Section 1: Quick Start
1.1 Outlook for your Tablet PC
Front, side and back view

Your presentation box contains the following
items:
• Tablet PC

1.3 Install SIM card and SD card
SIM card
• Install SIM card
Locate the SIM card slot and insert the
SIM card with its gold contacts facing
down in accordance with the detail printed
on the SIM Card holder.
• Remove SIM card
To remove the SIM card, turn the product
OFF. Failure to do so may result in your
SIM Card being damaged.

SD card
You need an SD card to store photos, music,
video and other data.
• Install SD card
Locate the SD card slot and insert the SD
card with its gold contacts facing down in
accordance with the detail printed on the SD
Card holder.
• Remove SD card
1. To disconnect the SD card from the
device.
Click > Settings> Storage>
Unmount SD card
2. Open the SD card protection cover.
3. Use your ngertips to tap the SD card, the
card will release from the slot.
1.4 Charging and Headphones
• Charging
When the battery is charging, this icon
appears in the status bar. When the battery
is fully charged, this icon appears in the
status bar.
• Headphones
When you want to use headphones for
listening to music, plug the headphones into
the headphone jack, the icon
will appear in the status bar.
1.5 Turning On/O
• Turning On
Press and hold power key to turn on
the product. It takes about 30 seconds to
illuminate the main screen.
• Turning O
Press and hold power key . The Power
o pop-up menu will appear.
Click Power o in the pop-up menu above
and select OK in the pop-up menu below.
• Standby
1. If you do not unlock within approximately
10 seconds, the device will automatically
return to a dark screen.
2. Illuminate the screen by pressing the
power key icon
Note: When using headphones, your
peripheral hearing ability will be impaired.
When your safety is threatened due to
being unable to hear, please do not use
headphones. When using headphones
with your phone, please ensure that you
do not set the volume of the phone to
its maximum, as this may damage your
hearing.

2.1 Home Screen
Section 2: Basic Operation
The Main screen consists of ve screens.
Sliding your nger over the screen
horizontally will switch you to the extended
screens.

• Menu Open the application menu.
• Google Search Use Google search.
• The main screen key back to the

•Back key return to the previous
operation screen.
Daemon icon recently used applica-
tions; click the desired application to open.
Status bar
The Status Bar displays various status in-
formation and icons. You can click
to turn the status bar OFF.

Shortcuts
To customise dierent home screens you
can add apps shortcuts or reposition the
shortcut on the screen.
Click to open the application menu.
Long press and drag the icon to be added
to the main screen.
Widgets
You can add a clock, music player and
calendar widgets on the main screen.
Click to open the application menu
and click
Slide screen to the left into the widgets
page. Long press any widget and drag it to
the screen.

By Clicking Wallpapers, you can select the
system pictures as wallpapers.
2. Click > Settings> Display>

Touchscreen
• Steps
1. Short Press on touchscreen: Use the tip
of your nger to press exactly on the touch
key you want, being careful not to touch the
keys for other functions.
Wallpapers
2. Long Press on touchscreen: Press for more
than 1,5 seconds to get into the sub-menu.
The sub-menu displays functions: Gallery,
Live Wallpapers, Photos, or Wallpapers.
3. Drag: Press and hold the scroll bar and
drag up or down. On some screens such as
web pages, you can also scroll side to side.
4. Zoom: When you view pages, you can
double-click the screen to zoom in or out of
the page.

2.2 Volume
• Media volume: Set the volume of music,
video, games and other media players.
• Ringtone volume: Set the volume of the
Ringtone and Notications.
• Alarm volume: Set the Alarm volume.
• Call volume: Set the volume of Calls.

2.3 Contact Information (People)
You can save contacts, phone numbers and
email and other related content.

1. Enter your contact’s information.
2. Click DONE to save the contact.
3. Click Discard if you so wish.
Set vibrate
Steps: > Settings > Sound >
Volumes
Check Call Ringtone and Vibrate. Turn ON or
OFF the equipment vibration.

Backup Contacts
You can export your contact data to the SD
card.
Steps:
1. Click and open the contact list.
2. Click > Import/export.
3. Click EXPORT TO STORAGE

Favourite Contacts
You can add commonly used contacts and special contacts to your collection.
Steps:
Select a contact in your contact list and click the star icon to make it turn BLUE.
Note: You can hold down the and
drag it to the message icon to hang up
the phone and send a message.

