Jazz Band®now has a higher NRR 25, SLC
18dB, Class 3
with 50% less band pressure.

The new Jazz Band has been redesigned with
increased protection and comfort in mind. We
increased the NRR by designing the soft tapered
foam pods to correspond to the shape of the
ear canal.
A more comfortable Jazz Band was achieved by
decreasing the band pressure. The end result is
greater user fit and comfort which can increase
compliance. Workers will want to wear it all day
long. The Jazz Band easily hangs around the
neck when not in use with the optional breakaway cord.

1. Use this laboratory-derived attenuation data for comparison purposes only. The amount
of protection afforded in field use often is significantly lower depending on how the
protectors are fitted and worn.
2. Failure to follow all instructions could result in hearing loss or injury. Failure to obtain a
proper fit will reduce effectiveness of hearing protectors and could result in hearing
loss or injury.
3. The Jazz Band must only be used as part of a hearing conservation program that
complies with applicable local safety and health regulations.
4. The amount of protection will be reduced if band becomes damaged, cracked, dis-
torted, or loses tension; or pods become worn, torn or misshapen. Replace with a
new Jazz Band or pods as appropriate.
5. Overprotection can be dangerous. The wearer must be able to hear warning signals.
6. Wearers with hearing loss should exercise extreme caution.
7. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the type of hearing protector and its
NRR is appropriate for the user in their particular workplace.
8. Failure to follow these warnings could result in serious injury or death.
