WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
TITLE
MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL CORP. 13135 WEST LISBON RD. BROOKFIELD, WIS.
ROUTE THE LEADS THRU WIRE TRAPS ON THE
MODULE, AS SHOWN, PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY
OF THE MODULE TO THE FRAME. THE ORDER
AND PLACEMENT OF LEADS IN THE WIRE
TRAPS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE.
IT IS ACCEPTABLE FOR THE
WIRES TO FALL OUT OF
THESE TRAPS AFTER THE
MODULE IS ASSEMBLED.
ROUTE THE BLACK
CORD LEAD #1 TO
THE BOTTOM TERMINAL
OF THE SWITCH.
ROUTER
REMOVE THE SLACK BETWEEN THE
WIRE TRAPS. WIRE #1 IS NOT TO
EXTEND INTO THE FRAME OPENING.

TO EXTEND APPROX. 1/8"
PAST THE CORD CLAMP
AREA.
WIRES MUST BE PUSHED
TO THE BOTTOM OF THE
WIRE TRAP. THE ORDER OF
THE WIRES IN THE TRAP
ARE INTERCHANGEABLE.
AS AN AID TO REASSEMBLY,
TAKE NOTE OF WIRE ROUTING
AND POSITION IN WIRE GUIDES
AND TRAPS WHILE
DISMANTLING TOOL.
ROUTE THE BRUSH SHUNT
TO THE BRUSH HOLDER,
AS SHOWN.
ROUTE THE BRUSH SHUNT TO THE
BRUSH HOLDER, AS SHOWN.
ROUTE THE ELECTRONICS MODULE WIRES
THRU THE WIRE TRAPS, AS SHOWN.
REMOVE THE EXCESS SLACK FROM THE
WIRES WHEN ROUTING THRU THE WIRE
TRAPS TO KEEP WIRES AWAY FROM THE
DIAL.
ROUTE BOTH CORD
LEADS, #1 AND #2,
THROUGH THIS TRAP.
REMOVE THE SLACK IN
THE WIRES BETWEEN
THIS TRAP AND THE
CORD CLAMP. THIS IS
TO ENSURE THAT THE
CORD LEADS DO NOT
TOUCH THE HEAT SINK.
ROUTE THE WHITE
CORD LEAD #2 TO
THE TERMINAL ON
THE ELECTRONICS
MODULE.