Section 3: Use the device
Receive calls
Receiving an incoming call, the device will
issue a prompt. You can hold down the
key, drag it to the to receive calls, or
drag it to the to hang up.
3.1 Phone
Make a phone call
1. > Phone
2. Press the number keys, enter the phone number.
3. Click to make a call.
4. When the call is completed, press the hang up (Red Bar) to end the call.
Note:
1.Click back space to remove the number.
2. You can also select a contact to call.
3. During a calL, click .This opens the dial pad to the digital input.
Note:
1. Dierent countries have dierent
emergency call numbers; however, the
emergency call number will be identied
through the Network Provider you have
selected to supply your SIM Card Service.
In some instances an environmental
condition such as no Network Connectivity
will prevent an emergency call from being
activated.
2. The phone features of the device must
be turned ON when you make an emergency
call.
3.2 Message
Write messages
Steps:
> Messaging >
New message
1. Enter the message recipient, you can also
press to nd a recipient
among your Contacts.
2. Enter the text you want to send.
3. Click , send the message.
Handsfree
You can use the handsfree function while
driving, which promotes road safety.
Use handsfree speaker/microphone device
/Bluetooth headset to make and receive
calls.
Note: It is against the law to use this
device while driving if you are not using
the handsfree function.
Mute
During a call, you can prevent the other
party from hearing your conversation.
Press the MUTE function to turn on or o.
Telephone conference
1. > Phone.
2. Press the number keys to input the contact
telephone number of the rst person.
3. Outgoing calls.
4. When the other party answers, click.
5. Press the number keys to enter the next
party calls and outgoing calls.
6. Click to connect the parties
selected.
Call history
You can view the received calls, missed
calls, dialled calls and other information in
the call history.
Steps:
> Phone
Click to view the call history.
Emergency call
1. > Phone (If the device
is locked, click Emergency Call.)
2. Press the number keys to enter the
emergency number.

Answer messages
You will receive a Prompt on the Status
Bar when you receive any message or
information.
Steps:
> Messaging
Select the message you want to reply to
1. Enter the text you want to send.
2. Click , send the message.
Write MMS
Steps:
> Messaging > New message
Enter the message recipient, you can also
press to nd a recipient.
Note: An SMS is used for TEXT only; an
MMS is used when you wish to
attach an item.
Additionally, you can convert an SMS into
an MMS in the following manner:
1. Click > Add subject.
2. Click to add (attach) pictures, music
or video les to an MMS.

Section 4: Email
4.1 Use the Google Account login
Using the Google Account login can make your device synchronize with the server. You
must use a Google account to synchronize Google Apps, Google Talk and Android Market.
Steps:
Click > Setting >
Accounts & sync> ADD ACCOUNT> Google
Click SIGN IN, enter your user name and password, click SIGN IN. After logging in, your
email, contacts and calendar in your Google account will be synchronized to the device.
Note: If you do not have a Google account,
Click CREATE.
Retrieve your Google account password
If you have forgotten your Google account
password, you can perform the following
steps to obtain the password:
1. On the computer, open a browser and go
to: http://google.com/accounts
2. On the right side of the web page, click
CAN’T ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT?
3. Select I DON’T KNOW MY PASSWORD.
4. Then follow the procedure to reset your
password.
Set data synchronization
You can bind a Google account to
synchronize the contacts in the device
to the website. This will facilitate the
continuous update of the Google application
information.

Enter the recipient’s email address and
message content, and press to send
the mail.
4.3 Email
Using Email to send messages:
Note:
1. You must rst set up your email account
in order to send or receive emails.
2. Email must be sent via an internet
connection. Check your specic setup
parameters with your network service
provider.

