Finally everything is settled and the invitation is ready to
welcome you to maybe the greatest happening this year!
The party is exclusively for C64. Amiga and Archimedes. Demo
competitions for all three computers will be held!
“Why come to this party?" you may ask yourself. Well, try
reading this: The party place is a huge ice-hockey hall in
Bergen, the second largest city of Norway. Chairs and tables
will be no problem, unless three thousand persons show up.
The hall contains plenty of toilets and showers, and there is
even a sauna for your disposal! We have also hired a great
hall for sleeping, twenty metres, east of Bergensha11en.
A restaurant/snack bar inside the hall will be open day and
night, and 100 metres away you can find a shopping mall. The
parking lot will be guarded just like the hall itself.
The demos will be shown on a 4x3 metres video screen, and the
sound will of course be in blasting stereo. The prizes for
the demo competitions will be hardware sponsored by BJ
Electronics.
All this luxury can of course not be for free, and that's why
this party is slightly more expensive than other parties. But
we are still trying to get a better offer and some sponsoring
deals, so maybe you will get a pieasart.surprise later.
But how do you get to Bergen? Bergen is one of the easiest
places to get to in Norway. About four trains arrive from
Oslo every day. and there are of course high standard roads
from all parts of the country! Planes land frequently at the
new international airport, and the airbus will drop you off
500 metres from Bergensha11en.;Passenger ships from Denmark.
Britain. Holland. Germany and several other countries can
take you to the harbour of Bergen.
"Who will be there?" you wonder. We could give you a long
list of different nationalities. but to make it short, we
will just say we expect people from all. continents except
Asia to come!
As you all know. copying copyrighted software is illegal.
Remember this is a legal demo-party, not a copy-party!
