new standards in picture quality.
Anywhere up-to-date, precise visual information is needed,
display cubes are the first choice. In control rooms, surveillance
systems or information boards the latest Mitsubishi technology
guarantees the best image quality along with easy operation
and high flexibility. All Display Cubes show their strengths equally,
whether used as individual units or arranged in a display wall.
With a brightness of up to 1000 cd/m2 (bright mode), XGA or
SXGA+ resolution and a contrast of up to 1600:1, Mitsubishi
Display Cubes stand out even in daylight environments. And
when you don’t need the full brightness power, you can switch to
normal mode, to the benefit of the lamp’s service life. No need to
worry that so much brightness will leave its mark on the screen:
even in the case of long-term static images, DLP™ technology
prevents burn-in and image retention.

The new Display Cubes
make excellent team players.
No more color differences or inconsistent brightness in images
shown across several display cubes. The digital Color Space
Control circuit compensates for color and brightness discrepan-
cies. And Dynamic Brightness Balancing ensures that brightness
remains uniform, even over a longer period of operation.
After a lamp change, the Smart Lamp System recognizes the
brightness of the new lamp and the Display Cubes automatically
match their brightness with the others. The status of each Display
Cube is always in view: the front LED status display not only
instantly informs you of a problem, it also indicates ways to
solve it.

Space-saving technology.
Based on an optimization of the optical system, a shorter pro-
jection distance has been achieved. In combination with the
Display Cubes’ rear projection technology, this has greatly
reduced the depth of the units.
Technology highlights without reflections.
Mitsubishi screens minimize spurious reflections. The use of a
new coating gives the Display Cubes an extremely sharp, high-
contrast picture with unexcelled brightness uniformity. The
viewing angle has also been improved, making the picture visible
even from extreme angles. And screen-to-screen gap widths
of just 1 or 2 mm respectively guarantee you multiple-display
projections with constant brilliance and hardly noticeable
breaks.

You decide how big your Display Cube should be: 50 or
67 inches. This gives you maximum flexibility when installing
individual Display Cubes or a display wall.
Naturally, the VS-67XL50U has the same excellent character-
istics as its little brother.

The 50-inch basic model.
Experience natural color characteristics across the full display.
The 12-bit dither circuit guarantees smooth images and truly
natural gradation. Perfect rendering of both bright and dark
areas produces precise halftones.
Sometimes what you don’t see is just as important: cabling
ducts on the rear side enable easy wiring during installation
and maintenance.

The lamp changer, available in two sizes.
If you need to avoid long image downtime under any circum-
stances, Speed Lamp Swap gives you the technology to
play it safe. If the original lamp expires, a spare lamp is
switched on automatically, taking the place of the original
lamp. The image reappears in less than 10 seconds – of
course, in the same excellent Display Cube image quality.
Now lamp changers are available in two screen sizes:
50 and 67 inch for large-scale reliability.

VS-50XLF50U (50", XGA resolution)
50-inch display with front maintenance.
Nobody likes to have their back to the wall. And with the
VS-50XLF50U you don’t have to. All controls and connections
are positioned on the front, making it simplicity itself to access
this Display Cube.
Front maintenance isn’t just convenient, it also saves space by
allowing you to mount the Display Cube directly on the wall –
whether a single display or an entire wall. A special ventilation
system prevents overheating.

VS-50PH50U/ VS-67PH50U (50" / 67", SXGA+ resolution)
One of the highest-resolution Display Cubes you’ve ever seen.
PH-series Display Cubes have a whole range of technical
highlights. The native SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels)
and high 1600:1 contrast give an incredibly sharp image,
which shows off to its best advantage with an intense
brightness of up to 1000 cd/m2.
Smart Lamp Control automatically adjusts color and
brightness, making PH Display Cubes very low-mainte-
nance. Lamp change is automatic and takes only about
10 seconds.
Whether individual Display Cube or entire wall: the image
quality remains consistently high. Innovative Light Tunnel
Design protects the optical unit from dust so the large,
brilliant picture of the 50 or 67-inch model will stay bright
for a long time.

Display Cubes are best connected via an optional scaling board
or optional video input board. They enable you to configure the
projection of large images across multiple cubes. Digital connections
also allow for a variety of wall configurations using daisy chain links.
