The RADOS Truck Monitors, of the RADOS
CheckPoint:Gate™ family, are exible and versatile
measurement systems for around-the-clock monitoring
of vehicles, packages and people for radioactive
materials, contamination and Special Nuclear Material
(SNM). They are the result of development of well-
established products to meet the specic needs of
Homeland Security and Civil Defense.

RADOS truck monitors have been tested and proven
of value in many applications of most variable
functionalities – from nuclear facilities to harbour
systems and steel plants. They are designed to meet
the demanding requirements of border control and
other points of entry to a territory.

Various congurations are available to match the requirements of different customers.
Large-area gamma plastic scintillation detectors (RPD) are used in RADOS truck monitors.
The detectors are equipped with a photo multiplier and detector electronics with respective
signal processing.

• maximum recommended speed between detector cabinets: 32 km/h

• various optional enhancements such as camera and trafc light systems, license
plate and container recognition, neutron detection and others
• Reliable, unattended operation with automatic data logging and a variety of alarm functions
