2 Safety instructions

2.1 General safety

z Only connect the device as follows:

– With the cable supplied to the cigarette lighter in the vehicle (see fig. 3,

page 3, item 1).

– Or with the connection cable supplied (see fig. 3, page 3, item 2) to the

220-240 V AC mains power supply.

z Do not pull the plug out of the cigarette lighter or the socket by the cable.

z If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent

possible electrical hazards.

z Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.

z This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate

repairs can lead to considerable hazards.

z Pull out the connection cable:

– Before cleaning and maintenance
– After use

z Ensure that the ventilation slots are not covered.

z On boats: if the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the power

supply has a ground fault interrupter circuit. Danger of fatal injuries!

z Disconnect the cooling device and other power consuming devices from

the battery before connecting the quick charging device.

z Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corresponds to that

of the energy supply.

z The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or

materials containing solvents.

Electronic devices are not toys.

Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children.

2.2 Operating the device safely

z Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the plug

are dry.

z Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat sources

(heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).

z Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.

z Never immerse the device in water.

z Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.

z Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This especially

applies when operating the device with the AC mains: danger of fatal
injuries!

z MOBICOOL cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper

usage or incorrect operation.

3 Scope of delivery

Before starting the device check if all of the parts belonging to the scope of
delivery are present.

4 Intended use

The cooler is suitable for cooling foodstuffs. The device is also suitable for
camping.

The device has been designed for use with a 12 V DC on-board
power supply socket of a car (cigarette lighter), boat or caravan.
The device can also be connected to the 220-240 V AC mains
power supply.

If you wish to cool medicines, please check if the cooling capacity of the
device is suitable for the medicine in question.

The handle has a locking function, which means that the lid will only open
when the handle is folded all the way back.

When opening the lid, make sure that the lugs on the side of it
audibly and completely latch into the handle, which is folded all the
way back, in order to prevent the lid from snapping shut.

5 Technical description

The cooler is suitable for mobile use. It can cool down or keep products cool
up to max. 20 °C below ambient temperature.

Its cooling system is a non-wearing and CFC-free Peltier cooling, the heat is
discharged by a fan.

5.1 Description of the device

6 Operation

Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic
reasons (please also refer to the “Cleaning and maintenance”
chapter on page 10).

Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.

6.1 Energy saving tips

z Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against

direct sunlight.

z Allow food to cool down first before placing it in the device.

z Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.

z Do not leave the lid or door open for longer than necessary.

6.2 Using the cooler

➤ Place the cooler on a firm base.

As is the case with every fridge, your cool box must be well venti­lated so that the heat which is withdrawn may also be carried off,
otherwise it is not possible for the equipment to function properly.

➤ Connect the 12 V connection cable (see fig. 3, page 3, item 1) to the

cigarette lighter or a 12 V socket in your vehicle or ...

➤ Connect the 220-240 V connection cable

(see fig. 3, page 3, item 2) to the 220-240 V AC mains supply.

Close the cooler by pushing down the lid and turning the handle
forward.

✓ After a certain period of time, the temperature inside the container will

cool down by up to max. approx. 20 °C.

Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for
cooling/warming to the selected temperature.

➤ If you wish to switch off the device, pull out the connecting cable.

7 Cleaning and maintenance

Caution!

Before cleaning the cooler, pull the cable out of the socket or the
cigarette lighter.

Caution!

Do not clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.

Caution!

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during clean­ing as these can damage the cooler.

➤ Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.

8 Disposal

➤ Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins

wherever possible.

If you wish to finally dispose of the device, ask your local recycling
centre or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in
accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.

9 Troubleshooting

Your cooler is not
working and the fan

flowing from the cig­arette lighter in your

vehicles for voltage to flow at the ciga­rette lighter.

2 Sicherheitshinweise

2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheit

z Schließen Sie das Gerät nur wie folgt an:

– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Anschlusskabel (siehe Abb. 3,

Seite 3, Pos. 1) an den Zigarettenanzünder im Fahrzeug.

