3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Empfänger AV-3010RDX dient in Verbindung
mit einem 2,4-GHz-Sender oder einer 2,4-GHzFunk-Überwachungskamera der Serie „AV-...“ von
MONACOR zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Ton und
Bild. Mit zusätzlichen Geräten aus dem Programm
von MONACOR lässt sich eine drahtlose Video-Überwachungsanlage aufbauen.
Die Übertragungsreichweite hängt stark von den
örtlichen Gegebenheiten, dem verwendeten Sender
und den verwendeten Antennen ab. Bei Sichtverbindung kann sie bis zu 1000m betragen, in Gebäuden
je nach Beschaffenheit der Wände bis zu 100m.
Durch die Verwendung einer gewinnbringenden Antenne lässt sich die Reichweite erheblich vergrößern.
4 Inbetriebnahme
4.1 Platzierung von Sender und Empfänger
Die beste Empfangsqualität erhält man, wenn die
Antenne des Senders und die des Empfängers parallel zueinander stehen. Dazu lässt sich die Antenne (3)
senkrecht aufklappen und auf optimalen Empfang
drehen. Erfahrungen aus der Praxis haben gezeigt,
dass ein optimaler Empfang bei einer Aufstellung in
einer Höhe von mindestens 1,5 bis 2 m über dem
Boden erreicht wird. Vor der endgültigen Montage
sollte ein Probebetrieb erfolgen, da bereits durch Verschieben des Senders und/oder Empfängers um nur
einige Zentimeter sich die Übertragungsqualität erheblich verbessern kann.
Um den maximalen Empfangspegel zu ermitteln,
im Probebetrieb die Empfangspegelanzeige „Level“
auf dem Bildschirm einblenden. Dazu die Taste „OK“
(7) dreimal kurz drücken (siehe auch Kap. 5.1).
4.2 Geräte anschließen
Vor dem Anschließen von Geräten bzw. Ändern bestehender Anschlüsse den A V -3010RDX und alle anderen Geräte der Überwachungsanlage ausschalten.
Bei der Auswahl der Audioausgänge ist zu beachten, dass sich der Audiopegel (Lautstärke) an den
Buchsen „audio A“ (10) und „audio B“ (11) mit den
Tasten „L-“ und „L+“ (5) einstellen lässt, der Audiopegel an der Buchse „DIN-AV“ (9) jedoch nicht.
4.2.1 Überwachungsmonitor
1) Den Videoeingang des Monitors mit der Buchse
„video“ (12) über ein 75-Ω-Koaxialkabel verbinden.
2) Wird auch ein Ton übertragen, den Audioeingang
des Monitors über ein abgeschirmtes Audiokabel
an die Buchse „audio A“ (10) anschließen und
bei einem Stereoton zusätzlich an die Buchse
„audio B“ (11).
4.2.2 Fernsehgerät
Anstelle eines Monitors kann auch ein Fernsehgerät
angeschlossen werden.
1) Je nach vorhandenen Anschlussbuchsen am
Fernsehgerät den AV-3010RDX über die Buchse
„DIN-AV“ (9) oder über die Buchsen „audio A“ (10),
„audio B“ (11) und „video“ (12) an das Fernseh-
gerät anschließen.
2) Ist das Fernsehgerät mit einer Scart-Buchse aus-
gestattet, diese über einen Adapter (z. B. VC-162
von MONACOR) mit der Buchse „DIN-AV“ (9) ver-
binden.
3) Ist das Fernsehgerät nicht mit einer der zuvor
genannten Eingangsbuchsen ausgestattet, einen
AV-Modulator (z.B. VAM-3 von MONACOR) an die
Buchse „video“ (12) und ggf. an die Buchse „audio
A“ (10) anschließen. Den Modulator zwischen die
Fernsehantenne und die Antennenbuchse des
Fernsehgerätes stecken.
4.2.3 Videorecorder, zweiter Monitor oder zweites
Fernsehgerät
1) Zur Ton- und Bildaufzeichnung kann ein Videore-
corder an die Buchse „DIN-AV“ (9) angeschlossen
werden. Je nach vorhandenen Anschlussbuchsen
am Videorecorder ist eventuell ein Adapter erfor-
derlich (z.B. VC-162 von MONACOR).
2) Alternativ lässt sich an die Buchse „DIN-AV“ ein
zweiter Monitor oder ein zweites Fernsehgerät zur
parallelen Überwachung anschließen. Bei Bedarf
ist hier ebenfalls ein entsprechender Adapter er-
forderlich.
4.2.4 Externe Antenne
Ist der Empfangspegel mit der festmontierten Antenne (3) zu gering, an die Buchse „antenna socket 2“
(16) eine externe Antenne anschließen. Aus der Serie
„DX-...“ von MONACOR sind verschiedene Antennen
mit unterschiedlichem Antennengewinn verfügbar.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es
zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

4.2.5 Signalgeber oder andere Zusatzgeräte
Zur Ansteuerung optischer bzw. akustischer Signalgeber oder anderer Zusatzgeräte sind zwei Relaisausgänge vorhanden:
1. Sobald ein einwandfreies Videosignal empfangen
wird, schließen* die Kontakte „AV channel“ (14).
2. Ist der verwendete Sender mit einem Schaltkanal
ausgestattet und ist dieser Schaltkanal aktiviert
(z.B. durch einen Bewegungsmelder), schließen*
die Kontakte „switching channel“ (14).
*Werkseinstellung
Mit den Kontakten lassen sich Spannungen bis 42V
bei maximal 500mA schalten.
4.2.6 Stromversorgung
Zur Stromversorgung wird ein stabilisiertes Netzgerät
mit einer Ausgangsspannung zwischen 7 und 30 V
und einem Ausgangsstrom von mindestens 500 mA
benötigt, z.B. PS-1000ST von MONACOR.
1) Bei Netzgeräten mit variabler Ausgangsspannung
diese auf 12V einstellen.
2) Das Netzgerät über einen Kleinspannungsstecker
5,5/2,5 mm (Außen-/Innendurchmesser) an die
Buchse „DC7 - 30V“ (15) anschließen. Dabei unbedingt die Polung beachten: den Pluspol an den
Innenkontakt des Steckers anlegen.
3) Erst nachdem alle anderen Anschlüsse ausgeführt
sind, das Netzgerät an eine Steckdose (230 V~ /
50Hz) anschließen.
4.3 Einstellungen vornehmen
Die Funkübertragung erfolgt im 2,4-GHz-Bereich auf
fünf Kanälen mit einem Abstand von 14 MHz. Maximal können gleichzeitig drei Kanäle benutzt werden
(Kanal 1, 3 und 5), weil zwei direkt nebeneinander
liegende Kanäle sich stören. Bei zwei benötigten
Kanälen gibt es mehrere Kombinationsmöglichkeiten:
Kanal 1 mit Kanal 3, 4 oder 5
Kanal 2 mit Kanal 4 oder 5
Kanal 3 mit Kanal 5
Der AV-3010RDX besitzt 48 Programme, auf denen
die Kanalnummern und weitere Funktionen über ein
Bildschirmmenü gespeichert werden können (siehe
Kap. 4.3.1). Der Empfänger ist ab Werk wie folgt vorprogrammiert:

