from using the appliance safely should not use this appliance
without initial supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
z Electronic devices are not toys.
Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children.
z Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
z Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
z The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic mate-
rials or materials containing solvents.

z Warning!
Keep Ventilation opening, in the appliance enclosure or in the
built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
z Warning!
Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartment of the appliance.

z Only connect the device as follows:
– With the supplied mains rectifier to the 100–240 V AC mains
supply (S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC only)
– With the 12 V cable supplied to a 12 V socket
z Do not pull the plug out of the cigarette lighter or the socket by
the cable.
z If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced with the cable
of the same type and specifications.
z Pull out the connection cable:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
– After use
z Disconnect the cooler or switch it off when you turn off the
engine. Otherwise you may discharge the battery.
z On boats: if the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the
power supply has a ground fault interrupter circuit. Danger of
fatal injuries!
z Disconnect the cooling device and other power consuming
devices from the battery before connecting the quick charging
device.
z Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corres-
ponds to that of the energy supply.
1.2 Operating the device safely
a
z Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply cable
and the plug are dry.
z Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.)
z Caution! Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the
heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other
objects so that the air can circulate.

z Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
z Never immerse the device in water.
z Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
z A few water drops may form inside the cooler if it has been cool-
ing for a lengthy period. This is normal because the moisture in
the air condenses to water when the temperature in the cooler
falls. The cooler is not defective. Wipe it out with a dry cloth if
necessary.
z Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This espe-
cially applies when operating the device with an AC mains
power supply. Danger of fatal injuries!
z The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting
from improper usage or incorrect operation.
2 Intended use
The cooler is suitable for keeping cool foodstuffs.
The device has been designed for use with a 12 V DC on-board power supply
socket of a car (cigarette lighter), boat or caravan as well as a 100–240 V AC
mains supply (S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC only).
The appliance may also be used for camping use. The appliance shall not to
be exposed to rain.

If you wish to cool medicines, please check if the cooling capacity
of the device is suitable for the medicine in question.

4 Technical description
The cool bag is designed for mobile use. It can cool down or keep products
cool up to 15 °C below ambient temperature.
It can be folded together to a compact size when empty.
You can store the 12 V connection cable and the rectifier (S28 DC/AC,
S32 DC/AC only) in a pocket on the side (fig. 1, page 3).
Its cooling system is a non-wearing and CFC-free Peltier cooling, the heat is
discharged by a fan.

A single drinks bottle can be removed via the bottle hatch (fig. 2, page 3).
5 Operation

Note
Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (please also refer to the chapter “Cleaning and maintenance” on page 8).
Energy saving tips
z Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against
direct sunlight.
z Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the device to keep
cool.
z Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
z Do not leave the cool bag open for longer than necessary.

Note
Like every cooling device, your cool bag must be properly ventilated so that any heat created can dissipate. Otherwise proper functioning cannot be ensured.
➤ Connect the 12 V connection cable into the cigarette lighter socket or a
12 V socket in the vehicle.

➤ S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC only: connect the 12 V connection cable to the
rectifier (fig. 4, page 3) and plug rectifier into a 100–240 V AC socket.
✓ The cool bag starts cooling the interior.

Caution!
Ensure that the objects placed in the cool bag are suitable for cooling to the selected temperature.
➤ Disconnect the power cable to switch the device off.

➤ Fold up the bottom towards the handle, then fold the empty cool bag flat
and fasten it with the press studs.

Caution!
Before cleaning the cool bag, pull the cable out of the socket or the
cigarette lighter.

Caution!
Never clean the cool bag under running water or in dishwater.

Caution!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects for cleaning as
these can damage the cool bag.
➤ Occasionally wipe the inside and outside of the cool bag with a damp
cloth. Do not fold it away until it is completely dry.

➤ Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins
wherever possible.
If you wish to finally dispose of the device, ask your local recycling
centre or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.

