2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch

auf einen Defekt besteht,

3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

Geben Sie die Geräte in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in
eine Fachwerkstatt.

3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Dieses Audio-/Videoübertragungssystem besteht aus
einem 2,4-GHz-Sender, der sich auf eine Überwa­chungskamera stecken lässt, dem dazugehörigen
Empfänger und einem 8-V-Netzgerät für den Empfän­ger. Es dient zum Aufbau einer drahtlosen Video-Über­wachungsanlage. Dazu werden zusätzlich nur noch
eine Videokamera und ein Monitor benötigt. Es können
sowohl S/W-Kameras als auch Farbkameras verwen­det werden. Für die Tonübertragung ist der Sender mit
einem Mikrofon ausgestattet.

Die Übertragungsreichweite hängt stark von den ört­ lichen Gegebenheiten ab. Bei Sichtverbindung zwischen
Sender und Empfänger kann sie bis zu 100 m betragen.
In Gebäuden reduziert sich die Reichweite jedoch durch
die Wände und Decken je nach deren Beschaffenheit
auf ca. 20 m. Durch die Verwendung einer gewinnbrin­genden Antenne am Empfänger kann die Reichweite
jedoch um ein Mehrfaches erhöht werden.

3.1 Konformität und Zulassung

Hiermit erklärt MONACOR INTERNATIONAL, dass sich
das Übertragungssystem AV-410SET in Übereinstim­mung mit den grundlegenden Anforderungen und den
übrigen einschlägigen Bestimmungen der Richtlinie
1995/5/EG befindet. Die Konformitätserklärung kann im
Internet über die Homepage von MONACOR INTER ­NA TIO NAL (www.monacor.com) abgerufen werden.

Das Übertragungssystem ist für den Betrieb in den
EU- und EFTA-Staaten allgemein zugelassen und an -

melde- und gebührenfrei.

Sollen die Geräte endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie sie zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen
Recyclingbetrieb.

4 Inbetriebnahme

4.1 Platzierung von Sender und Empfänger

Erfahrungen aus der Praxis haben gezeigt, dass ein
optimaler Empfang bei einer Aufstellung in einer Höhe
von mindes tens 1,5m bis 2 m über dem Boden erreicht
wird. Vor der endgültigen Platzierung sollte ein Probe­betrieb erfolgen, da bereits durch Verschieben des
Senders und des Empfängers um nur einige Zentimeter
sich die Übertragungs qualität erheblich ändern kann.

4.2 Anschlüsse

1) Den Sender mit seinem BNC-Stecker (1) auf den
Videoausgang der Kamera stecken.

2) Der Sender wird mit einer Gleichspannung von 12V
betrieben. Arbeitet die Kamera ebenfalls mit 12V,
lassen sich der Sender und die Kamera gemeinsam
über ein 12-V-Netzgerät betreiben:

a) Ein stabilisiertes 12-V-Netzgerät an eine der bei-

den Buchsen (6) des Senders anschließen. Die
Strom aufnah me des Senders beträgt 50mA. Be ­nötigt wird ein Stecker 5,5/2,1 mm (Außen-/
Innendurchmesser). Am Mittelkontakt muss sich
der Plus pol befinden.

b) Das kurze Verbindungskabel (3) in die zweite

Kleinspannungsbuchse (6) und in die 12-V-Ver ­sorgungsbuchse der Kamera stecken. Das Ver­bindungskabel ist mit zwei Steckern 5,5/2,1 mm
ausgestattet. Bei Bedarf für den Kameraanschluss
einen anderen, passenden Stecker verwenden.

Sollte die Kamera nicht mit 12 V arbeiten, müssen der
Sender und die Kamera getrennt versorgt werden.

3) Die Buchse A/V (9) über das beiliegende Adapter­kabel mit dem Monitor verbinden:
den roten Cinch-Stecker mit dem Audioeingang,
den gelben Cinch-Stecker mit dem Videoeingang.