Bildschirmmenü nicht aufgerufen, sondern nur mit
der Taste „P+“ oder „P-“ (6) das entsprechende Programm ausgewählt zu werden (siehe Kap. 5).
4.3.1 Einstellungen im Bildschirmmenü
Den Empfänger mit dem Schalter „power“ (1) einschalten. Mit der Taste „P+“ oder „P-“ (6) das Programm wählen, das eingestellt werden soll. Die Taste
„OK“ (7) ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten, bis die erste
Menüseite auf dem Bildschirm erscheint. Bei zu
schwachem oder fehlendem Empfangssignal ist das
Menü zum besseren Betrachten blau hinterlegt.

1) Zum Ändern von Funktionen die entsprechende
Menüzeile mit der T aste „P+“ oder „P-“ (6) anwählen
und mit der Taste „L-“ oder „L+“ (5) einstellen.

Program = gewählte Programmnummer 1 –48
Name = max. vier Zeichen zur Kennzeichnung das
Programms bzw. der Kamera. Es stehen alle
Großbuchstaben und Ziffern sowie einige Sonderzeichen zur Verfügung. Die Leerstelle befindet
sich zwischen „?“ und „A“.
Nach dem Anwählen der Zeile „Name“ blinkt die
erste Zeichenstelle. Das gewünschte Zeichen mit
der Taste „L+“ oder „L-“ auswählen. Dann mit der
Taste „P-“ auf die nächste Zeichenstelle springen.
Von der 4. Zeichenstelle aus wird mit der Taste „P-“
in die Zeile „Freq“ gesprungen.
Freq. = Empfangsfrequenz; sie kann in Schritten
von 0,25 MHz verändert werden. Dabei wird die
AFC (autom. Feinabstimmung) abgeschaltet. Bei
einer schlechten Empfangsqualität schaltet das
Gerät zur besseren Lesbarkeit zwischen blauem
Hintergrund und empfangenem Bild hin und her.
Channel = Empfangskanal (siehe auch Tabelle
auf der Seite 8). Bei einer Änderung der Kanalnummer wird gleichzeitig die AFC ausgeschaltet.
AFC = automatische Feinabstimmung; ist sie eingeschaltet (on), stellt sich der Empfänger im
Bereich von ±2 MHz automatisch genau auf den
Sender ein.
Video = Auswahl der Videosignalpolarität

SW-Rel. = ist am Sender oder an der Funkkammera der Schaltkanal aktiviert, sind die Relaiskontakte „switching channel“ (14) geschlossen (Einstellung „n.c.”) oder geöffnet (Einstellung „n.o.“).
Von dieser Menüzeile ausgehend wird mit der
Taste „P-“ (6) die zweite Menüseite aufgerufen.

Audio = Tonwiedergabe ein- (on) oder ausschal-
ten (off)
Signal = interner Signalsummer
off Der Summer ist ausgeschaltet.
AV Der Summer ertönt kurz, sobald ein Bild
einwandfrei empfangen wird.
SW Der Summer ertönt kurz bei Aktivierung
des Schaltkanals am Sender (falls vorhanden, siehe Bedienungsanleitung des
Senders).
„AV“ und „SW“ können gleichzeitig angewählt werden.
Auto = automatischer Umschaltbetrieb (Kap. 5.2)
off Bei eingeschaltetem Umschaltbetrieb
werden alle mit „off“ eingestellten Pro-
gramme übersprungen.

Programm im Umschaltbetrieb einge-
schaltet bleibt
Hold = Haltefunktion
Diese Funktion dient zur Erweiterung des automatischen Umschaltbetriebs und kann nicht für jedes
Programm einzeln aktiviert werden.
Ist „Hold“ ausgeschaltet (off), werden bei aktiviertem Umschaltbetrieb die Programme, für die eine
Verweildauer eingestellt wurde, entsprechend
nacheinander aufgerufen.
Wird in der Zeile „Hold“ auf „AV“ geschaltet, bleibt
der Empfänger im aktivierten Umschaltbetrieb auf
dem Programm stehen, auf dessen Kanal ein einwandfreies Bild empfangen wird. (Bei mehreren
gleichzeitig empfangenen Bildsignalen wird auf
das zuerst empfangene Bild geschaltet.) Beim Einsatz von mehreren Sendern, die mit einer bewegungsgesteuerten Einschaltautomatik ausgestattet sind (z.B. AV-3010TX von MONACOR), schaltet der Empfänger bei aktivierter Haltefunktion auf
den Sender um, der eine Bewegung im Kamerabild erkannt hat.
Bei der Einstellung „SW“ bleibt der Empfänger im
aktivierten Umschaltbetrieb auf dem Programmplatz stehen, auf dessen Kanal ein Schaltsignal
empfangen wird.
„AV“ und „SW“ können gleichzeitig angewählt werden.
Ist die Haltefunktion aktiviert, wird in der Zeile „Auto“
nicht die Verweildauer angezeigt, sondern „on“.

halten, bis das Menü ausgeblendet wird (ca.

