Mobile electric heating
Read this manual carefully before you start running the mobile electric heating. Follow all
the following safety instructions. Keep this manual handy for future reference.

This manual aims at buyers, tenants and operators of the mobile electric heating.

Terms explained
Mobile electric heating
The mobile electric heating comprises the hand cart with the hot-water generator mounted on top, its armatures and the power cable.
Heating system
The heating system comprises all parts of the heating. These are, for example, the mobile
electric heating, piping, radiators, hot-water tank, circulating pumps, valves etc.
Hot-water generator
The hot-water generator is the actual heat source.

Risk of injury from wrong spare parts!
Wrong or faulty spare parts can cause damage, malfunction or complete failure of the
mobile electric heating and affect safety strongly.

Inadmissible accessories and spare parts
Third-party components may be unable to resist thermal or mechanical stress. Therefore,
Mobil in Time does not assume any liability for damage resulting from the use of devices,
accessories or spare parts not approved by the manufacturer.

Mobile electric heating
The manufacturer grants a 24-month warranty against material or processing faults for
this product. The warranty begins with the purchase of the device from a specialist supplier. If any warranty claims should be due, please, turn to the specialist supplier from
whom you have acquired the device. Warranty claims may also be submitted directly to
Mobil in Time. The following warranty terms apply.
Warranty terms
1. When submitting warranty claims, the customer shall present the original invoice. The
serial number at the device must be legible.
2. Mobil in Time may decide at own discretion whether the warranty claim will be met by
repairing or by replacing the device or the faulty part. Any further claims are excluded.
3. Warranty repairs shall be executed by Mobil in Time. There is no claim to cost al-
lowance for repair carried out by other traders because no such repair or damage
originating to the device from such repair is covered by this warranty.
4. No warranty shall be granted for the following:
• Regular inspections, servicing and repair or replacing parts on account of normal
wear (heating elements, pump).
• Carriage and travel expenses or costs for assembling or dismantling the device.
• Abuse or misappropriated use of the device or wrong installation.
• Damage caused by lightning, water, fire, force majeure, war, wrong mains voltage,
insufficient ventilation or other reasons for which Mobil in Time is not responsible.
5. This warranty is related to the product and can be claimed within the warranty period
by any person who has legally acquired the device.

Mobile electric heating
The prerequisite for safe handling and trouble-free operation of the mobile electric heating
is familiarity with the basic safety instructions and regulations. In addition, observe any
applicable local rules and regulations on the prevention of accidents.
This manual contains important notes on how to safely operate the mobile electric heating
and, hence, has to be considered by all staff.
Warnings are initiated in this manual by signal words representing the magnitude of the
danger.

2. Act prudently to avoid injury, damage or accidents.

Indicates an imminently dangerous situation that, if not avoided, will result in death or
severe injury.
WARNING!

Hazard by electric power
Fatal injury may be caused by electric power but avoided by the following measures:
• Only qualified electricians or other suitably qualified staff may work on the power supply.
• The power equipment of the mobile electric heating must be checked regularly. Any
loose connections or damaged cables and wires shall be removed immediately.
• Pull the mains plug before working on the power equipment of the mobile electric
heating.
Danger by burns and scalds
Burns and scalds are very painful but can be prevented by the following measures:
• Only professional staff with special knowledge and experience in heating engineering
may work on heating facilities.
• Before commencing work, make sure with a temperature gauge that the temperature
in conduits outside of the device, in hose couplings and the automatic vent is less than
60 °C. If the temperature cannot be lowered, cover relevant parts with heat-resistant
cloth.
Danger of tripping or falling
Hoses, conduits and cables connected to the mobile electric heating may cause tripping
or falling. This can be prevented by the following measures:
• Apply any hoses, conduits and cables in such a way that they do not pose a risk. If this
is not possible, attach marks on the floor.
Dirt, leaked water or scattered objects may also cause slipping, tripping or falling. This
can be prevented by the following measures:
• Remove any dirt or leaked water after working on the mobile electric heating.
• Return scattered objects to their proper place or put them aside.
If the mobile electric heating is supposed to be brought into elevated or lower areas, the
hand cart may be obstructed by objects located in the way and tilt over. Prevent accidents by providing for free access for the hand cart.

Mobile electric heating
The mobile electric heating heats water up to 90 °C and circulates it.
Modes of operation
The mobile electric heating can be operated in the Circulating or the Circulating and Heating mode.
In the Circulating mode only the pump is switched on. The heating stages 1 and 2 are
switched off.
In the Circulating and Heating mode the pump and heating stage 1 and, perhaps, heating
stage 2 are switched on.
The mobile electric heating is available in five different models.
• Model 9: 8.4 kW
• Model 15: 14.4 kW
• Model 22: 21.6 kW
• Model 36: 36 kW
All models are powered by 400 V three-phase + neutral.
Mobil in Time reserves the right to change the technical data and features of its models
without previous announcement.

The control thermostat helps define the setpoint temperature of the hot-water generator.
If both power selectors are switched on, the displayed stages correspond to the following
temperatures:
1 = approx. 20 ° C
2 = approx. 40 ° C
3 = approx. 60 ° C
4 = approx. 70 ° C
5 = approx. 80 ° C

Mobile electric heating
Make sure before transporting the mobile electric heating that the tyres of the hand cart
are filled with sufficient pressure.
Store the mobile electric heating in a weather-protected, frost-free room.
• Air temperature of +5 ° to +45 ° C
• Relative humidity of 20 to 70%
• No condensation
Send any packaging materials to recycling.
