Part 1. Installation
Wiring Instructions - A Few Quick Reminders
A quick note before we give out the wiring schematics. Please do not
try installing this device if you are unsure of how electrical circuits
operate within your home. As exciting as it is to have a smart switch
installed, it can be dangerous and even life-threatening if you do not
install this correctly. Please consult a qualified electrician if
necessary. With that said, here are a few other warnings we’d like to
point out for your safety:
TIPS:
You can break off one or both sides

the scored tabs on the front yoke if
installing the In-wall smart switch in
multiple gang boxes. This does not
affect the electrical rating of the smart
switch.

1. Tools
Please prepare a flat head screwdriver, a
wire stripper and a voltmeter. Just in case
you might need them.
2. Turn off circuit breaker
Find your light control in your circuit breaker and turn it off. Make
sure the power is off by flipping your switch several times.
3. Detach old switch
Unscrew the top and bottom screws of the switch to detach it from
the wall.
IMPORTANT! Verify power is OFF to switch box before continuing.
4. Connection.(Refer to the step above < INSTALL THE WIRES >
5. Turn on the circuit breaker
Turn on your switch’s power from the circuit breaker. Press the switch
several times to check whether it works.
(300W with both sides of heat sink tabs off)
Minimum Load: 5W for LED bulbs
For indoor use.

NOTE:
• Make sure the power supply of the circuit breaker is turned off before connecting.
• Make sure the wall frame contains a neutral line (usually white). If the box on the wall doesn't have neutral wires, try it in another part of
your home or call a professional electrician to stop the switch.
• Make sure the wires are firmly attached to each wire.
• The colors shown in this manual are common colors and may vary in some homes.

OPERATION GUIDE
Adding your device to Wi-Fi network:
Tapx3(Top or bottom rocker) then hold 10s until the Wi-Fi
status LED blinks rapidly to initiate App-configured Mode.
NOTE: Solid 10s & Flash 1 time: Operation again, Until success.
If you need to reset the device ( Factory setting)
Tapx3(Top or bottom rocker) then hold 10s , The LED
indicator will flash to confirm reset successfully.
NOTE: All previously recorded activity and custom settings
will be erased from the device’s memory.

Part 3. APP Connection
QR code Smart Life
1. Please scan the QR code to download the application
“Smart Life”.
2. If you cannot download the Smart Life app, please search
“Smart Life” on Google Play (for Android phone) or Apple
Store (for iOS phone) to download.
Aer you download the Smart Life App and register a new account,
please follow the instructions below to set up your smart switch.
3. The smart switch can be also used with Amazon Echo
and Google Home. Please scan the QR code below and
follow the instructions if you have any trouble pairing
with them.