Wichtig! Es ist nicht möglich, die Einstellungen für
alle Programme nacheinander auszuführen und
dann diese gemeinsam zu speichern. Es lassen
sich nur die Einstellungen für das Programm speichern, das gerade im Menü angezeigt wird.

4.3.2 Videopegel anpassen
Der Videoausgangspegel an den Buchsen „video“ (12)
und „DIN-AV“ (9) ist normgerecht auf 1Vss eingestellt.
Wenn jedoch auf dem Bildschirm das Bild zu hell oder
zu dunkel erscheint, mit dem Regler „video level“ (4)
den Pegel mit Hilfe eines Schraubendrehers anpassen.
5 Bedienung
1) Den Empfänger mit dem Schalter „power“ (1) einschalten. Das Programm, das vor dem letzten
Ausschalten eingestellt war, ist aktiviert. Die Programmnummer wird in der Anzeige (2) angegeben.
2) Sind in der Überwachungsanlage mehrere Kameras aufgestellt, kann mit der Taste „P+“ oder „P-“
(6) durch Anwählen des entsprechenden Programms auf eine andere Kamera umgeschaltet
werden.
3) Wird der Ton über die Buchsen „audio A“ (10) und
„audio B“ (11) abgenommen, kann die Lautstärke
mit den Tasten „L-“ und „L+“ (5) verändert werden.
[Die Lautstärke des Tons an der Buchse „DIN-AV“
(9) kann nicht verändert werden.]
4) Nach dem Betrieb den Empfänger und alle Geräte
der Überwachungsanlage ausschalten. Wird die
Anlage längere Zeit nicht benutzt, das Netzgerät
für den Empfänger aus der Steckdose ziehen, weil
es ständig einen geringen Strom verbraucht.

5.2 Automatischen Umschaltbetrieb aktivieren
Sind in der Überwachungsanlage mehrere Kameras
aufgestellt, kann der Empfänger automatisch zwischen den Kameras umschalten.
1) Für jede Kamera, auf die automatisch umgeschaltet werden soll, im Bildschirmmenü in der Zeile
„Auto“ eine Verweildauer zwischen 1 und 9 Sekunden einstellen (siehe Kap. 4.3.1) und das Menü
mit der Taste „OK“ (7) wieder verlassen.
2) Zum Einschalten des automatischen Umschaltbetriebs die beiden Tasten „P+“ und „P-“ (6) gleichzeitig drücken. Zur Kennzeichnung des Umschaltbetriebs blinkt die Programmnummer.
3) Zum Ausschalten des Umschaltbetriebs die Taste

This unit corresponds to the directive 89/336/EEC for
electromagnetic compatibility.

The receiver is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against impurities, humidity, and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range

any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly connected, operated, or not repaired in an expert way.
3 Applications
In combination with a 2.4GHz transmitter or a
2.4 GHz wireless surveillance camera of the “AV-...”
series from MONACOR, the receiver AV-3010RDX
serves for wireless audio and video transmission.
With additional units of the MONACOR product range
a wireless video surveillance system can be built up.
The transmission range largely depends on the
local conditions, the transmitter used and the antennas used. In the open the range can be up to 1000m,
in buildings up to 100m depending on the condition of
the walls. By using an antenna with gain, the range
can considerably be increased.
4 Setting into Operation
4.1 Placing the transmitter and receiver
The best receiving quality is obtained when the
antenna of the transmitter and that of the receiver are
parallel to each other. For this purpose the antenna
(3) can be folded up vertically and turned to optimum
reception. Practical experience has shown that an
optimum reception is achieved when placing the units
at a height of 1.5 to 2 m as a minimum above the
ground. Prior to the final mounting a trial run is recommended as the transmission quality can substantially
be changed by displacing the transmitter and/or
receiver by a few centimetres only.
To determine the maximum receiving level, insert
the receiving level indication on the screen during the
trial run. For this purpose shortly press the button
“OK” (7) three times (also see chapter 5.1).
4.2 Connecting the units
Prior to connecting the units or changing existing
connections switch off the AV-3010RDX and all other
units of the surveillance system.
When selecting the audio outputs, it has to be
observed that the audio level (volume) can be adjusted at the jacks “audio A” (10) and “audio B” (11)
with the buttons “L-” and “L+” (5), but not the audio
level at the jack “DIN-AV” (9).
4.2.1 Surveillance monitor
1) Connect the video input of the monitor to the jack
“video” (12) via a 75Ω coaxial cable.
2) If a sound is transmitted as well, connect the audio
input of the monitor via a screened audio cable to
the jack “audio A” (10) and in case of a stereo
sound additionally to the jack “audio B” (11).
4.2.2 TV set
ATV set can also be connected instead of a monitor.
1) Depending on the existing jacks on the TV set
connect the AV-3010RDX via the jack “DIN-AV” (9)
or via the jacks “audio A” (10), “audio B” (11), and
“video” (12) to the TV set.
2) If the TV set is equipped with a scart jack, connect
the scart jack via an adapter (e. g. VC-162 from
MONACOR) to the jack “DIN-AV” (9).
3) If the TV set is not equipped with one of the input
jacks mentioned before, connect an AV modulator
(e.g. VAM-3 from MONACOR) to the jack “video”
(12) and, if required, to the jack “audio A” (10).
Place the modulator between the TV antenna and
the antenna jack of the TV set.
4.2.3 Video recorder, second monitor, or second
TV set
1) For audio and video recording a video recorder
may be connected to the jack “DIN-AV” (9).
Depending on the existing connection jacks on the
video recorder an adapter may be necessary (e.g.
VC-162 from MONACOR).
2) Alternatively a second monitor or a second TV set
may be connected to the jack “DIN-AV” for parallel
surveillance. If necessary, a corresponding adapter may be required as well.
4.2.4 External antenna
If the receiving level with the firmly mounted antenna
(3) is too poor, connect an external antenna to the
jack “antenna socket 2” (16). The series “DX-...” from
MONACOR offers various antennas with different
antenna gain.
4.2.5 Signal devices or other additional units
Two relay outputs are available to control visual or
acoustical signal devices or other additional units:
1. As soon as a perfect video signal is received, the
contacts “AV channel” (14) will be closed.*
2. If the transmitter used is equipped with a control
channel and if this control channel is activated
(e.g. by a motion detector), the contacts “switching channel” (14) will be closed.*

The contacts allow to switch voltages up to 42 V at
500mA as a maximum.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.

