Subject: Crack at bypass unit inner cover’s screw fixing position

Phenomenon
A crack may arise at the ‘inner right cover’ (2BL0409) and ‘Base Bypass Unit ‘ (2BL0651) around the screw
position (circled in below figures). This crack will not have any affect on the machine’s functionality, nor will it
cause parts to become loose.
Cause
During the process of creating the screw hole in the cover, the oil was not sufficiently cleaned up.
This remaining oil in time produced a chemical reaction with the cover and caused the cover to crack.
Countermeasure
At the factory line, the covers have been cleaned by using alcohol before assembling.
At manufacturer, the facility for cleaning has been improved.