1. Enter the email adress and password, and
click NEXT.
4.2 Gmail
Write a new Gmail
Steps:
1. Click > Gmail
2. Click , and select COMPOSE +

1. Click to edit the email message.
2. Enter the email address of the recipient.
3. Enter a subject.
4. Write the message content.
5. Click to send the email.
2. Select the type of email account: POP3/
IMAP/Exchange. If you do not know the
conguration parameters, you can consult
the email service provider.
3. You can set the frequency of mail checks.
After setting, click NEXT.
4. Create a name and signature for your
account.
You can also set multiple email addresses:
1. After you set the initial email address,
click and select SETTINGS to enter the
account settings page.
2. Click the ADD ACCOUNT to add other
email accounts.
View and Save email
Receiving email messages stored in the
network service provider’s mail server
before downloading to the device.
· Select the email to read in the Inbox.
· By clicking the attachment icon you can
view email attachments.
· Click SAVE to download attachments;
attachments are usually stored in your SD
card.
Reply email
· In the Inbox, select the mail you want to
reply to and click to reply.

5.1 Mobile Networks
When you have inserted your SIM/UIM card, you can then use your network operators’
2G/3G Network
Check your network connection
1. Click > Settings
2. Click > Mobile Data >
WIRELESS & NETWORKS >
More> Mobile networks.
3. Select Mobile Setting Required
4. Click MORE to select functions below on POP-UP Screen.
5. Click MOBILE DATA then ACCESS POINT NAMES (APN) to check your network
connection.

5.2 WLAN
On/O Wi-Fi
Steps:
Click > Settings> WIRELESS &
NETWORKS
Slide switch to turn Wi-Fi ON or OFF.
Search and connect Wi-Fi
1. Click > Settings > WIRELESS
& NETWORKS
2. Open the Wi-Fi, your device will
automatically list the networks available.
If you select an open network, you can
directly connect to the network.
If you select an encrypted network, you
must enter a password to connect to the
network.
Click ADD NETWORK to add a new WLAN.
When your device is connected to the
network this icon will appear in the
status bar.
Note: When you enter the network
coverage, and your WLAN is turned on,
your device will automatically reconnect
to the network you have connected to.
5.3 Browser
Using the browser allows your devices
to access Web pages and Web-based
applications. Consult with your network
service provider for details on how to
connect.
Note: The network connection type
may dier depending on your network
service provider. Using a dierent type
of connection, your network connection
costs may be dierent. Specic tari
details can be provided by your network
service provider.
Steps:
Click > Browser
Click on the tab bar to open pages.
Click × closes the page.
Click + creates a new page.
Click refreshes the page.
Click moves back or forward to
view the page.
Click to bookmark the current page.
Click search or enter the URL.
Click to view all of your bookmarks,
history or saved pages.
Click to do more actions.
View the links in the page
You can click the link in the page to open it.
Tap and hold the link in a Web page, you
can choose to open the link in a new window
or bookmark it.
You can also enter the URL you want to
access directly in the address bar.
Zoom pages
Double-click the web page to zoom the
page.
Drag up or down the page, allows you to
quickly browse the Web.

6.1 Using Bluetooth
On/O Bluetooth
Steps:
Click > Settings > Bluetooth
Click switch to turn Bluetooth ON or OFF
Connect your equipment to additional equipment
1. Ensure that the device you want to “pair”
with in “Bluetooth Connectivity” is turned on
and visible to your handset.
2. After turning on Bluetooth, click SEARCH
FOR DEVICES.
3. Select a device in the list to connect to.
4. Click the PAIR icon to connect
the devices.
When Bluetooth is turned on this icon
will be displayed in the status bar.
Note:
Bluetooth device connection methods
may dier. This information is for
reference only.
Disconnect Bluetooth from additional
equipment
Click the device name that you want to
disconnect in the list, and click UNPAIR to
disconnect.

browsing interface, click in the pop-up
menu, select SLIDESHOW.
Share pictures
1. Click the picture you want to share, enter
the picture browsing interface, and click
2. Choose to share pictures via MMS,
Bluetooth, or your Gmail or email.

Enter the picture browsing interface and
click and select EDIT to enter the photo
editing interface.
7.3 Camcorder
Steps:
Click > Camcorder

Touch the video in the viewnder screen upper right corner of the thumbnail; you can open
the media library to view the video. Click the play button on the screen to view the video. You
can also choose other buttons for additional features.

Section 8: USB & SD card
8.1 USB connection
You can use the USB data cable to connect the device to the computer, in order to transfer
pictures, videos, music and more between your SD card and your computer.
1. Install your SD card into the device. Using your USB data cable, connect the device to the
high-speed USB port on your computer.
2. The status bar will show the USB connection icon
3. Click USB CONNECTION and transfer
to the USB computer connection interface.
Select the way to connect the device to the
computer.