4.2.6 Power supply
For power supply a regulated power supply unit is required with an output voltage between 7 and 30V
and an output current of 500mA as a minimum, e.g.
PS-1000ST from MONACOR.
1) In case of power supply units with a variable output voltage, adjust the voltage to 12V.
2) Connect the power supply unit via a low voltage
plug 5.5/ 2.5 mm (outside / inside diameter) to the
jack “DC 7 – 30 V” (15). Observe the correct polarity in any case: apply the positive pole at the
inner contact of the plug.
3) Do not connect the power supply unit to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz) before all other connections have been made.
4.3 Making the adjustments
The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range on five channels with a distance of 14MHz. As
a maximum, three channels can be used simultaneously (channels 1, 3, and 5) as two adjacent channels will interfere with each other. If two channels are
required, several combinations are possible:
channel 1 with channel 3, 4, or 5
channel 2 with channel 4 or 5
channel 3 with channel 5
The AV-3010RDX has 48 programmes on which the
channel numbers and further functions can be stored
via an on-screen menu (see chapter 4.3.1). The receiver is programmed ex factory as follows:

need not be called but only the corresponding
programme has to be selected with the button “P+” or
“P-” (6) [see chapter 5].
4.3.1 Settings in the on-screen menu
Switch on the receiver with the switch “power” (1).
Select the programme to be adjusted with the button
“P+” or “P-” (6). Keep the button “OK” (7) pressed for
approx. 3 seconds until the first menu page appears
on the screen. If the receiving signal is too poor or
missing, the menu is highlighted in blue colour for better viewing.

the button “P-”.
Freq. = receiving frequency; it can be changed in
steps of 0.25 MHz. Then the AFC (automatic frequency control) is switched off. In case of a poor
receiving quality the unit continuously switches
between blue background and received picture
and back to improve the readability.
Channel = receiving channel (also see table on
page 13). If the channel number is changed, the
AFC will be switched off at the same time.
AFC = automatic frequency contro; if it is switched
on, the receiver will automatically adjust itself
exactly to the transmitter in the range of ±2MHz.
Video = selection of the video signal polarity

This function serves for extending the automatic
switching mode and cannot individually be activated for each programme.
If “Hold” is switched off, in the activated switching
mode the programmes for which a dwell time has

If the unit is switched to “AV” in the line “Hold”, in
the activated switching mode the receiver stops on
the programme, on the channel of which a perfect
picture is received. (If several video signals are
received at the same time, the unit is switched to
the picture received first.) If several transmitters
are used equipped with an automatic, movementcontrolled switch-on system (e.g. AV-3010TX from
MONACOR), the receiver is switched in case of
activated hold function to the transmitter which has
recognized a movement in the camera picture.
In the activated switching mode, with the setting
“SW”, the receiver remains on the programme
space, on the channel of which a control signal is
received.
“AV” and “SW” can be selected at the same time.
If the hold function is activated, “On” is displayed in
the line “Auto” instead of the dwell time.

Important! It is not possible to make the settings
for all programmes one after the other and to store
them together. It is only possible to store the settings for the programme which is at present shown
in the menu.
3) To delete individual settings and to recall the factory setting, switch off the unit, keep the button
“OK” pressed, and at the same time switch on the
receiver.
4.3.2 Matching the video level
The video output level at the jacks “video” (12) and
“DIN-AV” (9) is adjusted to 1 Vpp according to standard. However, if the picture appears too bright or too
dark on the screen, match the level with the control
“video level” (4) by means of a screwdriver.
5 Operation
1) Switch on the receiver with the switch “power” (1).
The programme adjusted prior to the last switching-off is activated. The programme number is
shown in the display (2).
2) If several cameras are set up in the surveillance
system, it is possible to switch over to another
camera by selecting the corresponding programme
with the button “P+” or “P-” (6).
3) If the sound is picked up via the jacks “audio A”
(10) and “audio B” (11), the volume can be changed with the buttons “L-” and “L+” (5). [The volume
of the sound at the jack “DIN-AV” (9) cannot be
changed.]

4) After operation switch off the receiver and all units
of the surveillance system. If the system is not
used for a longer period of time, disconnect the
power supply unit for the receiver from the mains
socket, as it always has a low current consumption.
5.1 Inserting programme number, programme
name, date, time, and receiving level
If a picture is perfectly received, the following information can be inserted on the screen by shortly
pressing the button “OK” (7):

programme name (if entered)

The level is displayed as bar graph on a scale from
0 to 8.

5.2 Activating the automatic switching mode
If several cameras are set up in the surveillance
system, the receiver can automatically switch over
between the cameras.
1) For each camera for which the automatic switching mode is to be applied adjust a dwell time between 1 and 9 seconds in the line “Auto” on the onscreen menu (see chapter 4.3.1) and exit the
menu with the button “OK” (7).
2) To switch on the automatic switching mode, press
the two buttons “P+” and “P-” (6) at the same time.
To identify the switching mode, the programme
number blinks.
3) To switch off the switching mode, press the button
“P+” or “P-”.

