DESCRIPTION, FUNCTIONS AND DISPLAYS
The Chameleon is a wrist watch that has an automatic movement.
Before setting the current time, date or manually winding the watch,
release the winding crown from the safe/screwed-down position.
In order to do so, you need to turn the crown several times in a
counterclockwise direction until you hear a gentle click, which will let
you know it is now in the unscrewed position for winding.
1. WINDING
Automatic winding
Constant arm movements cause the rotor to pivot and then the selfwinding mechanism sets the watch in motion.
Manual winding
When using the watch for the first time or if it has not been worn for a
long period, it is recommended to wind the watch 8-10 times, rotating
the winding crown clockwise. For future reference, you need to rotate
the winding crown 40 times in order to fully wind the watch manually.
The power reserve is approximately 42 hours. Stop rotating the crown
as soon as you feel any resistance.

ATTENTION: IF YOU CONTINUE TO WIND THE WATCH AFTER YOU HAVE
FELT RESISTANCE, YOU RUN THE RISK OF BREAKING THE TIP OF THE
SPRING. IF THIS OCCURS, THE BARREL WHERE THE MAINSPRING IS
WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AT THE OWNER’S OWN EXPENSE.
2. SETTING THE CURRENT DATE
Pull the winding crown of the movement out into position III.
Turn the winding crown counterclockwise to set the current date.
Do not set the date between 21.00 and 01.00. This could damage
the watch movement.
3. SET THE CURRENT TIME
Pull the winding crown of the watch movement out to position IV.
Turn the winding crown counterclockwise to set the current time.
Push the winding crown back into its original position. The second
hand will start moving.
After setting the current date, the time and having wound the watch,
return the winding crown to the neutral position by pressing it in
towards the case and return it to the safe/screwed-down position by
rotating it clockwise. The watch is only guaranteed water resistance
at a depth of 100 m when the winding crown is in this position.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE, CARE AND STORAGE
1. WATER RESISTANCE
Chameleon watches have a water resistance of 10 atm, this
water resistant mark is conditional and denotes a pressure of 10
atmospheres. This watch will not be damaged by splashes or rain,
and you can wash your hands without taking it off. You can swim with
this watch and it can be submerged in water. However, these watches
are not suitable for scuba diving.
ATTENTION: PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST NOT PULL THE
CROWN OUT WHEN THE WATCH IS WET.
Over time, seals will age and become worn, which will have a negative
impact on the water resistance of the watch. We recommend that you
have the condition of the gasket examined and the water resistance
checked once a year at an authorized service center and have the
seal replaced if necessary.
