User Manual
This scooter is suitable from 1 to 3 years old and the
maximum load is 20kg. This scooter has been designed to
comply with EN 71.
Important – Please read the instruction before assembly.

1. SAFETY INFORMATION

• You alone a re respon sible for the safety of your chil d.
• Never let your child ride the Lite Buddy scooter unsuperv ised.
• The Lite Buddy mu st be guid ed by an adult.
• To avoid serious accidents, never let go of the push handle when there is a child on the
Lite Buddy scooter.
• While your child is riding, m ake sure tha t they hold the handle g rip and place their fe et on
the footrest provided.
• The Lite Buddy scooter is not suitabl e for steep u phill and downhill gradien ts or travelling
up and down steps.
• Use this produc t for only on e child at a time.
• When ever possible, avoid u sing the Li te Buddy scooter on roads.
• Alway s follow the traffic rules and regulations.
• Do not allow your child to travel faster tha n 5 km/h to avoi d accidents.
• During adverse weather conditions, the risk o f accident and inju ry increases considerably.
Never use the Lite Buddy scooter when th e road is wet.
• Do not ride on wet, greasy, sandy, muddy, rough and uneven surfaces.
• To avoid injury, ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and foldin g
this product.

3. ASSEMBLING THE SCOOTER
WARNING! Before using the Lite Buddy, please make sure the push bar and screws
are tightened. Check that the wheels show no sign of wear.
1. Lite Buddy scooter comes with 4
components - scooter frame, push
bar, push bar connector and carry
strap.
2. Unfold the scooter frame and push
the seat down until you hear a ‘click’
sound, to ensure that the seat is
locked in place.
3. Attach the push bar connector to
the the push bar. Match the groove of
the push bar to the protruding part in
the height adjusting bar on the
scooter frame.
4. Depress the height adjusting
button as you slot in the push bar into
the height adjusting bar.

5. Adjust the push bar to your
preferred height. The height adjusting
button should protrude out of a hole
along the height adjusting bar.
6. Tighten the push bar connector to
make sure that the push bar and the
height adjusting bar are tightly
connected.
Your Lite Buddy scooter is fully
assembled for your use!
1. Loosen the push bar connector and
press down the height adjusting
button.
Adjust the push bar to your preferred
height - there are 2 different height
positions.
The height adjusting button should
protrude out of the hole of your
preferred height along the height
adjusting bar.

1. Turn the footrest lock anticlockwise and unscrew its screw to
unlock the footrest.
2. Adjust footrest to suitable height.
Tighten the screw of the footrest lock
and turn the footrest lock clockwise to
lock the footrest in place.
1. Rotate the push handle to control
the direction of scooter.
Make sure that the safety bumper is
enclosing the seat before you place
your child on it.
1. Loosen the push bar connector,
depress the height adjusting button
and push the push bar completely into
the height adjusting bar.
2. Pull the seat lock until you hear a
‘click’ sound to unlock the seat. Lift up
the seat.
3. Fold the scooter together and
secure it in place by ensuring that the
height adjusting bar is pushed into the
slot under the seat.

9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. The carry strap comes in 2 parts the buckle strap is to lock the strap to
the scooter and shoulder straps are for
users to carry the scooter over their
shoulders.
2. Wrap the buckle strap around the
folded scooter frame. Fasten the
buckle to secure the carry strap on the
scooter frame.
3. Carry the scooter with the shoulder
straps over your shoulders or slung on
a single shoulder if preferred.
Periodically check that all screws are tightened and the wheels are in good condition.
Periodically check the scooter for damaged or worn parts. Do not use this scooter if
any part is damaged or worn.
It is recommended to clean the Lite Buddy scooter regularly in order to maintain
optimum functioning. Clean Lite Buddy scooter with a damp, soft cloth and air dry.