3 Possibilités d’utilisation
Le récepteur A V -3010RDX sert pour une transmission
sans fil du son et de l’image, combiné à un émetteur
2,4GHz ou une caméra de surveillance sans fil
2,4GHz de la série “AV-…” de MONACOR. Avec des
appareils supplémentaires de la gamme MONACOR,
on peut ainsi créer une installation sans fil de vidéo
surveillance.
La portée de transmission dépend grandement de
la configuration des lieux d’utilisation, de l’émetteur et
des antennes utilisées. Lorsqu’il n’y a pas d’obstacle,
elle est de 1000 m maximum, dans des bâtiments,
jusqu’à 100m selon la composition des murs et plafonds. Si vous utilisez une antenne émettrice de gain,
la portée peut être sensiblement augmentée.
4 Fonctionnement
4.1 Placement de la caméra et du récepteur
La qualité de réception est la meilleure lorsque l’antenne de l’émetteur et celle du récepteur sont positionnées parallèlement l’une par rapport à l’autre.
L’antenne (3) peut donc être dépliée verticalement et
tournée vers une réception optimale. L’expérience
montre que la réception est optimale pour un positionnement des appareils à une hauteur de 1,5 m à
2m au moins au-dessus du sol. Avant le montage dé-
finitif, il est conseillé d’effectuer un test car un déplacement de l’émetteur et/ou du récepteur de quelques
centimètres uniquement peut modifier considérablement la qualité de transmission.
Pour transmettre le niveau maximal de réception,
affichez le niveau de réception “Level” sur l’écran.
Pour ce faire, enfoncez brièvement trois fois la touche
“OK” (7) [voir également chapitre 5.1].
4.2 Branchement des appareils
Avant de brancher les appareils ou de modifier les
branchements existants, éteignez le AV-3010RDX et
tous les autres appareils reliés de l’installation de surveillance.
Lors de la sélection des sorties audio, veillez à ce
que le niveau audio (volume) aux prises “audio A”
(10) et “audio B” (11) puisse être réglé avec les touches “L-” et “L+” (5) mais pas le niveau audio à la
prise “DIN-AV” (9).
4.2.1 Moniteur de surveillance
1) Reliez l’entrée vidéo du moniteur à la prise “video”
(12) via un câble coaxial 75Ω.
2) Si un son est en plus transmis, reliez l’entrée audio
du moniteur via un cordon audio blindé à la prise
“audio A” (10) et pour un son stéréo, en plus à la
prise “audio B” (11).
4.2.2 Téléviseur
Ala place d’un moniteur, on peut également brancher
un téléviseur.
1) Selon les prises de branchement existantes sur le
téléviseur, reliez le AV-3010RDX à la prise “DIN-
AV” (9) ou via les prises “audio A” (10), “audio B”
(11) et “video” (12) au téléviseur.
2) Si le téléviseur est doté d’une prise péritel, reliez-
la via un adaptateur (par exemple VC-162 de
MONACOR) à la prise “DIN-AV” (9).
3) Si le téléviseur n’est pas doté des prises men-
tionnées précédemment, connectez un modula-
teur AV (p. ex. VAM-3 de MONACOR) à la prise
“video” (12) et le cas échéant à la prise “audio A”
(10). Placez le modulateur entre l’antenne de la
télévision et la prise d’antenne du téléviseur.
4.2.3 Magnétoscope, second moniteur ou second
téléviseur
1) Pour un enregistrement de son et d’image, on peut
relier un magnétoscope à la prise “DIN-AV” (9).
Selon les prises prévues sur le magnétoscope, un
adaptateur peut être nécessaire (p.ex. VC-162 de
MONACOR).
2) Ala place du magnétoscope, on peut brancher à la
prise “DIN-AV” un second moniteur ou un second
téléviseur pour une surveillance parallèle. Si be-
soin, on peut utiliser ici également un adaptateur.
4.2.4 Antenne externe
Si le niveau de réception avec l’antenne montée (3)
est trop faible, connectez à la prise “antenna socket
2” (16) une antenne externe. Dans la série “DX-…” de
MONACOR, plusieurs antennes avec des gains différents sont disponibles.
Lorsque l’appareil est définitivement retiré
du service, vous devez le déposer dans
une usine de recyclage de proximité pour
contribuer à son élimination non polluante.

4.2.5 Emetteur de signal ou autres appareils supplémentaires
Pour gérer des émetteurs de signaux acoustiques ou
optiques ou d’autres appareils supplémentaires, deux
sorties relais sont prévues :
1. Dès qu’un signal vidéo irréprochable est reçu, les
contacts “AV channel” (14) se ferment*.
2. Si l’émetteur utilisé est doté d’un canal de commu-
tation et si ce canal est activé (par exemple par un
détecteur de mouvements), les contacts “switching channel” (14) se ferment*.
*réglage d’usine
Avec les contacts, des tensions jusqu’à 42 V pour
500mA au plus peuvent être commutées.
4.2.6 Alimentation
Pour l’alimentation, un bloc secteur stabilisé avec une
tension de sortie entre 7 et 30 V et un courant de
sortie de 500mA au moins est nécessaire, par exemple PS-1000ST de MONACOR.
1) Pour des blocs secteur avec tension de sortie
variable, réglez-la sur 12V.
2) Reliez le bloc secteur via un adaptateur basse
tension 5,5/ 2,5 mm (diamètre extérieur/ diamètre
intérieur) à la prise “DC 7 – 30 V” (15). Veillez à
respecter la polarité : mettez le pôle plus au
contact intérieur de la fiche.
3) Uniquement lorsque l’ensemble des branche-
ments est effectué, reliez le bloc secteur à une
prise secteur 230V~/50Hz.
4.3 Réglages
La transmission sans fil s’effectue dans la plage
2,4 GHz, divisée en 5 canaux avec un intervalle de
14MHz. On peut utiliser simultanément au plus trois
canaux (canal 1, 3, 5) car deux canaux se suivant
immédiatement se perturbent. Plusieurs combinaisons sont possibles dans le cas de deux canaux nécessaires :
Canal 1 avec canal 3, 4, ou 5
Canal 2 avec canal 4 ou 5
Canal 3 avec canal 5
Le A V -3010RDX possède 48 programmes sur lesquels
les numéros de canal et autres fonctions peuvent être
mémorisés via un menu écran (voir chap. 4.3.1). Le
récepteur est préprogrammé en usine comme suit :

4.3.1 Réglages sur le menu écran
Allumez le récepteur avec l’interrupteur “power” (1).
Avec la touche “P+” ou “P-” (6), sélectionnez le programme à régler. Maintenez la touche “OK” (7) enfoncée pendant 3 secondes environ jusqu’à ce que la
première page du menu apparaisse sur l’écran. Si le
signal de réception est trop faible ou est absent, le
menu est affiché avec un fond bleu pour une meilleure lisibilité .