Verwenden Sie keine elektrischen Geräte innerhalb des
Lebensmittelbehälters des Gerätes.

z Schließen Sie das Gerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Netzgleichrichter an
das 100–240-V-Wechselstromnetz (nur S28 DC/AC,
S32 DC/AC)
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen 12-V-Anschlusskabel
an eine 12-V-Steckdose
z Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus dem
Zigarettenanzünder oder der Steckdose.
z Wenn das Anschlusskabel beschädigt ist, müssen Sie es durch
ein Kabel desselben Typs und derselben Spezifikation ersetzen.
z Ziehen Sie das Anschlusskabel
– vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege
– nach jedem Gebrauch
z Wenn das Kühlgerät an der 12-V-Steckdocke angeschlossen
ist: Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie das Kühlgerät aus, wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst kann die Batterie entladen werden.
z Bei Booten: Sorgen Sie bei Netzbetrieb unbedingt dafür, dass
Ihre Stromversorgung über einen FI-Schalter abgesichert ist!
Lebensgefahr!
z Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der
Batterie ab, bevor Sie ein Schnellladegerät anschließen!
z Vergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild
mit der vorhandenen Energieversorgung.

1.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Gerätes
a
z Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und
Stecker trocken sind.
z Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen
oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
z Achtung Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme
ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass
das Gerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder Gegenständen steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann.
z Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
z Tauchen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser.
z Schützen Sie das Gerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.
z Ein paar Wassertropfen können sich im Inneren des Kühl-
gerätes absetzen, wenn es längere Zeit gekühlt hat. Dies ist
normal, weil die Feuchtigkeit in der Luft zu Wassertropfen kondensiert, wenn die Temperatur im Kühlgerät abkühlt. Das Kühlgerät ist nicht defekt. Wischen Sie es ggf. mit einem trockenen
Tuch aus.
z Fassen Sie nie mit bloßen Händen an blanke Leitungen. Dies
gilt vor allem beim Betrieb am Wechselstromnetz: Lebens-
gefahr!
z Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch oder falsche Bedienung
verursacht werden.

2 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Kühlgerät eignet sich zum Kühlhalten von Lebensmitteln.
Das Gerät ist für den Betrieb an einer 12-V-DC-Bordnetzsteckdose eines
Autos (Zigarettenanzünder), Boots oder Wohnmobils sowie an einem
100–240-V-Wechselstromnetz (nur S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC) ausgelegt.
Das Gerät ist auch für Camping-Zwecke geeignet. Das Gerät darf keinem
Regen ausgesetzt werden.

Achtung!
Falls Sie Medikamente kühlen wollen, überprüfen Sie bitte, ob die
Kühlleistung des Gerätes den Anforderungen der jeweiligen
Arzneimittel entspricht.
3Lieferumfang
4 Technische Beschreibung
Die Kühltasche ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Sie kann Waren bis
max. 15 °C unter Umgebungstemperatur kühl halten.
Leer kann die Kühltasche klein zusammengefaltet werden.
Das 12-V-Anschlusskabel und den Netzgleichrichter (nur S28 DC/AC,
S32 DC/AC) können Sie in einer Tasche an der Seite verstauen (Abb. 1,
Seite 3).
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleiß- und FCKW-freie Peltierkühlung mit Wärmeabfuhr durch einen Lüfter.

Eine einzelne Getränkeflasche kann über die Flaschenluke (Abb. 2,
Seite 3) entnommen werden.

Hinweis!
Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es
aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten
Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“ auf
Seite 17).
Tipps zum Energiesparen
z Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten
Einsatzort.
z Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Gerät kühl
halten.
z Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig!
z Lassen Sie die Kühltasche nicht länger offen stehen als nötig!
Kühltasche verwenden

Hinweis!
Wie jedes Kühlgerät muss die Kühltasche einwandfrei belüftet
sein, damit die entzogene Wärme abgeführt werden kann, andernfalls ist eine ordnungsgemäße Funktion nicht gewährleistet.
➤ Schließen Sie das 12-V-Anschlusskabel an den Zigarettenanzünder oder
eine 12-V-Steckdose im Fahrzeug an.

➤ Nur S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC: Verbinden Sie das 12-V-Anschlusskabel
mit dem Netzgleichrichter (Abb. 4, Seite 3) und stecken Sie den Netzgleichrichter in eine 100 –240-V-Steckdose.
✓ Die Kühltasche startet mit dem Kühlen des Innenraums.

Achtung!
Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände bzw. Waren in der
Kühltasche befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt
werden dürfen.
➤ Zum Ausschalten ziehen Sie das Anschlusskabel ab.

Kühltasche zusammenlegen
➤ Klappen Sie den Boden in Richtung Griff hoch, dann können Sie die leere
Kühltasche flach zusammenlegen und mit den Druckknöpfen fixieren.

