Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure,
die ausreichende Fachkenntnisse in der 100-V-
DeutschEnglish
Beschallungstechnik besitzen. Bitte lesen Sie die
Anleitung vor der Installation gründlich durch
und heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Lautsprecherbox zur Wandmontage ist speziell
für den Einsatz in Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert. Sie
ist mit einem Übertrager für den Betrieb in 100-VAnlagen ausgestattet, kann aber auch direkt an einen
niederohmigen Verstärkerausgang angeschlossen
werden. Die Anpassung der Anschlussleistung erfolgt
über einen Drehschalter. Als 2-Wege-System ist die
Lautsprecherbox für Sprach- und Musikwiedergabe
geeignet. Durch das wetterfestes Gehäuse (IP 65) ist
sie auch für Außeninstallationen verwendbar.
2 Wichtige Hinweise
Die Lautsprecherbox entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
Schützen Sie die Lautsprecherbox vor großer Hitze
•
und Kälte (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich
−20 °C bis +50 °C).
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
•
oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall
aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien.
•
fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder
überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine
Garantie für die Lautsprecherbox übernommen
werden.
Soll die Lautsprecherbox endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Montage
Den Lautsprecher mit dem Montagebügel an geeigneter Stelle der Wand bzw. Decke festschrauben. Zum
Ausrichten die Feststellschrauben des Bügels lösen,
den Lautsprecher entsprechend schwenken und die
Schrauben wieder festziehen.
4 Installation
WARNUNG Beim Betrieb in 100-V-Anlagen liegt
berührungsgefährliche Spannung bis
100 V an der Lautsprecherleitung an.
Die Installation darf nur durch Fachper-
sonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den
Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistungen
aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.
1) Vor der Installation der Lautsprecherbox den
ELA-Verstärker ausschalten, damit die Lautsprecherleitung spannungsfrei ist!
2) Mit einem Schraubendreher am Drehschalter (a) die
gewünschte Nennleistung für den 100-V-Betrieb
einstellen bzw. die Position „8 Ω“ wählen, wenn
der Lautsprecher direkt an einem niederohmigen
Verstärkerausgang betrieben werden soll. (Den
Schalter auf Linksanschlag drehen und dann gemäß
der Beschriftung die entsprechende Anzahl Rastungen auf die gewünschte Position zurückdrehen.)
VORSICHT!
In der Position „8 Ω“ den Lautsprecher
auf keinen Fall in einer 100-V-Anlage betreiben.
Der Lautsprecher und eventuell auch der Verstärker
werden beschädigt.
3) Die Schutzkappe der Anschlussklemmen (b) abnehmen und das Kabel durch das Loch in der Schutzkappe führen. Das Kabel an die Klemmen anschließen und die Schutzkappe wieder aufsetzen. Beim
Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt werden
und dass der ELA-Verstärker nicht überlastet wird.
4) Die Lautsprecherbox optimal auf den zu beschallenden Bereich ausrichten.

These instructions are intended for installers
with sufficient knowledge in 100 V technology
for PA applications. Please read the instructions
carefully prior to installation and keep them for
later reference.
1 Applications
This speaker system for wall mounting is especially
designed for applications in PA systems. It is equipped
with a transformer for operation in 100 V systems, but
it can also directly be connected to a low-impedance
amplifier output. The connected load is matched via a
rotary switch. As a 2-way system, the speaker system
can be used for speech and music reproduction. Due
to its weatherproof cabinet (IP 65), it is also suitable
for outdoor use.
2 Important Notes
The speaker system corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU and is therefore marked with

damp; never use chemicals or aggressive detergents.

is used for other purposes than originally intended,
if it is not expertly mounted or correctly connected,
or if it is overloaded.
If the speaker system is to be put out of
operation definitively, take it to a local
recycling plant or a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
3 Mounting
Use the mounting bracket to screw the speaker to
a suitable place on the wall or ceiling. To adjust the
speaker, release the locking screws of the bracket, turn
the speaker accordingly, then retighten the screws.
4 Installation
WARNING During operation in 100 V systems,

the amplifier power.

PA amplifier completely so that the speaker cable
will not carry any voltage!
2) Use a screwdriver to adjust the desired rated
power for 100 V operation at the rotary switch (a)
or select the position “8 Ω” for directly operating
the speaker at a low-impedance amplifier output.
(Set the switch to the left stop, then turn it back
for the corresponding number of lock-in positions
according to the marking.)
CAUTION!
when the position “8 Ω” has been selected. The
speaker and possibly the amplifier will be damaged.
3) Remove the protecting cap from the terminals (b)
and guide the cable through the hole in the protecting cap. Connect the cable to the terminals
and replace the protecting cap. When connecting
multiple speakers, make sure that all speakers have
the same polarity and that the PA amplifier will not
be overloaded.
4) Align the speaker system in an optimum way to
the speaker zone.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Cette enceinte pour montage mural est spécialement
conçue pour une utilisation dans des installations de
sonorisation. Elle est dotée d’un transformateur pour
fonctionnement dans des installations 100 V, elle peut
également être directement reliée à une sortie amplificateur basse impédance. L’adaptation de la puissance
de branchement s’effectue via un sélecteur rotatif. En
tant que système 2 voies, l’enceinte est adaptée pour
une restitution de discours et musique. Grâce à son
boîtier étanche (IP 65), elle est également utilisable
pour des installations en extérieur.
2 Conseils importants
L‘enceinte répond à toutes les directives nécessaires
de l’Union européenne et porte donc le symbole