1) Pour modifier les fonctions, sélectionnez la ligne
correspondante du menu avec la touche “P+” ou
“P-” (6) et réglez avec la touche “L-” ou “L+” (5).

Name = nom : 4 signes maximum pour dénommer
le programme ou la caméra. Toutes les majuscules et tous les chiffres ainsi que certains signes
particuliers sont disponibles. L’espace vide se
trouve entre “?” et “A”.
Après la sélection de la ligne “Name”, la première
position clignote. Sélectionnez le signe voulu avec
la touche “L+” ou “L-”. Ensuite, allez au prochain
emplacement avec la touche “P-”. Apartir du quatrième emplacement, on saute avec la touche “P-”
à la ligne “Freq”.
Freq = fréquence de réception ; elle peut être
modifiée en palier de 0,25 MHz. L’AFC (réglage
automatique précis) est déconnecté. Si la qualité
de réception est mauvaise, l’appareil commute
entre fond d’image bleu et image reçue pour une
meilleure lisibilité.
Channel = canal de réception (voir également
tableau page 18). En cas de modification du
numéro de canal, l’AFC est automatiquement
déconnectée.
AFC = réglage automatique précis : si le réglage
est activé (on), le récepteur se règle automatiquement avec précision sur l’émetteur dans une plage
de ±2MHz.
Video = sélection de la polarité du signal vidéo
Normal polarité normalisée
Inverse le signal vidéo est inversé : cette fonction
peut être utilisée pour une transmission
codée si la caméra sans fil peut également émettre le signal vidéo en inverse.
Antenna = sélection d’une antenne externe
(sélection Antenne 1 ou Antenne 2 utile uniquement sur des récepteurs avec deux prises d’antenne).

SW-Rel. = si sur l’émetteur, ou la caméra sans fil,

(réglage “n.c.”) ou ouverts (réglage “n.o.”).

seconde page du menu avec la touche “P-” (6).

appelés les uns après les autres lorsque le mode
de commutation automatique est activé.
Si dans la ligne “Hold”, “AV” est branché, le récepteur reste sur le programme sur le canal duquel
une image irréprochable est reçue, en mode commutation automatique. (Si plusieurs signaux d’image sont reçus simultanément, on commute tout
sur l’image reçue premièrement). Si on utilise plusieurs émetteurs équipés d’un système d’activation automatique géré par les mouvements, (par
exemple AV-3010TX de MONACOR), le récepteur
commute sur l’émetteur qui a détecté un mouvement dans l’image de la caméra lorsque la fonction Hold est activée.
Avec le réglage “SW”, en mode de commutation
activée, le récepteur reste sur l’emplacement de
programme sur le canal duquel un signal de commutation est reçu.
“AV” et “SW” peuvent être sélectionnés simultanément.
Si la fonction Hold et activée, dans la ligne “Auto”,
s’affiche non pas la durée d’affichage mais “on”.

Important ! Il n’est pas possible d’effectuer les
réglages pour tous les programmes les uns après
les autres et de les mémoriser ensemble. Seuls
les réglages pour le programme affiché dans le
menu peuvent être mémorisés.
3) Si les réglages personnalisés doivent être effacés
et le réglage d’usine réinstallé, éteignez l’appareil,
maintenez la touche “OK” enfoncée et simultanément, rallumez le récepteur.
4.3.2 Adaptation du niveau vidéo
Le niveau de sortie vidéo aux prises “video” (12) et
“DIN-AV” (9) est réglé sur 1Vcc. Si cependant l’image
sur l’écran est trop claire ou trop sombre, adaptez le
niveau avec le réglage “video level” (4) à l’aide d’un
tournevis.
5 Utilisation
1) Allumez le récepteur avec l’interrupteur “power”
(1). L’emplacement du programme réglé avant la
dernière désactivation, est activé. Le numéro de
programme est visible sur l’affichage (2).
2) Si plusieurs caméras sont positionnées dans l’installation de surveillance, on peut commuter avec
la touche “P+” ou “P-” (6) sur une autre caméra en
sélectionnant l’emplacement adéquat du programme.
3) Si le son doit être enregistré via les prises “audio
A” (10) et “audio B” (11), le volume peut être modifié avec les touches “L-” et “L+” (5). [Le volume à la
prise “DIN-AV” (9) ne peut pas être modifié].
4) Après le fonctionnement, éteignez le récepteur et
tous les appareils de l’installation de surveillance.
Si l’installation n’est pas utilisée pendant une longue période, débranchez le bloc secteur de la
prise car il a toujours une faible consommation.

Si une image irréprochable est reçue, on peut afficher
les informations suivantes sur l’écran par une activation brève sur la touche “OK” (7).

5.2 Activation de la commutation automatique
Si dans la centrale de surveillance plusieurs caméras
sont positionnées, le récepteur peut commuter automatiquement entre les caméras.
1) Pour chaque caméra sur laquelle il faut commuter
automatiquement, réglez sur le menu, dans la
ligne “auto”, une durée entre 1 et 9 secondes (voir
chapitre 4.3.1) et quittez le menu avec la touche
“OK” (7).
2) Pour allumer la commutation automatique, enfoncez simultanément les deux touches “P+” et “P-”
(6). Le numéro du programme clignote pour repérer le mode de commutation.
3) Pour éteindre ce mode de commutation, activez la
touche “P+” ou “P-”.