Achtung!
Ziehen Sie vor jedem Reinigen der Kühltasche das Anschlusskabel
aus der Steckdose oder dem Zigarettenanzünder.

Achtung!
Reinigen Sie die Kühltasche niemals unter fließendem Wasser
oder gar im Spülwasser.
a
Achtung!
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel
oder harten Gegenstände, da diese die Kühltasche beschädigen
können.
➤ Reinigen Sie die Kühltasche innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem
feuchten Tuch und legen Sie sie erst im völlig getrockneten Zustand zusammen.

➤ Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden
Recycling-Müll.
Wenn Sie das Gerät endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, informieren Sie
sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei Ihrem Fachhändler
über die zutreffenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.

An der 12-Volt-Steckdose (Zigarettenanzünder) im
Fahrzeug liegt keine

In den meisten Fahrzeugen muss der
Zündschalter eingeschaltet sein, damit
der Zigarettenanzünder Spannung hat.
Die Wechselspannungs-Steckdose führt
keine Spannung

).
Versuchen Sie es an einer anderen
Steckdose.
Die Box kühlt nicht
(Stecker ist eingesteckt).
Der Innenlüfter oder
das Kühlelement ist
defekt.
Die Reparatur kann nur von einem
zugelassenen Kundendienstbetrieb
durchgeführt werden.
Betrieb an der 12-VSteckdose (Zigarettenanzünder):
Die Zündung ist eingeschaltet, und die Box funktioniert nicht.
Ziehen Sie den Stecker
aus der Steckdose und
nehmen Sie folgende
Prüfungen vor.
Die Fassung des Zigarettenanzünders ist
verschmutzt. Das hat
einen schlechten elektrischen Kontakt zur
Folge.
Wenn Ihr Kühlboxstecker in der
Zigarettenanzünderfassung sehr warm
wird, muss entweder die Fassung
gereinigt werden, oder der Stecker ist

z Branchez l’appareil uniquement comme indiqué ci-dessous :
– avec le redresseur au courant alternatif 100–240 V (unique-
ment S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC)
– en branchant le câble de raccordement 12 V fourni sur une
prise secteur 12 V
z Ne débranchez jamais l'appareil de l'allume-cigares ou de la pri-
se en tirant directement sur le câble de raccordement.
z Si le câble de raccordement est endommagé, vous devez le
remplacer par un câble de même type et de même spécification.
z Débranchez le câble de raccordement
– avant tout nettoyage et entretien
– après chaque utilisation
z Débranchez ou éteignez le réfrigérateur lorsque vous éteignez
le moteur. Dans le cas contraire, il se pourrait que la batterie se
décharge.
z Sur les bateaux : veillez à ce que votre alimentation électrique
soit sécurisée par un disjoncteur différentiel si l'appareil est
branché sur secteur ! Danger de mort !
z Débranchez de la batterie la glacière et les autres consomma-
teurs d'énergie avant de raccorder un chargeur rapide !
z Comparez la tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique avec
l'alimentation électrique dont vous disposez.

1.2 Consignes de sécurité concernant l’utilisation de
l’appareil

z Avant de mettre l’appareil en service, assurez-vous que la ligne
d'alimentation électrique et la fiche sont sèches.
z Ne placez pas l’appareil près de flammes ou d'autres sources
de chaleur (chauffage, rayons solaires, fours à gaz, etc.).
z Attention, danger de surchauffe !
Veillez toujours à ce que la chaleur produite lors du fonctionnement soit suffisamment dissipée.
z Ne remplissez pas le bac intérieur de substances liquides ou de
glace.
z Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau.
z Tenez l’appareil et les câbles à l'abri de la chaleur et de l’humi-
dité.
z Quelques gouttes d'eau ont pu se former à l'intérieur du réfrigé-
rateur s'il a été utilisé pendant un temps assez long. Ceci est
normal, car l'humidité de l'air se condense en gouttes d'eau lorsque la température refroidit dans le réfrigérateur. Le réfrigérateur n'est pas défectueux. Essuyez-le éventuellement avec un
chiffon sec.
z Ne touchez jamais les lignes électriques dénudées avec les
mains nues. Cela est surtout valable en cas de fonctionnement
sur secteur : danger de mort !
z Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommages
provoqués par une utilisation non-conforme de l'appareil ou
par des erreurs de manipulation.

