outdoor enthusiasts, which has been specially
designed to meet the specific needs of this
target group.The design of these new MINOX
binoculars perfectly coordinates high per­formance, ruggedness and easy handling.

This has been made possible through the
consistent application of trend-setting tech­nologies. "Set and forget", that’s the principle
applied when focusing the BD 6.5x32 IF; its
compact design permits easy operation with
one hand, and this is where IF stands for
convenient individual focusing of the two
eyepieces. Once the binoculars have been
adjusted to the user’s eyes, no further
focusing of any kind is required. With the
mechanics and operation reduced to concen­trate on essentials like this, the binoculars
are exceptionally robust and simply inde­structible.

Modern roof prisms were the basis for the
design of this highly compact, elegantly
shaped and lightweight metal body. With
rubber armoring it is exceptionally resistant
and good to hold – and it is even watertight
to a depth of five meters. The extra-long
eye relief of 19 millimeters provide real con­venience, and with an exit pupil diameter
of five millimeters eyes have plenty of area
to keep objects in sight during the day, also
guaranteeing a brighter image in twilight.

The design of the BD 6.5x32 IF is based on
advanced characteristic features familiar from
the latest models in the MINOX binocular
program. Aspherical lenses enhance high
contrast and detail rendition through an out­standing resolution right into the edges.
A phase correction coating on the prisms in­creases the contrast of the image during
viewing, even in dim twilight. Inside the body
there is an argon gas filling which prevents
fogging of the glass surfaces and additionally
provides corrosion protection. Like all MINOX
binoculars, the BD 6.5x32 IF also feature a
multi-layer coating on all air/glass surfaces for
optimal light transmission and brilliance of
the image.

Included with every BD 6.5x32 IF is a very
durable, leather every-ready case as well as a
wide and comfortable neck strap.A rain guard
for the ocular lense and attached objectived
lens covers are also included.