3 Possibilità d’impiego
Il ricevitore AV-3010RDX, insieme ad un trasmettitore
2,4GHz o ad una telecamera wireless di sorveglianza
2,4GHz della serie “AV-…” di MONACOR, serve per
la trasmissione audio e video senza fili. Con apparecchi supplementari dal programma MONACOR è
possibile creare un impianto di sorveglianza senza
fili.
La portata di trasmissione dipende fortemente
dalle condizioni locali, dal trasmettitore usato e dalle
antenne impiegate. Con vista libera si può arrivare
fino a 1000m, negli edifici, a seconda delle caratteristiche delle pareti, fino a 100 m. Impiegando un’antenna con guadagno, la portata può essere aumentata notevolmente.
4 Messa in funzione
4.1 Posizionamento del trasmettitore e del
ricevitore
La migliore qualità di ricezione si ottiene se le
antenne del trasmettitore e quelle del ricevitori sono
poste in modo parallelo. A tale scopo, l’antenna (3)
può essere raddrizzata verticalmente e girata fino a
raggiungere una ricezione ottimale.
L’esperienza pratica ha dimostrato che si ottiene
una ricezione ottimale posizionando gli apparecchi ad
un’altezza di non meno di 1,5m a 2 m dal pavimento.
Prima del montaggio definitivo conviene fare delle
prove, perché uno spostamento del trasmettitore e/o
del ricevitore di pochi centimetri può modificare notevolmente la qualità di trasmissione.
Per stabilire il migliore livello di ricezione, durante
la prova chiamare sullo schermo la visualizzazione
del livello di ricezione “Level”. Per fare ciò premere
brevemente tre volte il tasto “OK” (7) [vedi anche
capitolo 5.1].
4.2 Collegamento degli apparecchi
Prima di collegare gli apparecchi o di modificare i collegamenti esistenti, spegnere l’AV-3010RDX e tutti gli
altri apparecchi dell’impianto di sorveglianza.
Scegliendo le uscite audio occorre tener presente
che il livello audio (volume) può essere impostato alle
prese “audio A” (10) e “audio B” (11) per mezzo dei
tasti “L-” e “L+” (5), mentre il livello audio della presa
“DIN-AV” (9) non può essere regolato.
4.2.1 Monitor di sorveglianza
1) Collegare l’ingresso video del monitor con la presa
“video” (12) servendosi di un cavo coassiale 75Ω.
2) Se è richiesta anche la trasmissione audio, colle-
gare l’ingresso audio del monitor con la presa
“audio A” (10) per mezzo di un cavo schermato e,
nel caso di trasmissione stereo, in più con la presa
“audio B” (11).
4.2.2 Televisore
Al posto di un monitor si può collegare anche un televisore.
1) Collegare l’AV-3010RDX con il televisore, a se-
conda delle prese di collegamento dello stesso,
per mezzo della presa “DIN-AV” (9) o delle prese
“audio A” (10), “audio B” (11) e “video” (12).
2) Se il televisore dispone di una presa Scart, colle-
garla con la presa “DIN-AV” (9) servendosi di un
adattatore (p.es. VC-162 della MONACOR).
3) Se il televisore non dispone di nessuna delle prese
sopra indicate, occorre collegare un modulatore
AV (p. es. VAM-3 della MONACOR) con la presa
“video” (12) ed eventualmente con la presa “audio
A” (10). Inserire il modulatore fra l’antenna televi-
siva e la presa per antenna del televisore.
4.2.3 Videoregistratore, secondo monitor
o secondo televisore
1) Per la registrazione audio e video è possibile colle-
gare un videoregistratore con la presa “DIN-AV”
(9). Aseconda delle prese di collegamento presenti
sul videoregistratore, è richiesto eventualmente un
adattatore (p.es. VC-162 della MONACOR).
2) In alternativa, alla presa “DIN-A V” si può collegare
un secondo monitor o un secondo televisore per la
sorveglianza parallela. Anche in questo caso è
eventualmente necessario un adattatore.
4.2.4 Antenna esterna
Se il livello di ricezione è troppo basso con l’antenna
fissa (3), alla presa “antenna socket 2” (16) si può collegare un’antenna esterna. Dalla serie “DX-...” di
MONACOR sono disponibili diverse antenne con
guadagno differente.
Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio
definitivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per il
riciclaggio.

4.2.5 Segnalatori o altri apparecchi supplementari
Per comandare segnalatori ottici o acustici oppure altri
apparecchi supplementari, esistono due uscite relè:
1. Non appena si riceve un segnale video o, i contatti
“AV channel” (14) chiudono*.
2. Se il trasmettitore usato è equipaggiato con un
canale di comando e se tale canale è stato attivato
(p. es. tramite un segnalatore di movimento), chiudono* i contatti “switching channel” (14).
* impostazione dalla fabbrica
Con questi contatti si possono comandare tensioni
fino a 42V con un massimo di 500 mA.
4.2.6 Alimentazione
Per l’alimentazione è richiesto un alimentatore stabilizzato con tensione d’uscita fra 7 e 30 V e con
corrente d’uscita non inferiore a 500 mA, p. es. PS1000ST della MONACOR.
1) Nel caso di alimentatori con tensione d’uscita
variabile, impostarla a 12V.
2) Collegare l’alimentatore con lo spinotto 5,5/
2,5 mm (diametro esterno/interno) con la presa
“DC 7 –30 V” (15) rispettando assolutamente la
corretta polarità: il positivo sul contatto interno del
connettore.
3) Solo dopo aver eseguito gli altri collegamenti,
collegare l’alimentatore con una presa di rete
(230V~/50Hz).
4.3 Effettuare le regolazioni
La trasmissione wireless avviene nel settore 2,4GHz
su cinque canali con distanza fra di loro di 14MHz. Al
massimo si possono usare tre canali contemporaneamente (canali 1, 3 e 5), perché due canali direttamente adiacenti si disturbano. Se sono richiesti due
canali, esistono diverse possibilità di combinazione:
canale 1 con canale 3, 4 o 5
canale 2 con canale 4 o 5
canale 3 con canale 5
L’AV-3010RDX possiede 48 programmi con i quali si
possono memorizzare i numeri dei canali ed altre funzioni per mezzo di un menù sullo schermo (vedi capitolo 4.3.1). Dalla fabbrica, il ricevitore è programmato
come segue:

Se queste impostazioni della fabbrica sono sufficienti,
non è necessario chiamare il menù sullo schermo,
basta selezionare il relativo programma con il tasto
“P+” o “P-” (6) [vedi cap. 5].
4.3.1 Regolazioni con il menù sullo schermo
Accendere il ricevitore con l’interruttore “power” (1).
Con il tasto “P+” o “P-” (6) scegliere il programma da
impostare. Tener premuto per 3 secondi ca. il tasto
“OK” (7) finché appare la prima pagina del menù sullo
schermo. Se il segnale di ricezione è troppo debole o
assente, il menù presenta un sottofondo blu per facilitare la lettura.