4) Die beiliegende Empfangsantenne (11) in die SMA­Buchse (12) stecken. Alternativ kann bei unzurei­chender Empfangsqualität auch eine 2,4-GHz­Richtantenne mit entsprechendem Gewinn verwen­det werden, z. B. von MONACOR eine Antenne aus
der DX-Serie.

5) Den Stecker des beiliegenden 8-V-Netzge rätes (10)
in die Buchse DC8V (7) stecken und das Netzgerät
in eine Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz).

4.3 Kanalwahl

Die Funkübertragung erfolgt im 2,4-GHz-Bereich, der
für die Geräteserie AV-4xxSET in vier Kanäle aufgeteilt
ist. Es können zwei Übertragungssysteme gleichzeitig
betrieben werden, um z. B. die Bilder von zwei Kame­ras zu übertragen. Dazu muss immer ein Kanal zwi­schen den beiden Übertragungskanälen frei bleiben,
damit sie sich nicht gegenseitig stören. Folgende
Kanalkombinationen sind möglich:

Kanal 1 und 4 oder
Kanal 2 und 4

1) Den Betriebsmodus des Empfängers mit dem DIP­Schalter M/L (8) wählen:

Position M = manuelle Kanalwahl: Den gewünsch­ten Übertragungskanal mit der Taste (13) einstellen.

Position L = automatischer Umschaltbetrieb, wenn
die Signale mehrerer Kameras empfangen werden
sollen: Der Empfänger schaltet alle 4 Sek. zwischen
den Kanälen um, deren DIP-Schalter (8) in der
Position ON stehen; die anderen Kanäle werden
übersprungen. Die LEDs (14) der Kanäle, zwischen
denen umgeschaltet wird, leuchten. Die LED des
gerade empfangenen Kanals blinkt.

2) Den Sender mit den DIP-Schaltern (5) auf den ent­sprechenden Kanal einstellen:

3) Sollte der gewählte Kanal gestört sein, am Empfän­ger und am Sender einen anderen Übertragungs ­kanal wählen.

personnel.

3 Applications

This audio/video transmission system consists of a

2.4 GHz transmitter which can be plugged onto a sur­veillance camera, the corresponding receiver, and a
8 V power supply unit for the receiver. It serves for set­ting up a wireless video surveillance system. For this
purpose only a video camera and a monitor are addi­tionally required. Both black-and-white cameras and
colour cameras may be used. For the audio transmis­sion the transmitter is equipped with a microphone.

The transmission range largely depends on the
local conditions. Without any obstacles between trans­mitter and receiver it may be up to 100 m. However, in
buildings it is reduced to approx. 20 m by walls and
ceil ings, depending on their condition. By using an
antenna with gain at the receiver, the range can, how­ ever, be increased many times over.

3.1 Conformity and Approval

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL de clare that
the transmission system AV-410SET is in accordance
with the basic re quirements and the other relevant
regulations of the directive 1995 / 5 / EC. The declara­tion of conformity can be found in the Internet
via the MONACOR INTER NATIONAL home page
(www.monacor.com).

The transmission system is licence-free and gene­rally ap proved for operation in EU and EFTA countries.

If the units are to be put out of operation de ­finitively, take them to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the envi­ronment.

4 Operation

4.1 Placing the transmitter and receiver

Practical experience has shown that an optimum recep­tion is achieved when placing the units at a height of min­imum 1.5 m to 2 m above the ground. Prior to the final
placing, a trial run is recommended as the transmission
quality can substantially be changed by displacing the
transmitter and the receiver by a few centimetres only.

4.2 Connections

1) Connect the transmitter with its BNC plug (1) to the
video output of the camera.

2) The transmitter is operated with a DC voltage of
12 V. If the camera also operates with 12 V, the
transmitter and the camera can be operated
together via a 12 V power supply unit:

a) Connect a regulated 12V power supply unit to

one of the two jacks (6) of the transmitter. The
current consumption of the transmitter is 50 mA.
A plug 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside diameter) is
required. The centre contact must be at the posi­tive pole.

b) Connect the short connection cable (3) to the

second low voltage jack (6) and to the 12 V
power supply jack of the camera. The connec­tion cable is equipped with two plugs

5.5/2.1mm. If required, use another, matching
plug for the camera connection.

