DIGISCOPING NEW DEFINED
MINOX DCM
Digital camera, monitor and eyepiece all in one
With the MINOX Digital Camera Module (DCM) connected to a quality telescope a fast and easy-fitting solution has been provided for taking digital pictures through a spotting scope. Simply attached to the eyepiece bayonet of a ‘scope this highly innovative product is an exciting combina- tion of digital camera with normal camera functions, 2.0“ TFT monitor and eyepiece all in one. What is even more exciting is that nature lovers need no additional equipment to get into practical digiscoping.
The very compact size of around 68 x 71 x 56 mm and weighing only 220 grams the Digital Camera is convenient to carry and travel with. The screen allows more than one person to not only view the subject at the same time but also see the pictures or video-clips taken or being taken. Its just like using
a powerful telephoto lens with a 40 x magnification. Due to its compact size and lightweight the DCM 5.0 megapixel camera is very nice to hold while at the same time being multi compatible. Initially it will be made with four different bayonet fittings for high quality ‘scopes like the MINOX MD 62 range, or Zeiss, Leica, Swarovski and Kowa. Being watertight and shock-proof the Digital Eyepiece Camera can comfortably be used in adverse weather conditions.
A convenient folding ‘flip-up’ shield not only protects the TFT monitor and the operating controls during transportation and storage and acts as an antidazzle shield when the Digital Eyepiece Camera is in operation. To do this, a powerful lens – replacing the eye-piece – transfers the image to the sensor of the digital camera integrated in the MINOX DCM. To store the image data this exceptional ‘camera’ has an internal memory of 128 MB as well as a port for SD memory cards with a capacity of up to 16 GB (using SDHC cards). Power is provided by a replaceable high-capacity lithium-ion battery.
Works with many premium scopes!

THE LEGEND LIVES ON !
MINOX DSC
Spy photography with tradition
DSC is the name of the new mini MINOX model: Digital Spy Camera. This outstanding masterpiece in minimalist design and photo technology packs remarkable features into dimensions of just 86 x 29 x 20
mm. With a resolution of five million pixels it can compete with traditional digital cameras with ease. The bright viewfinder allows spontaneous, fast shots, even in critical light conditions. In twilight the integrated flash switches on automatically. In total, these features make the new DSC a very sound optical notebook.
The system has an additional external flash that can be docked on to the side of the DSC. And to provide the user with the accustomed convenience of a display for viewing film and image results, the flash has an integrated 1.5 inch TFT LCD monitor. The image data can be saved on micro SD memory cards of up to 16 GB, in addition to using the internal memory.
Traditionally the MINOX spy camera stands for a unique and entirely different form of photography, and so does the DSC. It can be whipped out of a pocket at any time to capture high quality fleeting candid images incon-spicuously: one click and it’s gone. Digital Spy Camera users
suddenly become “Agent M” with their own personal “License to Shoot“. The new image world of the MINOX DSC has its own internet forum (www.license-toshoot.com) ready for the photokina. Original and exciting „Agent M Shots“ can be placed on this site and contacts made to other “agents” all over the world.
There is a host of intelligent spy accessories. From the belt buckle camera to a photo pen – just about everything the future “private eye“ may need for capturing undercover digital images.

License to Shoot
MINOX Digital Sunglasses Camera
This pair of sunglasses has more than just one surprise in store: a micro photo camera is integrated in one of the earpieces and can be controlled via a remote control without attracting attention. The other earpiece houses a MP3 player. The lenses are replaceable, making this ingenious eyewear adjustable to the diopter strength required by the person wearing them.
MINOX Digital Belt Camera
Camouflaged as an inconspicuous belt buckle the MINOX Belt Camera enables photos to be taken without being noticed. The micro-optics are perfectly concealed on the front of this ingenious camera, allowing undercover surveillance to be recorded inconspicuously in 3GP format. The controls are arranged on the underside of the buckle and are within easy reach.
MINOX Spy Sunglasses
These unusual sunglasses have lenses that are mirror-coated on the i nside, at their outer edges. They reflect every thing going on behind the b ack of the person wearing them to allow perfect observation without having to turn around. The new MINOX spy sunglasses are also exactly what they look like, a perfectly normal pair of sunglasses with excellent UV protection.
MINOX Digital Pen Camera
This normal-looking pen would appear to be just another ball-point. But hidden behind its clip there’s a micro video camera that records video films in AVI realtime format. The high-power microphone is additionally integrated in the chrome-plated clip. A USB port for downloading the videos is built into the front part of the pen.

from different angles. Core elements of the MINOX DC 1033 include the 1/2.3“ CCD image sensor and the optimized high-power, multicoated MINOCTAR lens. In perfect coordination and adjusted to the signal processing of the camera these deliver extremely pin-sharp and brilliant images. With a 5x optical zoom the lens also opens up enormous possibilities when selecting the image detail.
An electronic image stabilizer helps the user eliminate practically any lens shake, even in the sensitive telephoto range. A picture bridge port allows the DC 1033 to be directly connected to peripheral equipment so that images can be printed out without having to use a computer.

SCHOTT & MINOX
A long-standing cooperation
The APO HG 8.5x43 and the APO HG 10x43 impressively represent the latest technologies in binocular engineering. With fluoride ED-glass lens elements these binoculars are apochromatically corrected to deliver a bril-liant, color-fringe-free image.
The new MINOX binoculars are the result of an intensive cooperation be-tween MINOX engineers and the glass specialists from SCHOTT. This extremely high-quality ED-glass (N-PK 52 A) awards the new HG binoculars apochromatic properties that offer the user an outstanding optical perform-ance. The APO-HG optical system produces images with natural color rendition, pin-sharp definition and high contrast, and also minimizes glare. Aspherical lenses inside the eyepieces guarantee consistent sharpness from the center right into the edges.
MINOX makes a point again
Coveted Design Award 2008 for the MINOX HG 8x33 BR asph.
A exceptional quality mark! At this years “reddot design award“, one of the biggest design competitions worldwide, the MINOX 8 x 33 High Grade Binocular was granted the much sought-after reddot.
MINOX was able to stand up to the strong competition where there were altogether over 2000 product entries. The products were closely scrutinized by a jury of experts in Essen. Once a year the international jury pass their judgement in three categories: product design, communication design and concept design. Those products winning the “reddot“ can be considered as the world’s best. The criteria applied in the judging include functionality and ergonomic design, innovative level, longevity of the product or its ecological compatibility with regard to the material, amount of material used, manufacturing technology and consumption of energy. The MINOX HG Binocular won the award in the product design category based on their top design quality.
