The Rees S981 shielded color CCD camera provides high resolution color video in radioactive surroundings. The additional shielding allows ex­tended viewing when you need a color camera that can survive doses of 500 Gy (5 x 104 rads). The 10x optical zoom (4x digital) allows for closer examina­tion of critical areas. The zoom is remotely con­trolled along with the pan and tilt, lights, and auto iris. Designed with internal wiring the system can be used for both underwater and in air applications, and the camera can be readily removed from the pan/tilt unit to facilitate ease of servicing. The sys­tem can be supplied as a single camera or in large multi-camera configurations; 8 channels per cam­era controller with up to 128 individual cameras.