If the camera should not operate with 12 V, the
transmitter and the camera must be supplied sepa­rately.

3) Connect the jack A/V (9) to the monitor via the
adapter cable provided:
connect the red phono plug to the audio input,
connect the yellow phono plug to the video input

4) Connect the supplied reception antenna (11) to the
SMA jack (12). Alternatively, with insufficient receiv­ing quality, it is also possible to use a 2.4 GHz direc­ tional antenna with corresponding gain, e. g. an
antenna of the DX series from MONACOR.

5) Connect the plug of the supplied 8V power supply
unit (10) to the jack DC8V (7) and the power supply
unit to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).

4.3 Channel selection

The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range which has been divided into four channels for the
series of units AV-4xxSET. Two transmission systems
can be operated at the same time, e. g. to transmit the
pictures of two cameras. For this purpose always one
channel between the two transmission channels must
remain free, so that they do not interfere with each
other. The following channel combinations are possible:

channel 1 and channel 3 or
channel 1 and channel 4 or
channel 2 and channel 4

1) Select the operating mode of the receiver with the
DIP switch M/L (8):

Position M = manual channel selection: Adjust the
desired transmission channel with the button (13).

Position L = automatic channel selection for re­ceiving the signals of several cameras: Every 4 sec ­onds, the receiver will switch between the channels
of which the DIP switches (8) are set to ON; the
other channels will be skipped. The LEDs (14) of the
channels used will light up. The LED of the channel
received at the moment will flash.

2) Adjust the transmitter to the corresponding channel
with the DIP switches (5):

3) In case of interference occurring on the selected
channel, select another transmission channel at the
receiver and at the transmitter.

3 Possibilités dʼutilisation

Ce système de transmission audio/vidéo se compose
dʼun émetteur 2,4 GHz pouvant être connecté à une
caméra de surveillance, du récepteur correspondant et
dʼune bloc secteur 8 V pour le récepteur. Il permet de
constituer une installation de surveillance vidéo sans
fil. Dans ce cas, une caméra vidéo et un moniteur sont,
en plus, nécessaires. On peut utiliser aussi bien des
caméras noir et blanc que des caméras couleur. Pour
la transmission audio, lʼémetteur est équipé dʼun
microphone.

La portée de transmission dépend largement du
lieu dʼutilisation ; sans obstacle entre lʼémetteur et le ré ­cepteur, elle peut atteindre 100m. Dans des bâtiments,
la portée est réduite par les plafonds et murs à 20 m
environ, selon leur composition. Lʼutilisation dʼune
antenne amplifiée sur le récepteur permet dʼaugmenter
plusieurs fois la portée.

3.1 Conformité et autorisation

Par la présente, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL déclare
que système de transmission AV-410SET se trouve en
conformité avec les exigences fondamentales et les
autres réglementa tions inhérentes à la directive
1995/5/CEE. Le certificat de conformité peut être
appelé via la page dʼaccueil du site internet de
MONACOR INTERNATIONAL (www.monacor.com).

Le système de transmission est autorisé dans
lʼUnion Européenne et les pays de lʼA.E.L.E. et ne

requiert pas de déclaration.

Lorsque les appareils sont définitivement reti­rés du marché, vous devez les déposer dans
une usine de recyclage adaptée pour contri­buer à leur élimination non polluante.

4 Fonctionnement

4.1 Placement de lʼémetteur et du récepteur

Lʼexpérience montre que la réception est optimale pour
un positionnement des appareils à une hauteur de
1,5 m à 2m au moins au-dessus du sol. Avant le place­ment définitif, il est conseillé dʼeffectuer un test car un
déplacement de lʼémetteur et du récepteur de quel­ques centimètres uniquement peut modifier considé ­rablement la qualité de transmission.

4.2 Branchements

1) Reliez lʼémetteur avec sa fiche BNC (1) sur la sortie
vidéo de la caméra.

