1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz in
ELA-Anlagen konzipiert. Er ist mit einem Übertra­ger für den Betrieb an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestat­tet. Die Modelle EDL-116TW und EDL-118TW
sind als 2-Wege-System zusätzlich mit einem
Hochtöner ausgestattet.

2 Wichtige Hinweise

Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten

3 Installation

Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern
darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle
gleich gepolt werden (z. B. schwarze Ader =
Minuspol) und dass der Verstärker nicht über­lastet wird.

5) Den Lautsprecher mit den gespannten Klemm­armen in den Montageausschnitt einsetzen
und vorsichtig in den Ausschnitt gleiten las­sen, bis er bündig anliegt.

These instructions are intended for installers with
specific knowledge in 100 V technology for PA
applications. Please read the instructions care­fully prior to installation and keep them for later
reference.

1 Applications

This speaker has especially been designed for
applications in PA systems. It is equipped with a
transformer for operation at 100 V systems. As a
2-way system, the models EDL-116TW and EDL­118TW are additionally equipped with a tweeter.

3 Installation

amplifier is not overloaded.

4) Bend the spring clamps upwards and keep
them in this position.

Attention, risk of injury!
Firmly hold the spring clamps in
place!

5) Insert the speaker with the spring clamps held
in place into the mounting cutout. Carefully
slide the speaker into the cutout until it is
flush with the ceiling.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Ce haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une
utilisation dans des installations de Public Adress.
Il est équipé d’un transformateur pour un fonc­tionnement dans des installations 100 V. Comme
système 2 voies, les modèles EDL-116TW et EDL­118TW sont en plus doté d’un haut-parleur d’aigu.

2 Conseils importants

Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives
nécessaires de l’Union européenne et porte donc
le symbole .

Le haut-parleur n’est conçu que pour une utili-

•

sation en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de
projections d’eau, des éclaboussures et d’une
humidité d‘air élevée. La plage de tempéra­ture ambiante admissible est de 0 – 40 °C.

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un

•

chiffon sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou d’eau.

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

•

dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si
le haut-parleur est utilisé dans un but autre
que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est

pas correctement installé ou branché ou s’il y
a surcharge; en outre, la garantie deviendrait
caduque.

Lorsque le haut-parleur est définitivement
retiré du service, vous devez la déposer
dans une usine de recyclage adaptée pour
contribuer à son élimination non polluante.

3 Installation

AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement,

Faites attention à la charge de l’amplificateur PA
par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut en­dommager l’amplificateur. La somme des puis­sances de l’ensemble des haut-parleurs reliés ne
doit pas dépasser la puissance de l’amplificateur.

1) Avant d‘installer le haut-parleur, éteignez
l‘amplificateur Public Adress pour que le câble
haut-parleur ne soit pas porteur de tension.

2) Découpez un trou de taille adéquate dans le
plafond (
coupe montage).

3) Reliez le haut-parleur via son transformateur à
l’amplificateur : reliez le conducteur noir et un

Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés, veillez
à ce que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même
polarité (p. ex. conducteur noir = pôle moins)
et que l’amplificateur ne soit pas en surcharge.

4) Pliez les ressorts de pince vers le haut et main­tenez-les dans cette position.

Attention, risque de blessure !
Maintenez bien les ressorts étirés!

5) Placez le haut-parleur avec les ressorts main­tenus en position dans la découpe de mon­tage et faites-le glisser avec précaution dans
la découpe jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encastre parfai­tement dans le plafond.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questo altoparlante è stato realizzato in modo
particolare per l’impiego in impianti PA. È equi­paggiato con un trasformatore per impianti con
uscita audio a 100 V. I modelli EDL-116TW e EDL­118TW, in quanto sistema a 2 vie, sono equipag­giati in più con un tweeter.

2 Avvertenze importanti

Il diffusore è conforme a tutte le direttive rile­vanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla

3 Installazione

AVVERTIMENTO

Tener presente anche il carico dell’amplificatore
PA da parte degli altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico
può danneggiare l’amplificatore! La somma
delle potenze di tutti gli altoparlanti collegati
non deve superare la potenza dell’amplificatore.

1) Prima di installare il diffusore spegnere l’am­plificatore PA per togliere la tensione dal cavo
verso il diffusore!

2) Praticare l’apertura necessaria nel soffitto

Durante il funzionamento, nel
cavo per altoparlanti dell’am­plificatore è presente una ten­sione fino a 100 V, pericolosa
in caso di contatto. L’installa­zione deve essere eseguita solo

corrisponde alla potenza nominale (volume)

Collegando più altoparlanti, fare attenzione
che tutti presentino la stessa polarità (p. es.
conduttore nero = polo negativo) e che l’am­plificatore non sia sovraccaricato.

4) Piegare i bracci di sostegno in alto e tenerle
ferme.

Attenzione, pericolo di farsi del
male! Tenere ben ferme i bracci di
sostegno tese!

5) Inserire il diffusore con i bracci di sostegno
tese nell’apertura di montaggio e farlo entrare
delicatamente finché è a filo con il soffitto.

1 Aplicaciones

Este altavoz ha sido especialmente diseñado
para aplicaciones en sistemas de megafonía.
Está equipado con un transformador para el
funcionamiento en sistemas de 100 V. Como
un sistema de 2 vías, los modelos EDL-116TW y
EDL-118TW son equipados adicionalmente con
un tweeter.

2 Notas Importantes

3 Instalación

ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento,

Preste atención a la carga de los altavoces en
el amplificador. ¡Una sobrecarga puede dañar
el amplificador! La potencia total de todos los
altavoces conectados no puede sobrepasar la
potencia del amplificador.

1) Desconecte el sistema de megafonía antes de
instalar el altavoz, de modo que el cable de
altavoz no contenga ningún voltaje.

2) Procure un agujero del tamaño correspon­diente en el techo (
jero de montaje).

Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese

5) Inserte el altavoz con las abrazaderas con re­sorte sujetas en su lugar en el corte de mon­taje. Deslice con cuidado el altavoz en el corte
hasta que quede empotrado en el techo.

1 Zastosowanie

Głośnik ten przeznaczony jest do zastosowania

głośnik był używany niezgodnie z przezna­czeniem, niepoprawnie zainstalowany, podłą­czony lub przeciążony.

miejsca utylizacji odpadów, aby został
zniszczony bez szkody dla środowiska.

wzmacniacza.

1) Przed przystąpieniem do podłączania gło­śników należy wyłączyć wzmacniacz PA, aby
kabel głośnikowy nie znajdował się pod na­pięciem!

2) Należy wyciąć w suficie otwór odpowiedniej

5) Wsunąć głośnik w otwór w suficie. Po wsu­nięciu głośnika, zaczepy sprężynowe zostaną
zwolnione mocując głośnik w suficie.
