– With the cable supplied (fig. 2, page3) to the cigarette
lighter in the vehicle or a 12 V plug socket in the vehicle
z Do not pull the plug out of the 12 V socket by the cable.
z If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced with the cable
of the same type and specifications.
z Pull out the connection cable:
– Before cleaning and maintenance – After use
z If the cooler is connected to the 12 V plug socket: disconnect
the cable or switch off the cooler when you turn off the engine. Otherwise the battery may be discharged.
z On boats: if the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the
power supply has a ground fault interrupter circuit. Danger of
fatal injuries!
z Disconnect the cooling device and other power consuming
devices from the battery before connecting the quick charging device.
z Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corres-
ponds to that of the energy supply.