2) Lʼémetteur fonctionne avec une tension continue de
12 V. Si la caméra fonctionne également avec une
tension de 12 V, lʼémetteur et la caméra peuvent
fonctionner ensemble via un bloc secteur 12 V :

a) Reliez un bloc secteur 12 V stabilisé à une des

deux prises (6) de lʼémetteur. La consommation
de lʼémetteur est de 50 mA. Une fiche 5,5/2,1 mm
(diamètre extérieur/intérieur) est nécessaire. Le
pôle plus doit se trouver au contact médian.

b) Reliez le cordon court de liaison (3) à la seconde

prise dʼalimentation (6) et dans la prise dʼalimen­tation 12 V de la caméra. Le cordon de liaison
est doté de deux fiches 5,5/2,1mm. Si besoin,
pour le branchement caméra, utilisez une autre
fiche adéquate.

Si la caméra ne fonctionnait pas avec du 12 V,
lʼémetteur et la caméra doivent être alimentés sépa­rément.

3) Reliez la prise A/V (9) via le cordon adaptateur livré
au moniteur :
reliez la fiche RCA mâle rouge à lʼentrée audio,
reliez la fiche RCA mâle jaune à lʼentrée vidéo.

4) Reliez lʼantenne de réception livrée (11) à la prise
SMA (12). Si la qualité de réception est insuffisante,
on peut utiliser, à la place, une antenne direction­nelle 2,4 GHz avec une amplification adéquate,
p. ex., une antenne de la série DX de MONACOR.

5) Placez la fiche du bloc secteur 8 V livré (10) dans la
prise DC8V (7) et reliez le bloc secteur à une prise
230 V~/50 Hz.

4.3 Sélection de canaux

La transmission sans fil sʼeffectue dans la plage
2,4 GHz, divisée, pour la série dʼappareils AV-4xxSET
en quatre canaux. On peut utiliser simultanément deux
systèmes de transmission pour par exemple transmet­tre les images de deux caméras. Pour ce faire, un
canal doit toujours rester libre entre les deux canaux
de transmission pour ne pas quʼils se perturbent simul­tanément. Les combinaisons de canal suivant sont
possibles :

Canal 1 et 4 ou
Canal 2 et 4

1) Sélectionnez le mode de foncfionnement du récep­teur avec lʼinterrupteur DIP M/L (8) :

Position M = sélection manuelle de canal : réglez le
canal voulu de transmission avec la touche (13).

Position L = mode de commutation automatique si
des signaux de plusieurs caméras doivent être
reçus : le récepteur commute toutes les quatre
secondes entre les canaux dont les interrupteurs
DIP (8) sont sur la position ON : les autres canaux
sont sautés. Les LEDs (14) des canaux entre les­quels il y a commutation, brillent. La LED du canal
actuellement reçu clignote.

2) Réglez lʼémetteur sur le canal correspondant avec
les interrupteurs DIP (5) :

4) Si le canal sélectionné devait être perturbé, sélec­tionnez sur le récepteur et sur lʼémetteur un autre

Per la riparazione rivolgersi sempre ad unʼofficina

3 Possibilità dʼimpiego

Questo sistema di trasmissione audio/video è compo­sto da un trasmettitore a 2,4 GHz che può essere mon­tato su una telecamera di sorveglianza, e dal relativo
ricevitore con il suo alimentatore 8 V. Serve per creare
un impianto di sorveglianza video senza fili. Sono
richiesti in più soltanto una telecamera e un monitor. Si
possono usare telecamere in b/n e a colori. Per la tra­smissione audio, il trasmettitore è equipaggiato con un
microfono.

La portata di trasmissione dipende fortemente dalle
condizioni locali. Se non ci sono ostacoli fra trasmetti­tore e ricevitore può arrivare fino a 100 m. Negli edifici,
la portata è ridotta per via delle pareti e dei soffitti, a
seconda delle loro caratteristiche, a 20 m ca. Impie­gando unʼantenna con guadagno sul ricevitore, la por­tata può essere aumentata più volte.

