5. Do not use this apparatus near water.

7.Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
winder than the other. The wide blade is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into
your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

10.Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or
sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination
to avoid injury from tip-over.

13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture,
does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

15. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or
moisture.

16. Where an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain
readily operable.

17. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as
newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.

18. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

19. The apparatus should be used in moderate climate.

20.The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids,
such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within the equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the use to the presence of un-insulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure
that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

The exclamation point within the equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of important operation and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature
accompanying this appliance.

Introduction

Features

The MXR-2 is a compact club mixer that combines all essential features required by a discerning DJ.
It sports 2 stereo channels and a microphone input in a clear and intuitive layout. A comprehensive
prelistening section eases to properly line up tracks for replay. Setting it apart from any other mixers in
its category, it also features a studio-grade USB 2-deck sound card with 24-Bit/96kHz converters and low
latency ASIO drivers, thus integrating it perfectly into a DVS (digital vinyl system).
As a great benefit to creative mixing, the MXR-2 includes a digital effects processor which can add 7
different effects to the main output signal, including stunning filter effects.
Effects can be synchronized to the music tempo by the auto-BPM counter, thus providing the most
creative and intuitive approach to correct effect timing. With it’s compact size, sturdy construction and
advanced feature set, the MXR-2 is easily one of the best compact DJ mixers available.

FX – User Interface

1 4-Digit 7-Segment Display. Shows the Master BPM value in normal

operation, regardless of whether being calculated automatically or via the
TAP button (4). Once changing to a new effect via the FX-SEL button (5),
the new effect name’s abbreviation is displayed for 2 seconds. Likewise,
if a paremater change is initiated by the PARAMETER control (7), the
display will show the current setting for 2 seconds before returning to
display the BPM value. See below table for effect names and parameters.

2 SYNC Indicator. Indicates whether the effect is synchronized to the
displayed BPM value (indicator on), to a mutiple or a fraction of the
displayed BPM value (indicator flashing) or not synchronized to the
displayed BPM value. On start-up, SYNC is off and can be activated via
the SYNC button (6). Once SYNC is active, it can be de-activated by
pressing the SYNC button (6) for more than 2 seconds. Note that SYNC
does not apply to all effect, since not all effects work with a time
parameter (like SPS, FAT and VOC).

3 Active effect indicator. One of the 7 LEDs is lit to display which of the
effects is chosen. The choice can be alterd by consecutively pressing the
FX-SEL button (5) until the desired effect is active.

4 TAP button. While the unit is equipped with an automatic BPM counter,
some music material may be too complex for a good automatic analysis.
In this case, the TAP button overrides the automatic result. To override
the automatic result with a TAP result, tap along with the music for more
than 4 beats; the display will start to show the average value. The longer
you tap, the more precise the result will be. To switch back automatic
BPM analysis, press the TAP button once. Both in automatic or manual
mode, the tap button will flash by its red backlight LED with the speed of
the displayed value. The start-up BPM value is set to 120.00.

5 FX-SEL button. Selects the active effect. Press this button
consecutively until the active effect indicator (3) shows the desired effect
to be active.

6 SYNC button. Toggles between synchronization of effects and master signal BPM value, and non­synchronization. The status is indicated by the SYNC indicator (1). SYNC is off on start-up, to activate the
SYNC function, press this button once. To deactivate SYNC, press the button for longer than 2 seconds.
Note that when SYNC is on, the synchronization can be shifted to multiples or fractions of the master BPM
value by means of the FX-PARAMETER control (7). Once the synchronization is shifted to a multiple or
fraction, the SYNC indicator (2) will flash.

7 PARAMETER control. Allows to change a key paramater of the active effect. Once the control is turned,
the current value of the parameter is shown in the display (2). After altering the parameters’ value, the
display will return to show the BPM value if no further paramater change is made for more than 2
seconds. The parameter which can be altered by this control depends on the effect, refer to below table
for details.

8 FX MIX control. Depending on the effect, this control changes the intensity of the effect or the dry/wet
ration between the original signal and the effect signal. Refer to below table for details on the alteration
of the effects by this control.

9 FX ON button. Enables the active effects (backlight on) or disables the current effect (backlight off).

10. Protégez le cordon d'alimentation d'être piétiné ou pincé, particulièrement au niveau des fiches,
de la commodité récipients, et le point où ils sortent de l'appareil.

11. Utilisez uniquement des fixations / accessoires spécifiés par le fabricant.

12. Utilisez uniquement avec le chariot, stand, trépied, support ou table spécifié par le fabricant, ou
vendu avec l'appareil. Quand un chariot est utilisé, faites attention en déplaçant l'ensemble chariot /
appareil pour éviter les blessures en cas de chute.

13. Débranchez cet appareil pendant les orages ou lorsqu'il est inutilisé pendant de longues périodes de
temps.

14. Confiez toute réparation à un personnel qualifié. Une réparation est nécessaire lorsque l'appareil a été
endommagé de quelque façon que ce cordon d'alimentation ou la fiche est endommagé, du liquide a été
renversé ou des objets sont tombés dans l'appareil, l'appareil a été exposé à la pluie ou à l'humidité, ne
fonctionne pas normalement, ou est tombé.

15. AVERTISSEMENT: Pour réduire le risque d'incendie ou de choc électrique, ne pas exposer cet
appareil à la pluie ou à l'humidité.

16. Où le coupleur d'appareil est utilisé comme dispositif de déconnexion, le dispositif de déconnexion
doit rester facilement accessible.

L'éclair avec le symbole de flèche dans le triangle équilatéral est destiné à alerter
l'utilisation de la présence de non-isolé "tension dangereuse" dans l'enceinte du produit
qui peut être d'une ampleur suffisante pour constituer un risque de choc électrique.

Le point d'exclamation dans un triangle équilatéral est destiné à alerter l'utilisateur de la
présence d'opération et de maintenance (entretien) dans la littérature accompagnant
cet appareil.

Pour réduire le risque d'incendie ou de choc électrique, ne pas exposer cet appareil à la pluie ou à
l'humidité. La appareil ne doit pas être exposé à des éclaboussures et aucun objet rempli de liquide,

Le MXR-2 est un mixer club compact qui combine toutes les caractéristiques essentielles requises par un
DJ exigeants. Il dispose de 2 canaux stéréo et une entrée microphone dans une mise en page claire et
intuitive. Une section complète de Prelistening facilite bien aligner les pistes à lire.
Ce qui le distingue de tous les autres mixers dans sa catégorie, il dispose également d'un 2-deck sound­card de qualité studio USB avec 24-Bit / convertisseurs de 96 kHz et une faible latence des pilotes ASIO,
intégrant ainsi parfaitement dans un DEP (système de vinyle numérique).
Comme un grand avantage pour le mixing-créatif, le MXR-2 comprend un processeur d'effets numériques
qui peuvent ajouter des 7 effets différents pour le signal de sortie principale, y compris les effets de filtre
imprenable. Les effets peuvent être synchronisés au tempo de la musique par le compteur de BPM
automatique, offrant ainsi l'approche la plus créative et intuitive pour corriger le calendrier de l'effet.
Avec sa taille compacte, construction robuste et avancé ensemble de fonctionnalités, le MXR-2 est
