When The Job Takes You to the Edge: Depend on Miller
Fall Protection
in Canada
Do You Know Where
Your Edges Are?
In work sites of every variety, edges are much
more common than people realize – and they
may pose a greater risk than you’d expect.
Whether you’re laying roofing, traversing a
beam, or simply working near the unprotected
sides of an upper floor, falls over an edge
are more hazardous than other falls.
Without protection designed for edges,
traditional lifelines risk being severed and the
force upon the worker in the event of a fall is
significantly increased. Honeywell estimates
that as many as 80% of fall-protection users
have applications in which a lifeline will come
in contact with an edge in the event of a fall.

Smooth Edge Applications

New Standards for Safety
As awareness of this threat grows, new safety
standards have been defined such as the stringent
ANSI Z359.142014 LE (Leading Edge), which
requires leading-edge protection to meet
criteria including:
• Edge radius as sharp as 0.005 in (0.13 mm)
• Safe for users connected at foot level
• Requires an integral shock-absorber
at the worker connection
Honeywell Has Your Back:
The Miller TurboLite™ Edge Series
Honeywell ’s extensive series of Miller TurboLite
Personal Fall Limiters (PFLs) is even more versatile
with the introduction of the TurboLite Edge Series.
Whether you work in construction, industrial, or
even wind power, units for sharp and smooth edges
will help you ensure workers are safe in applications
requiring foot-level tie-off or work near edges.
Make Confidence Your True Edge
TurboLite Edge PFLs are engineered to
deliver the assurance you expect from Miller,
and are available in a wide range of lengths
with innovative features:
Safe – Models are available for sharp and smooth
edges and include an integral shock absorber to keep

Versatile – Can be connected at foot-level and above
for workers up to 420 lbs.
Repairable – If one unit of a t win model is damaged,
the product can be sent into Honeywell for replacement.
Compact and Lightweight – Reduce your fatigue,
increase your productivity.
Simple – Easy to install, easy to use.
Configurable – A wide range of working
lengths featuring cable and web lifelines with
a variety of connectors.
Reduced fall clearance compared to a
shock-absorbing lanyard –Effective solution for
applications with limited fall clearance.
Durability – High-impact nylon housing and
abrasion-resistant webbing.
Superior Mobility – Integral swivel design increases
worker mobility and prevents lifeline from twisting.
What’s in It for Me?

Miller TurboLite™ Edge
Competitive Advantages
Maximizes versatility for virtually
any short-range application
The TurboLite Edge offering includes working lengths from 6-f t to
12-ft to accommodate a variety of applications.
Provides protection for a wider range of workers
With a 420 -lb (189 kg) weight capacity for all connections down to
foot-level, Miller TurboLite™ Edge takes adaptability to new heights.
Enables quicker, easier installation
Forget about pin buttons that are difficult to operate, and the
troublesome need to connect the shock-absorber to the harness.
One pin connection, a single click and you can focus on the task at hand.
Creates a better worker experience
Lightweight, compact harness connector with free-floating shock
absorber pack keeps worker cooler, and provides a more comfortable
work experience.
Increases safety
Two buttons on harness connector, two different planes and two
distinct actions provide the safest choice to prevent accidental
disengagement. A red indicator line gives a warning if the pin is not
properly engaged.
Lowers cost of ownership
Durable pin activation buttons and ballistic nylon shock absorber cover
along with the abilit y to replace a damaged unit results in a decreased
cost of ownership.
Ensures compatibility with all Miller harnesses
The product is compatible with all Miller harnesses, without any
add-ons. No cumbersome straps to attach to the harness or special
connectors are required for different harness sizes or configurations.
Prevents unit slippage
An optional Back DPad clip is included which is highly ef fective in
preventing slippage while providing easier connection to the harness.
Safety, Mobility and Comfort.
