INSTALLATION
1. Do not install tire swing over concrete, asphalt, packed earth, or any other hard surface. See last page for more
information on proper protective surfacing material.
2. Conrm that the supporting structure is secure, it will support at least 175 pounds, is over level ground, has a
minimum height of 7 feet and is no less than 6 feet on all sides from vertical elements. Tire swing should have a
clearance of at least 1.5 x the total length of all the chain measured from the tree limb/horizontal beam to the metal
swivel spinner attachment point.
3. Tree Limb Assembly - Test tree limb to ensure that it will hold the weight limit of 175 pounds safely. Obtain
additional rope to attach the tire swing to the horizontal (limb) support. The rope used should not be less than the
quality, durability and strength of UV stabilized, 1/2 inch twisted or synthetic waterproof rope. Form a small noose
at one end of your rope and throw it over the tree limb. Run the other end of rope through the noose you created
and tighten rmly. Run the end of rope through the, top opening of the metal swivel spinner. Tie a minimum of TWO
tight knots rmly. Bottom of swing should be no more than 24 inches and no less than 18 inches from the ground.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. An adult should supervise
play on this product for
children of all ages.
2. Only for family domestic
outdoor use.
3. Dress children appropriately, including wearing
well-tting shoes that fully
protect feet.
4. Instruct children: • To avoid
swinging empty seats or
swings. • To not swing higher
than hook attachment. • Get
o the swing only after it has completely stopped and to hold the chain until both feet are planted rmly on the
ground. • To remove articles before playing on equipment that create hazards when they get tangled and caught
(examples include: ponchos, scarves, and other loose-tting clothing, bike or other sports helmets). • Not to walk
close to, in front of, behind, or between moving items.
DO NOT walk in front or behind
swing while in motion
WARNING: Never swing higher than hook attachment
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION
Carefully cut and discard of three zip ties securing chain assembly to tire. Discard cut zip ties. Layout chain and identify parts. Order them from highest hanging point to lowest:
1. Swivel Spinner 4. Washer
2. Carabiner 5. Eye Bolt
3. Chain/ S-Hook/ Eye Nut
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. At the beginning of each play season and at least twice monthly during usage, check all moving parts for wear,
rust, or other deterioration. Replace as needed.
2. Take swing indoors when the temperature drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. WARNING: Failure to carry out
these checks and inspections could result in a fall or injury.
4. Swing Set or other Horizontal Beam Assembly - Attach the tire swing to a swing set by removing two sets of
swings from the existing swing set and attach the swivel spinner to the chain support hook using the supplied
carabiner. Allow 1.5x the total length of the chain to the swivel spinner of clearance on each side of the swing from
stationary objects or other swinging elements of any kind. Bottom of swing should be no more than 24 inches and
no less than 18 inches from the ground.
1. Unthread eye nuts and washer from each of the three eye bolts.
2. Place tire on at surface with the three eye bolts holes facing up. (See
at right.)
3. With the washer placed over the eye bolt, insert eye bolt into one of
the holes from the bottom side. Now thread the eye nut (with s-hook
and chain) onto the eye bolt. Check to see that the eye nut is fully threaded onto the eye bolt. Tighten securely.
4. Repeat step 3 with remaining eye bolt assemblies at the two
remaining insertion points.
5. Hold swing as if it were hanging/installing. Make sure chains are
straight and uncrossed from the eye bolts to the carabiner. If the chains
are crossing or twisted with another chain, unhook chains from carabiner
and reattach to carabiner in proper order to keep chains on direct path
from tire to carbineer.
6. Check all connection points at swivel spinner, carabiner, s-hooks, and
eyebolts to make sure they are securely fastened.
7. Proper height adjustment of your swing must be made before use.
Depending on height of hanging point you may need to adjust chain link
placement in carabiner. Attach all three chains at same link placement so
swing hangs level or parallel with ground at link level consistent across
all 3 chains to reach desired hanging height. REMINDER: Bottom of swing
should be no more than 24 inches and no less than 18 inches from
ground.