– oder mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Anschlusskabel (siehe

Abb. 3, Seite 3, Pos. 2) an das 220–240-V-Wechselstromnetz

z Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus dem Zigaretten-

anzünder oder der Steckdose.

z Wenn das Anschlusskabel beschädigt ist, müssen Sie es ersetzen, um

Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

z Wenn das Gerät sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist, dürfen Sie es nicht

in Betrieb nehmen.

z Reparaturen an diesem Gerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt

werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren
entstehen.

z Ziehen Sie das Anschlusskabel

– vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege
– nach jedem Gebrauch

z Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsschlitze nicht abgedeckt werden.

z Bei Booten: Sorgen Sie bei Netzbetrieb unbedingt dafür, daß Ihre Strom-

versorgung über einen FI-Schalter abgesichert ist! Lebensgefahr!

z Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der Batterie ab,

bevor Sie ein Schnellladegerät anschließen!

z Vergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild mit der vor-

handenen Energieversorgung.

z Das Kühlgerät ist nicht geeignet für den Transport ätzender oder lösungs-

mittelhaltiger Stoffe!

Verwahren und Benutzen Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite

2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Gerätes

z Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und Stecker

trocken sind.

z Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder ande-

ren Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.)
ab.

z Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.

z Tauchen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser.

z Schützen Sie das Gerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.

z Fassen Sie nie mit bloßen Händen an blanke Leitungen. Dies gilt vor

allem beim Betrieb am Wechselstromnetz: Lebensgefahr!

z MOBICOOL haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch nicht bestimmungs-

gemäßen Gebrauch oder falsche Bedienung verursacht werden.

4 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Das Kühlgerät eignet sich zum Kühlen von Lebensmitteln. Das Gerät ist auch
für Camping-Zwecke geeignet.

Das Gerät ist für den Betrieb an einer 12-V-DC-Bordnetzsteckdose
eines Autos (Zigarettenanzünder), Boots oder Wohnmobils ausge­legt. Das Gerät kann zusätzlich an ein 220–240-V-Wechselstrom­netz angeschlossen werden.

Falls Sie Medikamente kühlen wollen, überprüfen Sie bitte, ob die Kühlleis­tung des Gerätes den Anforderungen der jeweiligen Arzneimittel entspricht.

Der Tragegriff hat eine Verschlussfunktion, d.h. nur wenn der Griff vollstän­dig nach hinten geklappt ist, lässt sich der Aggregatdeckel öffnen.

Bitte beachten Sie beim Öffnen des Aggregatdeckels, dass die
seitlichen „Nasen“ des Deckels hörbar an dem vollständig nach
hinten geklappten Tragegriff einrasten, um ein versehentliches
Zuschnappen des Deckels zu verhindern.

5 Technische Beschreibung

Die Kühlbox ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Sie kann Waren bis max.
20 °C unter Umgebungstemperatur abkühlen bzw. kühl halten.

Die Kühlung ist eine verschleiß- und FCKW-freie Peltierkühlung mit Wärme­abfuhr durch einen Lüfter.

6 Bedienung

Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es aus
hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten Tuch
reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“ auf Seite 18).

Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder geeigneten
Behältern eingelagert werden.

6.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen

z Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten

Einsatzort.

z Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie einlagern.

z Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig!

z Lassen Sie den Deckel oder die Tür nicht länger offen stehen als nötig!

6.2 Kühlbox verwenden

➤ Stellen Sie die Kühlbox auf eine feste Unterlage.

Wie jeder Kühlschrank muss Ihre Kühlbox einwandfrei belüftet
sein, damit die entzogene Wärme abgeführt werden kann, andern­falls ist eine ordnungsgemäße Funktion nicht gewährleistet.

Schließen Sie das 12-V-Anschlusskabel (siehe Abb. 3, Seite 3, Pos. 1) an
den Zigarettenanzünder oder eine 12-V-Steckdose im Fahrzeug an oder …

➤ Schließen Sie das 220–240-V-Anschlusskabel (siehe Abb. 3, Seite 3,

Pos. 2) an das 220–240-V-Wechselstromnetz an.

Verschließen Sie die Box fest, indem Sie den Aggregatdeckel wie­der zuklappen und den Tragegriff nach vorne drehen.

✓ Nach einem bestimmten Zeitraum wird die Temperatur im Innenraum des

Behälters um max. ca. 20 °C heruntergekühlt sein.

Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände bzw. Waren in der
Kühlbox befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt bzw.
erwärmt werden dürfen.

➤ Wenn Sie die Kühlbox außer Betrieb nehmen, ziehen Sie das Anschluss-

kabel ab.

Achtung!

Ziehen Sie vor jedem Reinigen der Kühlbox das Anschlusskabel
aus der Steckdose oder dem Zigarettenanzünder.

Achtung!

Reinigen Sie die Kühlbox niemals unter fließendem Wasser oder
gar im Spülwasser.

Achtung!

Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel
oder harten Gegenstände, da diese die Kühlbox beschädigen
können.

➤ Reinigen Sie das Gerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem feuchten

Tuch.

8 Entsorgung

➤ Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden

Recycling-Müll.

Wenn Sie das Gerät endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, informieren
Sie sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei Ihrem Fach­händler über die zutreffenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.

außen sichtbare Lüf­terrad dreht sich nicht.

An Ihrem Zigaretten­anzünder im Fahr­zeug liegt keine
Spannung an.

In den meisten Fahrzeugen muss der
Zündschalter eingeschaltet sein, damit
der Zigarettenanzünder Spannung hat.

Die Zündung ist einge­schaltet, und die Box
funktioniert nicht.
Ziehen Sie den Ste­cker aus der Steck­dose und nehmen Sie
folgende Prüfungen
vor.

Die Fassung des
Zigarettanzünders ist
verschmutzt. Das
hat einen schlech­ten elektrischen
Kontakt zur Folge.

Wenn Ihr Kühlboxstecker in der Zigaret­tenanzünderfassung sehr warm wird,
muss entweder die Fassung gereinigt
werden, oder der Stecker ist möglicher­weise nicht richtig zusammengebaut.

Die Sicherung des
Zigarettenanzünder­Steckers ist durchge­brannt.

Tauschen Sie die Sicherung (5 A) des
Zigarettenanzünder-Steckers (siehe
Abb. 4, Seite 4, Pos. A) aus.

Die Fahrzeug-Siche­rung ist durchge­brannt.

Tauschen Sie die Fahrzeug-Sicherung
des Zigarettenanzünders (üblicherweise
15 A) aus (Beachten Sie dazu die
Betriebsanweisungen zu Ihrem KFZ).

Ihre Box kühlt nicht
zufriedenstellend, und
das Lüfterrad außen
dreht sich nicht.

2 Consignes de sécurité

2.1 Sécurité générale

z Branchez l’appareil uniquement comme indiqué ci-dessous :

– en branchant le câble de raccordement fourni (voir ill. 3, page 3,

pos. 1) sur l’allume-cigares du véhicule.

– ou avec le câble de raccordement fourni (voir ill. 3, page 3, pos. 2) sur

le secteur à courant alternatif 220-240 V.

z Ne débranchez jamais l’appareil de l’allume-cigares ou de la prise en

tirant directement sur le câble de raccordement.

z Si le câble de raccordement est endommagé, vous devez le remplacer

afin d’éviter tout danger.

z Si l’appareil est visiblement endommagé, il est interdit de le mettre en

service.

z Seul un personnel qualifié est habilité à effectuer des réparations sur cet

appareil. Toute réparation mal effectuée risquerait d’entraîner de sérieux
dangers.

z Débranchez le câble de raccordement

– avant tout nettoyage et entretien
– après chaque utilisation

z Assurez-vous que les fentes d’aération ne sont pas recouvertes.
z Sur les bateaux : veillez à ce que votre alimentation électrique soit sécu-

risée par un disjoncteur différentiel si l’appareil est branché sur secteur !

z Débranchez de la batterie la glacière et les autres consommateurs

d’énergie avant de raccorder un chargeur rapide !

z Comparez la tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique avec l’alimenta-

2.2 Consignes de sécurité concernant l’utilisation de
l’appareil

z Avant de mettre l’appareil en service, assurez-vous que la ligne d’alimen-

tation électrique et la fiche sont sèches.

z Ne placez pas l’appareil près de flammes ou d’autres sources de chaleur

(chauffage, rayons solaires, fours à gaz, etc.).

z Ne pas remplir le bac intérieur de substances liquides ou de glace.
z Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau.
z Tenez l’appareil et les câbles à l’abri de la chaleur et de l’humidité.
z Ne touchez jamais les lignes électriques dénudées avec les mains nues.

