External Probes for RDS-31S/R survey meter
These external probes enhance the detection
capability of the RADOS RDS-31 survey meter .They
have been designed to ful ll both the civil defense
and industrial applications requirements.
The GMP-11-3/15-3 probes are intended for
monitoring alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray
radiation. The GMP-11-3/15-3 is used as
external probe for the RDS-31S/R Multi-Purpose
Survey Meter . The GMP-11-3/15-3 probe is con-
nected to an external binder connector interface at
the bottom of the RDS-31.
The probe can be attached to or removed o the
meter without any need to switch o the meter rst.
The RDS-31 automatically recognizes the connected
external probe type and switches to corresponding
display unit.
If the RDS-31 meter is switched o when the probe
is connected to it, the probe is detected by the me-
ter at the start-up when the meter is switched on.
The probes can be used as hand-held or as xed
probes.