3.1 Conformità e omologazione

La MONACOR INTERNATIONAL dichiara che il
sistema di transmissione AV-410SET è conforme a tutti
i requisiti di base e alle rimanenti disposizioni in mate­ria della direttiva 1995/5/CE. La dichiarazione di
conformità può essere scaricata in Internet dal sito di
MONACOR INTERNATIONAL (www.monacor.com).

Il sistema di transmissione è omologato per lʼim­piego negli stati dellʼUE e dellʼEFTA, non richiede

registrazione ed è esento da tasse.

Se si desidera eliminare gli apparecchi defini­tivamente, consegnarli per lo smaltimento ad
unʼistituzione locale per il rici claggio.

4 Messa in funzione

4.1 Posizionamento di trasmettitore e ricevitore

Lʼesperienza pratica ha dimostrato che si ottiene una
ricezione ottimale posizionando gli apparecchi ad
unʼaltezza di non meno di 1,5 m a 2m dal pavimento.
Prima del posizionamento definitivo conviene fare
delle prove, perché uno spostamento del trasmettitore
e del ricevitore di pochi centimetri può modificare note­volmente la qualità di trasmissione.

4.2 Collegamenti

1) Inserire il trasmettitore nellʼuscita video della teleca­mera per mezzo del suo connettore BNC (1).

2) Il trasmettitore funziona con una tensione continua
di 12 V. Se anche la telecamera funziona con 12 V,
il trasmettitore e la telecamera possono essere ali­mentati dallo stesso alimentatore 12 V:

a) Collegare un alimentatore 12 V stabilizzato con

una delle due prese (6) del trasmettitore. La
potenza assorbita del trasmettitore è di 50 mA. È
richiesto uno spinotto 5,5/2,1mm (diametro
esterno/interno). Il positivo deve trovarsi sul
contatto centrale.

b) Inserire il cavo corto di collegamento (3) nella

seconda presa per alimentazione DC (6) e nella
presa di alimentazione 12 V della telecamera. Il
cavo possiede due spinotti di 5,5/2,1mm. Even­tualmente usare una altro spinotto per il collega­mento con la telecamera.

Se la telecamera non funziona con 12 V, il trasmet­titore e la telecamera richiedono unʼalimentazione
separata.

3) Collegare la presa A/V (9) con il monitor servendosi
del cavo adattatore in dotazione:
la spina RCA rossa con lʼingresso audio
la spina RCA gialla con lʼingresso video.

4) Inserire lʼantenna di ricezione (11) in dotazione nella
presa SMA (12). In alternativa, e nel caso di qualità
scarsa di ricezione, si può usare anche unʼantenna
direzionale di 2,4 GHz con guadagno, p.es. unʼan­tenna della serie DX di MONACOR.

5) Inserire lo spinotto dellʼalimentatore 8 V in dota­zione (10) nella presa DC8V (7) e inserire lʼalimen­tatore in una presa di rete (230 V~/50 Hz).

4.3 Scelta del canale

La trasmissione radio avviene nel settore dei 2,4 GHz,
suddiviso per la serie di apparecchi AV-4xxSET in quat­tro canali. Si possono usare due sistemi di trasmis­sione contemporaneamente, p. es. per trasmettere le
immagini di due telecamere. In questo caso è neces­sario che un canale rimanga sempre libero fra i due
canali di trasmissione per evitare delle interferenze.
Sono possibili le seguenti combinazioni di canali:

canali 1 e 3 o
canali 1 e 4 o
canali 2 e 4

1) Scegliere il modo di funzionamento del ricevitore
con il DIP-switch M/L (8):

Posizione M = scelta manuale del canale: impos­tare il canale desiderato per la trasmissione con il
tasto (13).

Posizione L = funzionamento a cambio automa­tico, se si devono ricevere i segnali di più teleca­mere: il ricevitore cambia ogni 4 secondi fra i canali
i cui DIP-switch (8) si trovano in posizione ON; gli
altri canali vengono saltati. I LED (14) dei canali, fra
i quali ha luogo il cambio, si accendono. Il LED del
canale che sta ricevendo, lampeggia.

2) Sul trasmettitore impostare il canale con i DIP­switch (5):
