Zeta 60
Zeta 100
Please regard the table as a guideline for choice of nozzle size/A compared with maximum
plate thickness for cutting in mild steel. In the case of cutting in other materials, the possible
cutting capacity and cutting speed are reduced.

1 Control knob
Control knob for setting the cutting current:
20-60A for Zeta 60, and
20-100A for Zeta 100.
2 Cutting voltage
The LED shines for safety reasons when
there is voltage on the cutting torch.
3 Overheating
The LED shines if cutting is interrupted due
to overheating of the machine. The machine
will reconnect automatically after a short
cooling period.
4 Mains error
Low voltage.
5 Cutting current
The LED indicates cutting current.
6 Air pressure
The LED shines if the air pressure falls
to below 3 bar. The machine stops
automatically.
7 Torch error
The LED flashes if there is a short circuit in
the torch. The machine stops automatically.
The LED shines if the torch body is assembled
incorrectly. Always turn off the machine
when changing the spare parts. There is a
risk of high voltage and electric chock.
8 Normal cutting
This function should be used in general.
9 ”Grid” cutting
This function should only be used under
special conditions (e.g. cutting in punched
plates or metal grids); Automatic changeover between pilot arc and cutting arc.
10 Plasma gouging (Zeta 100 only)
This function is for gouging out
material/welds.
11 Air pressure test
Zeta 60: The gas valve will open without
igniting the arc. This function allows check
and adjustment of the air pressure on
the gauge positioned on the back of the
machine. The air pressure should be
min. 3.5bar for cutting.
Zeta 100: An electrical detection of
over/under pressure is present and
therefore the meter in the regulator has
been removed. The air pressure should be
min. 3.5 bar for cutting and 2.5 bar for
gouging.
12 A (Zeta 100 only)
Display of arc voltage or cutting current.
The key pad must be pressed for 3 seconds
and the LED next to the “A” indicator
will be turned off, when the arc voltage
is displayed. Repress = return to cutting
current.
