1. APPLICATIONS
This manual explains the contactless smart card readers "RDFL - B03H", "RDFL - B03 BLE" and
RDFL-B03BLES which are readers exclusively for the card key of the hotel card lock "ALV2". These will
manage guest rooms and hotel facilities.

2. SUMMARY
2-1.Contactless Smart Card Reader
(1) It is a card reader dedicated to the entrance of the hotel card lock "ALV2" which reads and
outputs Mifare card or smartphone authentication key.
(2) When using a contactless smart card or a smartphone authentication key issued from an issuing
device installed in the front desk, various information such as a hotel code and a room number
are collated with the stored data. If it is confirmed that the card is valid, it outputs a signal to the
external system.

4. Detail of function
(1) Bring a card key or smartphone close to the contactless smart card reader.
(2) The contactless smart card reader reads the key data and if the data accords with the database,
signal is sent the external system.
Collation data:
1) Hotel code
2) Validity of the card key or authentication key. (from check-in time to check-out time)
3) Room number of the key.
(3)If the card key is valid, the LED lights blue. In case of invalid card key, the LED lights red.