Note:
In this mode while connected to the USB
you cannot access the memory card on
the device. Subsequently, you cannot use
the applications such as cameras, photo
gallery, or music.
4. Find the “Removable Disk” Icon in “My
Computer”.
5. On your computer, Click REMOVABLE
DISK to access the device memory card.
6. Drop the pictures, video, music and other
les on your computer onto the device
memory card folder.
7. Click the CHARGING option to safely
disconnect device from computer.
8.2 SD card
In the “Storage” function, you can view the
memory card usage.
Note:
Please install the memory card before
use, otherwise it will aect the use of
photography, camera and other functions.
Before removing the memory card,
ensure that the device is switched OFF to
prevent damage to the SD card.
Note:
Before installing or removing the memory
card, turn o the equipment, or you may
damage your memory card.
Click > Settings> Storage>
Unmount SD card.
After you “Unmount” the SD card you can
click ERASE SD CARD to erase all data on
the SD card.
Section 9: Other Applications
9.1 Alarm Clock
Add alarm
Steps:
Click > Clock> Set alarm >
Click Set alarm
Set the alarm information and click DONE

9.2 Calendar
Use the calendar to arrange and manage your schedule.
Note:
To use the calendar, you must login to your Google account rst, and correctly set the
time and date of the equipment.
Steps:
Click > Calendar
New event
Click to set a new event, enter the
event in accordance with the pop-up menu
information option and click DONE to save
the event.
Edit the event
• Edit
Tap the Event you wish to edit, a pop-up
menu will display the event. Click to
edit the event.
• Delete
Select the event to be deleted and click
to delete the event.
9.3 Maps
The map identies your current location; you
can view trac conditions, as well as receive
detailed directional information about your
desired destination. Provides a search tool
that allows you to nd an address you wish
to locate.
Note:
You must open 3G/GPRS or Wi-Fi to
use the map. Maps application does not
cover all countries and cities.
Open the location service
You must open the location access rst
in order to open the map and search for
your location or search for your required
destination.
Steps:
Click > Settings >
Location services
Check Google’s location services, GPS
satellites, or both.

Note:
Check GPS satellites, you can search in the street map that you want to go to, but, this
must be done when the atmospheric conditions are good. Such searches when the
GPS is activated will consume more power.
Use the maps
Steps:
Click > Maps
• Search my position on the map.
In the map interface, click .Your location will be displayed by a ashing blue dot.
• Search location
1. In the map interface, click SEARCH
MAPS.
2. Type the name of the place you want to
search, you can choose to enter an address,
city, or the building name (for example: The
Oriental Pearl).
Note:
When you enter the place, the map will
prompt you with the list of places that
have been searched. Click on the list
address required and its location will be
displayed on the map.
3. Click ,the search results will display on
the map.
4. Click the text box to display the search
info about the places and the operation.
View Maps
While viewing the map, you can use the
following zoom and navigation skills.
Zoom the map.
Move your nger Left or Right, Up or Down
to slide the map, you can zoom in or out of
the map.
Change the map mode.
Click to change the map mode.
Trac (only to the specic area):
Real-time trac updates will display dierent
coloured lines on the road; each colour
represents a dierent trac movement
speed.
Satellite:
Use the same satellite data as Google Earth.
However, satellite imagery is not a real-time
video. Google Earth will achieve the best
quality images, but most of the images have
a history of one to three years.
Terrain:
This mode is the default view, the following
entities will be displayed: the name of the
map, the streets, rivers, lakes, mountains,
parks and the border.

Get Directions
Steps:
1. Click to search routes.
2. In the rst input box, enter the starting point, in the second input box, enter the destination.
You can also click to open the list
of positions, and then select the starting point and destination address.
3. Select the way you travel: By car, bus or on foot.
4. Click GO, wait for a list of routes to your destination to be displayed.
Click on the route displayed on the list that you require.
5. Complete view or nish using the routes, press the Menu key, then click to empty the
results, you can the reset the map. Your destination will be automatically saved in the map
records.

