To establish a safe level:
Start your v olume control at a low setting.
Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it comfor tably and clearly, and
without distortion.
Once you have established a comfortable sound level:
Set the dial and leave it there.
Taking a minute to do this now will help to prevent hearing damage or loss in the future. After all, we want y ou listening for a lifetime.

This product is equipped with non-skid rubber 'feet' to prevent the product from moving when you operate the controls. These 'feet' are made from non-migrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. GETTING STARTED
Clock Back-up Battery Installation
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Install 2 “AAA” (UM-4) batteri es (n ot included) in the battery compartment following the polarity markings shown on it.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Note: The unit will still operate with out the batteries installed, but the tim e, alarm and radio preset settings will be lost and have to be reset in th e event of a power interruption or failure.
Warnings:
- Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive
heat such as direct sunlight, fire or the
like.
- Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the
unit.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
