Protection For Harsh Environments

The new ERS Ruggedized UPS is a value-priced, yet feature-rich UPS
incorporating line-interactive technology that preserves battery power by
providing automatic voltage regulation during brownouts or voltage sags,

and other fl uctuations in utility power. Designed to effi ciently operate in

extreme temperature rated environments, the ERS can be used to support

Servers, Telecom equipment, VoIP systems, Security systems, Traffi c

control and monitoring equipment or a variety of other applications where

standard UPS products are unable to operate.

A front panel LED display provides visual notifi cation of the UPS status,
including AC input status, battery status, and UPS fault indication.

Equipped for Extreme Environments

The ERS Ruggedized UPS offers an expanded temperature range
suited for use in installations where standard UPSs typically will not

function. High Temperature batteries and temperature-compensated

charging combine to provide an operating temperature range from +5 to
+122°F (-15 to +50°C), making the ERS an economical and rugged choice

for backing up equipment with extreme installation parameters.

Versatile Communications

Each ERS Ruggedized UPS is installed with an SNMP manage-

ment card for remote management and monitoring over a LAN. The UPS

includes a RS232 serial port and a USB port for communications and
management using a local PC/Server when partnered with Minuteman’s
SentryPlus™ software, which can be downloaded for free from

www.minutemanups.com.

Designed for versatility, the ERS can be mounted in a standard rack
using the included rackmount brackets. The brackets can also be attached
to the unit to allow it to stand as a tower. An optional kit is also available for
mounting the unit directly on a wall.
