Preface: Introduction to Mobile Computing
Your Michley-Tivax MiTraveler 3D-8 ® tablet is a full-featured, state-of-the-art Android
tablet computer – with a very special added attribute, 3D! If you are new to the world of
Android ‘smart’ devices, we encourage you to use resources available online, in
bookstores, or in libraries to become familiar with the general characteristics, terminology
and capabilities of mobile computing devices and the Wi-Fi networks that support them.
Much of what you learn will apply to both tablets and Android smartphones, an added
benefit. Remember, the more you learn about your Android tablet, the more enjoyment
you’ll get as you explore its many exciting features.
Michley-Tivax recommends the resources below to get you started with Android mobile
computing:
We have designed your MiTraveler 3D-8 tablet to provide the ultimate multi-media experience, in both
high-definition 2D as well as 3D. Your gateway to multi-media is the 3D Media Player that comes
standard with your 3D-8 tablet. The accompanying Guide to the 3D Media Player, in addition to providing
you with complete operating instructions, also offers a wealth of additional information and pointers to
resources that will enable you to learn more about the worlds of mobile computing and stereoscopic 3D.

2.Introduction
1) Power:
a. long press turns tablet on or pops up a Shutdown window if already on
b. press it again to enter or exit standby mode
c. press for 6 seconds to turn off
2) Volume-: decrease the volume
3) Volume+: increase the volume

4. Peripheral Connection
Top to Bottom: Stereo Headphone, Micro-HDMI out to TV, USB Flash Drive or PC, DC in.

5. Turn On/Off
5.1 Turn on and unlock the screen
In power off mode, long press “POWER” button to enter Android system’s boot screen; after
entering the desktop, touch and drag the icon to the right to unlock, as shown in figure below:
5.2 Power saving mode and locking the screen
After power on, press “POWER” button once lightly to enter SLEEP power saving mode.
In power saving mode, the screen turns dark and enters lock state. Press “POWER” again
once lightly to unlock.
5.3 Turn off
In power on mode, long press “POWER” button for several seconds to pop up Shutdown, and
select “Confirm” to turn off.
Note: When battery is low, there is a continuous alarm, and it will automatically power off if
not attached to charger. At any time, if device does not turn on, check whether battery has
been charged. A minimal reserve capacity, 5-10% charge, may be necessary before device will
activate.

NOTE: Users have the option to rename your 3D picture or video files with the prefix
[3D] in the filename – this will enable the player to play them in 3D automatically.

8.1 Main Interface
Turn on and unlock the screen as noted above .
8.2 Function menu
Touch at top right to enter function menu. Here you will find a list of preloaded
apps and the apps you have downloaded to the tablet.