Section 10: Settings
10.1 Device Settings
You can use the following methods to open
the settings interface:
· Click > Settings
· Click the status bar of the main screen,
then you can see the pop-up menu.
WIRELESS & NETWORKS Set your device’s wireless connection, such as: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,
Flight Mode, or set up roaming, networks, and more options.
DEVICE Set the theme style, sound, display, storage devices, etc.
PERSONAL Set up accounts, equipment safety, language, and backup.
SYSTEM Set the time and date, accessibility. You can also view the
legal information of the software and the version of the device..
Click to enter the Settings menu.
If you want to set up the time by yourself:
· Click SET DATE, adjust the date, month
and year, and then click SET.
· Click SELECT TIME ZONE, and then select
your time zone from the list.
· Click SET TIME, adjust the hours and
minutes.
· You can check or uncheck the USE 24-
HOUR FORMAT to switch between 12 hours
or 24 hours format.
· Click SELECT DATE FORMAT and then
select your desired date display format.

Note:
Check the “Automatic data & time” and
“Automatic time zone”. The device based
on your network automatically adjusts
the display time and date and time zone.
If you want to set up your own time, do

10.4 Display
Set screen brightness
Steps:
Click > Settings > Display >
Brightness
Note:
If you want to adjust the brightness by yourself please set the “Choose Brightness
Settings” to “Normal”.
When the “Choose Brightness Settings” is “Normal”, click BRIGHTNESS and adjust the
brightness in the pop-up menu to your requirements. Click OK.

Sleep
Steps:
Click > Settings> Display> Sleep
Set the screen auto-lock delay time. Times
range from “15 Seconds to Never”
10.5 Factory data reset
You can use this feature to erase all data
on phone.
Note:
This operation will clear the following
data in your device.
· Your account.
· System and application’s data and settings.
· Application.
Does not clear the following data:
· System software and bundled applications.
· The le in the SD card, such as music or
photos.
Steps:
Click > Settings> Backup & Reset>
Factory data reset
Click FACTORY DATA RESET that shows in
the Factory data reset interface.
· Set a PIN.
Steps:
Click > Settings> Security>
Set up SIM/RUIM card lock> Lock SIM/RUIM card.
Use the keyboard to enter the PIN code. If you want to change the PIN, please click CHANGE
SIM PIN.
10.6 Protect your device
Protect your SIM card by PIN
You set a Personal Identication Number
(PIN) to protect the SIM card.
Note: You do not need to enter the PIN at any time to make an emergency call.

· Unlock the SIM card
If you enter the wrong PIN code more
than the allowed times (3 times), your
SIM card will be locked. You must enter
the PUK code in order to restore the device.
This password will be provided with the
service provider’s SIM card.
Click on an emergency call, and then enter
the following sequence:
**05*[PUK]*[New PIN]*[New PIN]#
Note:
If you need to reset your PIN, consult your
Service Provider.
Screen security
You can lock the screen or draw the screen
unlock pattern every time you start the
device.
Screen lock
The screen lock protects the screen and
does not allow accidental activation of any
function until the device is ocially opened.
The following screen Unlock modes are
available:
· Slide
Slide is the system default’s unlock method.
It will allow you into the locked screen only
after the device is turned on.

Press and hold move to the right to
unlock.
Create a screen unlock pattern.
Create a personal screen unlock pattern to
improve the security of the devices.
Steps:
1. Click > Settings> Security>
Screen lock> Pattern.
2. Read the instructions on the screen, and
then click NEXT.
3. Draw at least four points connected to the
vertical, horizontal or diagonal direction.
Note:
You must use the nger slide on the
screen to draw the unlock pattern, rather
than clicking on one point.
4. The device will record the unlock pattern,
click CONTINUE.
5. Draw the unlock pattern again, and then
click CONFIRM.
Note:
1. If you do not want the unlock pattern
to appear on the screen, un-check “Make
the passwords visible”.
2. To change the screen unlock pattern,
please enter the interface of the screen
unlock pattern, conrm the original
stored pattern, and then click on the
PATTERN option to draw a new pattern.
3. If you fail to draw the correct unlock
pattern of ve points on the screen, the
screen will prompt you to wait for 30
seconds and try again.
If you forget your screen unlock pattern,
please click FORGOT PATTERN. zThe
interface will prompt you to use your
Google account name and password to
create a new screen unlock pattern.