L'appareil est conçu pour la réfrigération d'aliments.
L'appareil est conçu pour fonctionner sur une prise 12 VCC du réseau de
bord de votre voiture (allume-cigares), de votre bateau ou de votre campingcar ainsi que sur le secteur à courant alternatif de 100–240 V (uniquement
S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC).
L’appareil convient également au camping. L'appareil ne doit pas être exposé à la pluie.

Si vous souhaitez conserver au frais des médicaments, nous vous
prions de vérifier si la puissance frigorifique de l'appareil correspond à la température de conservation recommandée pour le médicament.

4 Description technique
Le sac isotherme convient pour une utilisation mobile. Il peut tenir au frais
des produits jusqu'à 15 °C en dessous de la température ambiante.
Il peut être replié pour un moindre encombrement à vide.
Le câble de raccordement 12 V et le redresseur (uniquement S28 DC/AC,
S32 DC/AC) peuvent se ranger dans une poche latérale (1, page 3).
La réfrigération est assurée par effet Peltier, sans usure ni CFC, avec éva-
cuation de la chaleur par ventilateur.

Le couvercle compartimenté (2, page 3) permet l'extraction d'une bouteille
à la fois.

Remarque
Avant de mettre en service le réfrigérateur neuf, vous devez, pour
des raisons d’hygiène, le nettoyer à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur à
l’aide d’un tissu humide (voir aussi chapitre « Nettoyage et entretien », page 26).
Comment économiser de l'énergie ?
z Choisissez un emplacement bien aéré et à l'abri du soleil.
z Laissez refroidir les aliments chauds avant de les déposer dans la
glacière.
z Ne pas ouvrir la glacière plus souvent que nécessaire !
z Ne laissez pas le sac ouvert plus longtemps que nécessaire !
Utilisation du sac isotherme

Remarque
Comme tout appareil de réfrigération, le sac isotherme doit être
parfaitement ventilé afin que la chaleur dégagée soit évacuée,
sans quoi un fonctionnement correct ne saurait être garanti.
➤ Raccordez le câble 12 V sur l'allume-cigares ou sur une prise 12 V dans
le véhicule.
ou...
➤ Uniquement pour S28 DC/AC, S32 DC/AC: raccordez le câble de rac-
cordement 12 V au redresseur (4, page 3) et raccordez le redresseur à
une prise secteur 100–240 V.
✓ Le sac commence par la réfrigération du compartiment intérieur.

Attention !
Veillez à ne déposer dans le sac que des objets ou des aliments
qui peuvent être réfrigérés ou congelés à la température
sélectionnée.
➤ Pour éteindre, débranchez le câble de raccordement.
Plier le sac isotherme
➤ Rabattez le fond du sac en direction de la poignée, vous pouvez alors
plier le sac vide à plat et le fixer grâce aux boutons-pression.

Attention !
Avant de nettoyer le sac, retirez toujours le câble de la prise ou de
l’allume-cigares.

Ne nettoyez jamais le sac en y faisant couler de l'eau ou en le plongeant dans l’eau.

Attention !
N’utilisez ni détergents abrasifs, ni objets durs pour le nettoyage,
ceux-ci pouvant endommager le sac isotherme.
➤ Nettoyez de temps à autre l'intérieur et l'extérieur du sac isotherme à
l'aide d'un chiffon humide et pliez-le lorsqu'il est sec.
7 Dépannage

Fonctionnement au
niveau de Prise 12 V
(allume-cigares) :
Le contact est mis,
mais l'appareil ne fonctionne pas.
Retirez la fiche de la
prise, puis procédez
aux contrôles suivants.
La prise de l'allume-cigares
est sale. Ceci entraîne un
mauvais contact électrique.
Si la fiche devient très chaude
lorsqu'elle est branchée dans la
prise de l'allume-cigares, c'est que
la prise de l'allume-cigares doit être
nettoyée ou que la fiche n'est pas
bien montée.
Le fusible de la prise 12 V est
grillé.
Remplacez le fusible (5 A) de la
prise 12 V (3 1, page 3).
Le fusible du véhicule correspondant à l'allume-cigares est
grillé.
Remplacez le fusible du véhicule
correspondant à la prise 12 V (normalement 15 A) (veuillez respecter les instructions du manuel
d'entretien de votre véhicule).