Cette consigne s’applique tout particulièrement au fonctionnement sur
secteur : Danger de mort !

4 Usage conforme

L’appareil est conçu pour la réfrigération d’aliments. L’appareil convient éga­lement pour le camping.

L’appareil est conçu pour fonctionner sur une prise 12 V CC du
réseau de bord de votre voiture (allume-cigares), de votre bateau
ou de votre camping-car.
L’appareil peut en outre être branchée sur un secteur à courant
alternatif de 220-240 V.

Si vous souhaitez conserver au frais des médicaments, nous vous prions de
vérifier si la puissance frigorifique de l’appareil correspond à la température
de conservation recommandée pour les médicaments concernés.

La poignée de transport sert aussi de système de verrouillage : le couvercle
ne s’ouvre que lorsque la poignée est entièrement rabattue vers l’arrière.

Lorsque vous ouvrez le couvercle, vous devez entendre les
« becs » latéraux du couvercle s’enclencher dans la poignée
entièrement rabattue vers l’arrière, sans quoi le couvercle risque­rait de se refermer contre votre gré.

5 Description technique

La glacière convient à une utilisation mobile. Elle peut refrigérer et tenir au
frais des produits jusqu’à 20 °C en dessous de latempérature ambiante.

La réfrigération est assurée par effet Peltier, sans usure ni CFC, avec éva­cuation de la chaleur par ventilateur.

6 Utilisation

Avant de mettre en service la nouvelle glacière, vous devez, pour
des raisons d’hygiène, la nettoyer à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur à
l’aide d’un tissu humide (voir aussi chapitre « Nettoyage et entre­tien », page 26).

Les aliments ne peuvent être conservés que dans leurs emballa­ges originaux ou dans des récipients appropriés.

6.1 Comment économiser de l’énergie ?

z Choisissez un emplacement bien aéré et à l’abri du soleil.

z

Laissez refroidir les aliments chauds avant de les déposer dans la glacière.

z Ne pas ouvrir la glacière plus souvent que nécessaire !

z Ne pas laisser le couvercle ou la porte ouverts plus longtemps que

nécessaire !

6.2 Utilisation de la glacière

➤ Placez la glacière sur une surface stable.

Tout comme pour les réfrigérateurs, il est nécessaire de prévoir
une parfaite ventilation pour votre coffre réfrigérant pour assurer
la dissipation de la chaleur dégagée, sous peine d’un mauvais
fonctionnement de l’appareil.

➤ Raccordez le câble 12 V (voir ill. 3, page 3, pos. 1) sur l’allume-cigares ou

sur une prise 12 V dans le véhicule ou…

➤ Raccordez le câble 220-240 V

(voir ill. 3, page 3, pos. 2) au secteur à courant alternatif 220-240 V.

Fermez bien la glacière en refermant le couvercle et en tournant
la poignée vers l’avant.

✓ Au bout d’un certain temps, la température de l’intérieur du bac aura

chuté de 20 °C maximum.

Veillez à ne déposer dans la glacière que des objets ou des ali­ments pouvant être portés à la température sélectionnée.

➤ Lorsque vous mettez la glacière hors service, débranchez le câble de rac-

cordement.

7 Nettoyage et entretien

Attention !

Avant de nettoyer la glacière, retirez toujours son câble de la
prise ou de l’allume- cigares.

Attention !

Ne nettoyez jamais la glacière en y faisant couler de l’eau ou en la
plongeant dans l’eau.

Attention !

N’utilisez ni détergents abrasifs, ni objets durs pour le nettoyage,
ceux-ci pouvant endommager la glacière.

➤ Nettoyez de temps à autre l’appareil à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur avec un

chiffon humide.

8 Retraitement

➤ Jetez les emballages dans les conteneurs de déchets recyclables prévus

à cet effet.

Quand vous mettrez votre appareil définitivement hors service,
informez-vous auprès du centre de recyclage le plus proche sur
les prescriptions relatives au retraitement des déchets.
