1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese ELA-Lautsprecher sind speziell für den Einsatz in
ELA-Anlagen konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten.
Sie lassen sich in Decken mit einer Stärke von 10 – 40 mm
einbauen. Das Gehäuse besteht aus ABS-Kunststoff
und ist entsprechend der Brennbarkeitsklasse UL 94 V-0
selbstlöschend.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt linien
der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-
•
bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
•
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fachge-
•
recht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder überlastet,
kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach-
oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für den
Lautsprecher übernommen werden.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie
ihn gemäß den örtlichen Vor schriften.
3 Montage
1) In die Decke ein entsprechend großes Loch sägen
(siehe technische Daten).
2) Den elektrischen Anschluss herstellen (Kapitel 4).
3) Zur Montage mit Hilfe des beiliegenden Hakens das
Schutzgitter herausziehen.
4) Den Lautsprecher in die Decke einsetzen und durch
Anziehen der vier Montageschrauben das Lautsprechergehäuse festklemmen. Das Schutzgitter wieder
einsetzen.
4 Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche
Spannung bis 100 V an der Anschlussleitung an. Die Installation darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Isolieren Sie unbedingt die nichtbenutzten Anschlussdrähte. An ihnen liegt berührungsgefährliche Spannung an.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers durch
die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den Verstärker. beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleistung
nicht überschreiten.
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist, diese zuerst
komplett ausschalten!
2) Den Lautsprecher über den Transformatoreingang
anschließen: Die weiße Ader (EDL-24 / -25) bzw. die
schwarze Ader (EDL-26 / -28) und eine der anderen
farbigen Adern, die der gewünschten Nennbelastung
durch den Lautsprecher entspricht, mit dem Ausgang
des ELA-Verstärkers verbinden.

3) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf
achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt werden (z. B. weiße bzw. schwarze Ader = Minuspol).

PA Ceiling Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers with
sufficient knowledge of 100 V technology for PA
applications. Please read the instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
These PA speakers are specially designed for PA applications that use 100 V technology. They can be installed
into ceilings with a thickness of 10 – 40 mm. The speaker
is made of ABS plastic. It is self-extinguishing according
to the flammability standard UL 94 V-0.
2 Safety Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with .
The speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
•
it against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C) .
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use chem-
•
icals or water.
No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
•
for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the speaker is used for other

installed or connected, or if it is over loaded.
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
definitely, dispose of the speaker in accordance with local regulations.
3 Installation
1) Saw a cutout of the appropriate size into the ceiling
(see specifications).
2) Make the electrical connection (chapter 4).
3) Use the hook supplied to remove the protective grille.
4) Insert the speaker into the ceiling, then tighten the
four mounting screws to fasten the speaker. Insert
the protective grille again.
4 Electrical Connection
WARNING
Always insulate the connection wires that are not used.
During operation, there is a hazard of contact with
dangerous voltage at these wires.
Observe the load of the PA amplifier by the speakers.
An overload may damage the amplifier! The total

1) In case the PA system is switched on, first switch it
off completely!
2) Connect the speaker via the transformer input: Con-
nect the white core (EDL-24 / -25) or the black core
(EDL-26 / -28) and one of the other coloured cores
corresponding to the desired power rating to the
output of the PA amplifier.

3) When connecting multiple speakers, make sure that
all speakers have the same polarity (e. g. white or
black core = negative pole).

Haut-parleur PA de plafond
Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possédant
des connaissances suffisantes en technique de

1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Les haut-parleurs de plafond PA sont spécialement
conçus pour une installation dans des systèmes de sonorisation PA fonctionnant en ligne 100 V et peuvent être
installés dans des plafonds d’une épaisseur de 10 mm à
40 mm. Le corps en ABS est auto-extinguible selon les
normes d’inflammabilité UL 94 V-0.
2 Conseils de sécurité
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives nécessaires
de l’Union européenne et porte donc le symbole
Le haut-parleur n’est conçu que pour une utilisation
•
en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de projections
d’eau, des éclaboussures, d’une humidité d’air élevée
et de la chaleur (plage de température de fonctionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec
•
et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
•
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le hautparleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement installé
.
ou branché, ou s’il y a surcharge ; en outre, la garantie
deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque le haut-parleur est définitivement
retiré du service, éliminez-le conformément
aux directives locales.
CARTONS ET EMBALLAGE
PAPIER À TRIER
3 Montage
1) Découpez dans le plafond un trou adéquat
(voir caractéristiques techniques).
2) Effectuez le branchement électrique (voir chapitre 4).
3) Pour le montage retirez la grille de protection à l’aide
du crochet livré.
4) Placez le haut-parleur dans le plafond, fixez le boîtier
à l’aide des quatre vis. Replacez la grille.
4 Branchements électriques
AVERTISSEMENT
Isolez impérativement les fils de branchement non utilisés, une tension dangereuse y est présente.
Pendant le fonctionnement, une tension de contact dangereuse jusqu’à
100 V est présente au câble de connexion. Seul un personnel qualifié peut
effectuer l’installation.
Faites attention à la charge de l’amplificateur PA par les
haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut endommager l’amplificateur ! La somme des puissances de l’ensemble
des haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de l’amplificateur.
1) Si l’installation PA est allumée, veillez à la débrancher
complètement.
2) Reliez le haut-parleur via l’entrée transfo: connectez
le conducteur blanc (EDL-24 / 25) ou le conducteur
noir (EDL-26 / 28) et un des autres conducteurs de couleur correspondant à la puissance nominale souhaitée
par le haut-parleur, à la sortie de l’amplificateur PA.

3) Si vous branchez plusieurs haut-parleurs, veillez à ce
qu’ils aient tous la même polarité (p. ex. conducteur
blanc ou noir: pôle moins).

1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questi altoparlanti sono stati realizzati per l’impiego in
impianti PA con uscita audio 100 V. Possono essere montati in soffitti con spessore fra 10 mm e 40 mm. La cassa
è fatta di plastica ABS ed è autoestinguente secondo la
classe UL 94 V-0.
2 Avvertenze di scurezza
L’altoparlante è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
L’altoparlante è previsto solo per l’uso all’interno di lo-

cali. Proteggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi
d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;

non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio sbagliato, di

collegamenti sbagliati o di sovraccarico dell’altoparlante, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per even-

3 Montaggio
1) Praticare un’apertura con il diametro richiesto
(vedi dati tecnici).
2) Eseguire il collegamento elettrico (cap. 4).
3) Per il montaggio staccare la griglia di protezione con
l’aiuto del gancio in dotazione.
4) Inserire l’altoparlante nel soffitto e fissare il conteni-
tore stringendo le quattro viti di montaggio. Rimettere la griglia di protezione.
4 Collegamento elettrico
AVVERTIMENTO
Isolare assolutamente i conduttori liberi di collegamento ai quali è presente una tensione pericolosa in caso
di contatto.
Tener presente il carico dell’amplificatore da parte degli
altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico può danneggiare l’amplifi-

(a seconda della potenza nominale dell’altoparlante)