mages matériels ou corporels résultants si l‘enceinte
est utilisée dans un but autre que celui pour lequel
elle a été conçue, si elle n’est pas correctement installée ou branchée, ou s’il y a surcharge; en outre,
la garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque l‘enceinte est définitivement retireé
du service, vous devez la déposer dans une
usine de recyclage adaptée pour contribuer
à son élimination non polluante.
3 Montage
Vissez l’enceinte avec l’étrier de montage à l’endroit
adapté sur le mur ou au plafond. Pour l’orienter, desserrez les vis de verrouillage de l’étrier, orientez en
conséquence l’enceinte puis revissez les vis.
4 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement dans

1) Avant d’installer l’enceinte, éteignez l’amplifica-
teur Public Adress pour que le câble haut-parleur
ne soit pas porteur de tension !
2) Avec un tournevis, réglez sur le sélecteur rotatif (a)
la puissance nominale voulue pour un fonctionnement 100 V, ou choisissez la position «8 Ω» si
l’enceinte doit fonctionner directement à une sortie
amplificateur basse impédance. (Tournez le sélecteur sur la butée de gauche ; ensuite, en fonction du
repérage, tournez dans l’autre sens sur le nombre
correspondant de positions d’enclenchement).
ATTENTION !
En position «8 Ω», ne faites pas
fonctionner l’enceinte dans une installation 100 V.
L’enceinte et éventuellement l’amplificateur pourraient être endommagés.
3) Retirez le cache de protection des bornes de branchement (b) et faites passer le câble via le trou dans
le cache de protection. Reliez le câble aux bornes et
replacez le cache. Si plusieurs enceintes sont branchées, veillez à ce que toutes les enceintes aient
la même polarité et à ce que l’amplificateur Public
Adress ne soit pas en surcharge.
4) Pour terminer, orientez le haut-parleur de manière
optimale vers la zone à sonoriser.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che
possiedono delle conoscenze specifiche sufficienti
della tecnica di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo
di leggerle attentamente prima dell‘installazione e di
conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questa cassa acustica per montaggio alla parete è
stata realizzata specialmente per l’impiego in impianti
di sonorizzazione. È equipaggiata con un trasformatore per il funzionamento in impianti con uscita audio
100 V, ma può essere collegata anche con un’uscita a
bassa impedenza dell’amplificatore. L’adattamento al
tipo di collegamento avviene con un selettore. Come
sistema a 2 vie, la cassa acustica è adatto per la riproduzione sia di musica che di lingua parlata. Grazie al
contenitore resistente alle intemperie (IP 65) è utilizzabile anche per installazioni all’aperto.
2 Avvertenze importanti
La cassa acustica è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla

definitivamente, consegnarla per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per il
riciclaggio.
3 Montaggio
Avvitare la cassa in un punto adatto della parete o
del soffitto servendosi della staffa di montaggio. Per
orientare l’altoparlante allentare le viti di bloccaggio
della staffe, girare l’altoparlante secondo necessità e
stringere di nuovo le viti.
4 Installazione

(a) la potenza nominale desiderata per il funzionamento a 100 V; altrimenti scegliere la posizione
“8 Ω” se l’altoparlante deve funzionare direttamente con l’uscita a bassa impedenza di un amplificatore. (Girare il selettore a sinistra fino all’arresto
e quindi riportarlo di vari scatti nella posizione desiderata come risulta dalla scritta.)
ATTENZIONE!
In posizione “8 Ω”, non usare
in nessun caso l’altoparlante in un impianto con
uscita audio 100 V. L’altoparlante e eventualmente
anche l’amplificatore subiranno dei danni.
3) Togliere la copertura dei morsetti (b) e fare passare il
cavo attraverso il passacavo della copertura. Collegare il cavo con i morsetti e rimettere la copertura.
Nel caso di collegamento di più altoparlanti fare
attenzione all’identica polarità degli altoparlanti e
di non sovraccaricare l’amplificatore PA.
4) Orientare l’altoparlante in modo ottimale verso la
zona da sonorizzare.

