•
sovraccarico dell’altoparlante, non si assume nessuna
responsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a
persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per
l’altoparlante.
Se l’altoparlante deve essere messo definitivamente fuori servizio, smaltire l’altoparlante in
conformità con le normative locali.
3 Montaggio
1) Svitare le quattro viti laterali e togliere il pannello
posteriore.
2) Fare passare i cavi di collegamento attraverso l’apertura
del pannello posteriore e fissare il pannello posteriore
alla parete servendosi di materiale di montaggio adeguato (p. es. viti, tasselli).
3) Eseguire il collegamento elettrico (

4 Collegamento elettrico
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, nel cavo dell’al-

l’uscita 100 V dell’amplificatore. Nel caso di collegamento di più altoparlanti fare attenzione all’identica
polarità di tutti gli altoparlanti e di non sovraccaricare
l’amplificatore. Tener presente il carico massimo con il
relé attivato!
3) Se necessario, collegare la linea di comando per il relé a
ricezione forzata con i morsetti “24 VDC”.
4) Impostare con il selettore la potenza di collegamento
desiderata. Per escludere uno spostamento successivo
del selettore si può, se desiderato, sostituire la manopola con il cappuccio di protezione in dotazione.

1 Aplicaciones
Este altavoz ha sido especialmente diseñado para aplicaciones en sistemas de megafonía. Está equipado con un

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalatorów
posiadających wiedzę w zakresie systemów PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed rozpoczęciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać się z instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
Głośnik ten przeznaczony jest do zastosowania w systemach PA, został wyposażony w transformator do pracy w
technice 100 V. Wymaganą moc głośnika można wybrać
za pomocą przełącznika obrotowego. Dodatkową zaletą
tego modelu głośnika jest odporność na uderzenia piłką,
zgodnie z normą DIN 18 032, część 3.
Model ESP-72 / WS jest zestawem dwudrożnym, został
wyposażony w dodatkowy głośnik wysokotonowy.
Przy napięciu sterującym 24 V przekaźnik zmostkuje
przełącznik obrotowy dla osiągnięcia maksymalnej mocy,
aby np. w razie potrzeby można było nadać komunikat
przez głośnik przy najwyższym poziomie głośności.
2 Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania

3 Montaje
1) Desatornille los cuatro tornillos laterales y saque el
panel trasero.
2) Guíe los cables de conexión a través de la abertura del
panel trasero y fije el panel trasero con material de
montaje indicado (p. ej. tornillos, clavijas) en la pared
o el techo.

3 Montaż
1) Należy odkręcić cztery boczne śruby i zdjąć tylny panel.

4 Podłączenie
UWAGA Podczas pracy urządzenia na przyłączu linii
Należy zwrócić uwagę na odpowiedni dobór mocy głośników do mocy wzmacniacza. Przeciążenie może spowodować uszkodzenie wzmacniacza PA! Sumaryczna
moc wszystkich podłączonych głośników nie może przekraczać mocy wzmacniacza.
1) Przed przystąpieniem do podłączania, należy bezwzględnie wyłączyć wzmacniacz PA!
2) Należy podłączyć zaciski głośnikowe “100 V LINE” do
wyjścia wzmacniacza 100 V. Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników należy się upewnić, czy wszystkie głośniki mają
odpowiednią biegunowość i czy wzmacniacz nie został
przeciążony.
3) Można podłączyć przewód sterujący awaryjnego prze-
kaźnika priorytetowego do zacisków “24 VDC”.
4) Należy ustawić przełącznik obrotowy na odpowied-
nią moc. Można również zamiast przełącznika założyć
nasadkę ochronną (w zestawie) jako zabezpieczenie
przed zmianą ustawień.
