The LC-10 Colour excels through colourful versatil
ity. Pictures, graphics and texts can be printed in
seven different colours on fanfold paper or cut
sheets - in red, green, blue, yellow, violet, orange
and black. The selection of the colours directly from
the text is possible. Naturally, the LC-10 Colour can
also function as a monochrome printer, in which
case, the ribbon is simply exchanged for a standard
black one.
More than the majority of 9-wire printers is some
thing the LC-10 Colour can also offer in terms of
typefaces and character widths. Built-in are Courier,
Sans Serif, Orator 1 and Orator 2. They can be print
ed in near letter quality in the widths Pica, Elite and
proportional, as well as italic. Furthermore, the LC-10
Colour has a paper-park-function as standard,
which makes it possible to print cut sheets without
having to remove the push tractor feed and the
fanfold paper. Also integrated is a paper tear-off
automatic which lines up fanfold paper exactly
along the tearing edge and, after a page has been
torn off, returns it automatically to the starting
position.
Fitted with a parallel interface and two emulations,
the LC-10 Colour can be connected with the major
ity of colour computers. Specially adapted as the
LC-10 C Colour, this multitalent is also available for
use with the Commodore 64/128.