1) Per modificare delle funzioni chiamare la relativa
riga del menù per mezzo del tasto “P+” o “P-” (6) e
regolare con il tasto “L-” o “L+” (5).

Program = numero del programma scelto 1– 48
Name = max. quattro caratteri per individuare il
programma o la telecamera. Sono disponibili tutte
le maiuscole e cifre nonché alcuni caratteri speciali. Lo spazio si trova fra “?” e “A”.
Dopo aver chiamato la riga “Name”, il primo posto
per i caratteri lampeggia. Selezionare il carattere
con il tasto “L+” o “L-”. Quindi con il tasto “P-” saltare al posto successivo per i caratteri. Dopo il 4.
posto, con il tasto “P-” si salta alla riga “Freq”.
Freq. = frequenza di ricezione; può essere modificata a passi di 0,25 MHz. In questo caso viene
disattivata la funzione AFC (regolazione fine automatica). In caso di scarsa qualità di ricezione, l’apparecchio passa, per facilitare la lettura, fra fondo
blu e immagine ricevuta.
Channel = canale di ricezione (vedi anche tabella
a pagina 23). Cambiando il numero del canale,
nello stesso tempo viene disattivata la funzione
AFC.
AFC = regolazione fine automatica; se è attivata
(on), il ricevitore si sintonizza automaticamente nel
campo di ±2MHz esattamente sul trasmettitore.
Video = scelta della polarità del segnale video

AV Il buzzer emette un breve segnale
quando si riceve bene un’immagine.

quando il canale di comando viene attivato (se presente; vedi le istruzioni per
l’uso del trasmettitore).
“AV” e “SW” possono essere selezionati contemporaneamente.
Auto = selezione automatica delle telecamere
(cap. 5.2)
off Con selezione automatica attivata, tutti i
programma regolati su “off” vengono saltati.

Hold = funzione “hold”
Questa funzione serve per ampliare la selezione
automatica e non può essere attivata per ogni programma singolarmente.
Se “Hold” è disattivata (off), durante la selezione
automatica attivata vengono chiamati i programmi,
uno dopo l’altro, per i quali è stata impostata una
durata di permanenza.
Se nella riga “Hold” si imposta “AV”, il ricevitore,
con selezione automatica attivata, si ferma con il
programma sul cui canale si riceve un’immagine
corretta. (Se si ricevono più immagini contemporaneamente, si passa sull’immagine ricevuta per
prima.) Se si impiegano più trasmettitori equipaggiati con attivazione automatica comandata da
movimento (p. es. AV-3010TX della MONACOR),
e se è stata attivata la funzione Hold, il ricevitore
passa al trasmettitore che ha riconosciuto un
movimento nell’immagine della telecamera.
Nell’impostazione “SW” e con selezione automatica attivata, il ricevitore si ferma sul programma il
cui canale riceve un segnale di comando.
“AV” e “SW” possono essere selezionati contemporaneamente.
Se è attivata la funzione Hold, nella riga “Auto” non
viene indicata la durata di permanenza, ma “on”.

impostazioni del programma visualizzato in quel
momento nel menù.
3) Per cancellare le proprie impostazioni e per ripristinare le impostazioni della fabbrica, spegnere
l’apparecchio, tener premuto il tasto “OK” e riaccendere contemporaneamente il ricevitore.

4.3.2 Adattamento del livello video
Il livello d’uscita video alle prese “video” (12) e “DINAV” (9) è impostato, come da norma, su 1Vpp. Tuttavia, se sullo schermo l’immagine risulta troppo chiara
o troppo scura, con il regolatore “video level” (4) è
possibile adattare il livello servendosi di un cacciavite.
5 Funzionamento
1) Accendere il ricevitore con l’interruttore “power”
(1). È attivato il programma selezionato prima
dello spegnimento. Il numero del programma è
indicato sul display (2).
2) Se nell’impianto di sorveglianza sono collocate più
telecamere, con il tasto “P+” o “P-” (6), scegliendo
il relativo programma, si può chiamare un’altra
telecamera.
3) Se l’audio viene prelevato tramite le prese “audio
A” (10) e “audio B” (11), il volume può essere
modificato con i tasti “L-” e “L+” (5). [Il volume del
segnale alla presa “DIN-AV” (9) non può essere
modificato.]
4) Dopo l’uso, spegnere il ricevitore e tutti gli apparecchi dell’impianto di sorveglianza. Se l’impianto
non viene usato per un periodo prolungato, staccare l’alimentatore del ricevitore dalla presa di rete
perché consuma continuamente della corrente,
seppure minima.
5.1 Visualizzare numero e nome del pro-
gramma, data, ora e livello di ricezione
Se un’immagine viene ricevuta correttamente, si possono visualizzare sullo schermo le seguenti informazioni azionando brevemente il tasto “OK” (7):
1. pressione del tasto
numero del programma e nome (se impostato)
2. pressione del tasto
in più data e ora
3. pressione del tasto
in più livello di ricezione “Level”
Il livello è indicato come diagramma a barre con
una scala da 0 a 8.

5.2 Attivare la selezione automatica delle telecamere
Se nell’impianto di sorveglianza sono collocate più
telecamere, il ricevitore può selezionare le telecamere automaticamente.
1) Per ogni telecamera che deve essere selezionata
automaticamente, impostare nel menù sullo
schermo nella riga “Auto” la permanenza fra 1 e 9
secondi (vedi cap. 4.3.1) e uscire dal menù premendo il tasto “OK” (7).
2) Per attivare la selezione automatica premere con-
temporaneamente i due tasti “P+” e “P-” (6). Per
indicare la funzione attivata, il numero del programma lampeggia.
3) Per disattivare la selezione automatica, azionare il
tasto “P+” o “P-”.