con un conocimiento suficiente sobre la tecnología de 100 V en aplicaciones para megafonía.
Lea atentamente estas instrucciones antes de la
instalación y guárdelas para usos posteriores.
1 Aplicaciones
Este altavoz está especialmente diseñado para aplicaciones en sistemas de megafonía. Está equipado con
un transformador para funcionar en sistemas de 100 V
pero también puede estar directamente conectado a
las salidas de baja impedancia de un amplificador. La
carga conectada se adapta a través de un interruptor
rotativo. Como sistema de 2 vías, el altavoz es apto
para reproducción de música y conversación. Debido
a su recinto resistente a la intemperie (IP 65), puede
utilizarse también para instalaciones exteriores.
2 Notas Importantes
El recinto cumple con todas las directivas relevantes de
la UE y por lo tanto está marcado con el símbolo
Proteja el recinto de gran calor y frío (temperatura
•
ambiente admisible −20 °C a +50 °C).
Utilice sólo un paño suave y seco, o levemente
•
húmedo, para la limpieza; no utilice nunca ni productos quimícos ni detergentes agresivos.

No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad
•
alguna por cualquier daño personal o material producido si se utiliza el recinto para fines diferentes a
los originalmente concebidos, si no se conecta o se
instala correctamente, o si se sobrecarga.
Si va a poner el recinto fuera de servicio definitivamente, llévelo a la planta de reciclaje
más cercana para que su eliminación no sea
perjudicial para el medioambiente.
3 Montaje
Utilice el soporte de montaje para atornillar el altavoz
a un lugar apropiado en la pared o el techo. Para ajustar el altavoz, desatornille los tornillos de cierre del
soporte, mueve el altavoz según convenga y atornille
los tornillos.
4 Instalación
ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento en siste-

“8 Ω” si el altavoz debe funcionar directamente
en una salida de baja impedancia del amplificador.
(Coloque el interruptor en el stop izquierdo, luego
gírelo atrás hacia el número correspondiente de las
posiciones de bloqueo según las marcas.)
¡ADVERTENCIA! No utilice nunca un altavoz que
esté en la posición “8 Ω” en un sistema de 100 V. Se
dañaría el altavoz y posiblemente el amplificador.
3) Saque la tapa de protección de los terminales (b)
y pase el cable a través del agujero de la tapa de
protección. Conecte el cable a los terminales y
coloque de nuevo la tapa de protección. Cuando
se conectan múltiples altavoces, asegúrese de que
todos los altavoces tienen la misma prioridad y el
amplificador de megafonía no se sobrecarga.
4) Ajuste el recinto de un modo óptimo hacia la zona
deseada.

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalatorów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie systemów
PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed rozpoczęciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać się z
instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
Zestaw ten jest przeznaczony do zastosowań w systemach PA. Wyposażony jest w transformator, który
umożliwia pracę w systemach 100 V, ale może być
także podłączony do wyjść niskoimpedancyjnych
wzmacniacza. Moc zestawu jest regulowana za
pomocą obrotowego przełącznika. Zestaw jest układem dwudrożnym, dodatkowy głośnik wysokotonowy poprawia reprodukcję wysokich tonów. Zestaw
posiada wodoodporną obudowę (IP 65), dlatego też
można montować go na zewnątrz.
2 Środki bezpieczeństwa

Jeśli głośnik nie będzie już więcej używany,
wskazane jest przekazanie go do miejsca
utylizacji odpadów, aby został zniszczony
bez szkody dla środowiska.
3 Montaż
Zamontować głośnik w wymaganym miejscu (na ścianie lub suficie), wykorzystując uchwyt montażowy. Do
regulacji pochylenia należy najpierw poluzować śruby
blokujące w uchwycie.
4 Instalacja

2) Ustawić, wykorzystując śrubokręt odpowiednią
moc głośnika (obciążenia) dla pracy 100 V za pomocą przełącznika obrotowego (a), lub też wybrać
pozycję “8 Ω” dla pracy niskoimpedancyjnej. (Przekręcić przełącznik maksymalnie w lewo, a następnie na odpowiednią pozycję, według oznaczeń).
UWAGA!
Po ustawieniu pozycji “8 Ω” nie wolno
podłączać zestawu głośnikowego do wzmacniacza
100 V, gdyż ulegnie on uszkodzeniu.
3) Zdjąć osłonę z terminali głośnikowych, przeciągnąć
kabel przez otwór w osłonie. Podłączyć przewód do
terminali, a następnie zamocować osłonę. Podłączając kilka głośników należy zwrócić uwagę na to,
aby były one w tej samej polaryzacji oraz aby wypadkowe obciążenie nie przekraczało maksymalnego dopuszczalnego obciążenia wzmacniacza.
4) Przykręcić głośnikowy ustawiając w optymalnej
pozycji do nagłaśniającego obszaru.
Z zastrzeżeniem możliwości zmian.
