Standby mode
In the main display, you may see several icons displayed on your status bar. The meaning for each icon is explained below:
Vertical bars indicate the signal strength of the GSM network signal. Four bars indicate that your current position has the best reception.
Dual SIM are active
SIM1 insert only
SIM2 insert only
Indicates the battery charge level.
Indicates your phone uses the alert type of “Ring”.
Indicates your phone uses the alert type of “Vibrate only”.
Indicates your phone uses the alert type of “Vibrate and ring”.
Indicates your phone uses the alert type of “Vibrate then ring”.
Indicates your phone uses the headsets inserted.
Indicates the alarm clock is set.
Indicates a missed call in SIM 1 or SIM 2.
Indicates new text message(s). in SIM 1 or SIM 2.
Indicates new multimedia message(s).
Indicates new voice mail message(s).
Indicates you receive one or several WAP push messages.
Indicates stopwatch is enabled.
Indicates your phone has logged onto GPRS.
Indicates you are using Bluetooth.
Getting started
Installing the SIM card and the battery
1. Press and pull the back cover down (1) and lift the battery away (2).

2. Insert the SIM card (3), install the battery (4) and attach the battery cover as shown (5).

Installing a memory Card
1. With the metal contacts facing to the metal contacts in the slot, gently slide the card into the slot and press down
until the card locks into place (6).
2. If you want to get the card out, gently pull the card, then you can remove it from your phone.

Charging the battery
Charge the battery before using your phone for the first time. Connect USB cable to the phone USB port> Connect charger to an AC wall outlet> battery full when all the scroll bars
are steady, disconnect the charger.
Switching the phone on and off
Press and hold the End Key.
Notes:
1. If the phone shows “Insert SIM 1” or “Insert SIM 2” when SIM card is properly inserted, contact your network operator or service provider.
2. You can also use the phone without SIM card. If the phone asks PIN code, key in the PIN code, and choose OK
to confirm.
Making a call
In standby mode, key in the number, including the area code, and then press the SIM1 Call Key to make a call by using SIM1, press the SIM2 Call Key to make a call by using SIM2.
To make an international call
Press and hold the 0 Key to enter the international prefix (character +) > Key in the country code, area code and the phone number.
>Press the SIM1 to make a call by using SIM1, press the SIM2 to make a call by using SIM2.
Answering or rejecting an incoming call
Press the Call
Key to answer the call when the phone rings.
Notes: If there is an incoming call from different SIM path while you are talking on the phone at the same time,
incoming call will be diverted. Must setup Smart Divert first, otherwise divert function cannot be activated. Please see Smart Divert for detail.
Press the End Key to reject the call.
Call Waiting
During a call, press the Call Key to answer the new incoming call. You can swap back anytime by choose Options and select Swap.
Notes: Swap function only occurs when incoming calls are from the same SIM path.
To Make a Conference Call
You can make conference call while you have multi calls in progress.
Make a call to the first participant >To call the second participant during an active call> Options and select new call to make a new call during an active call >Options and select Conference. This joins the calls to the conference.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to allow new participants to be connected to the conference call.
Notes: Two calls from different SIM path cannot make a conference call. Making a conference call is depended on
the network service. Some SIM cards may not support this function.
Input Method
Press # key to change the input method.
Multi-tap input
Your phone provides Multi-tap function. Press once to get the first letter on the key, press twice quickly to get the
second letter and so on until the letter you want is displayed on the screen. For example, in ABC, press the 2 Key twice to display the letter B, and press three times to display the letter C.

MENU FUNCTION
Call record Your phone can save the call records of missed calls, received calls, dialed calls in the Call Record menu.
All Calls /Dialed Calls/ Missed Calls/ Received Calls: Call Record menu> choose Dialed Calls/ Missed Calls/ Received
Calls to view the records.

In Call Record menu, choose Call timers to restart the content. The following timer options are available:

Call Cost
This function to check the cost of your last phone call or total cost. Call Record >Call Cost>SIM1 or SIM2 to view the content. Enter PIN2 code to reset call cost; the password can be obtained from your service provider.
Text msg. counter
Call Record >SMS Counter> SIM1 or SIM2 to view the records.
Sent: The number of text messages you have sent. Received: The number of text messages you have received.
GPRS Counter
In Call Record menu, choose GPRS Counter to view the content.

User Profiles
Your phone provides 6 different profiles, including:
General: Standard profile as phone default setting. Silent: Ring and key tone volume is set to be the lowest. Meeting: You can choose this profile when you have a meeting. Outdoor: Ring and key tone volume is set to be loud. My style: Profile for customization.
Your phone provides the following selections for your personalized option:
Alert type: Alert type to choose the phone notifies you for incoming calls and receiving a message. The
options are: Ring / Vib. only / Vib. and ring / Vib. then ring .
Ring Type:To set the ring type, the options have Repeat, Beep once and Ascending. SIM 1 Incoming Cal. SIM 2 Incoming Call. Ringtone Volume. SIM 1 Message SIM 2 Message Message Volume. Keypad Tone. Keytone Volume. Power On. Power Off. System alert.

This phone is built with creative games and some other useful programs.And Java inside too.
Phonebook
Your phonebook list is saved either on the SIM card’s memory or Phone’s memory. You can also choose to save on both.
Search
To search a number and a name
Main menu> Phonebook >key in the first few characters of contact person’s name. The phonebook list will automatically jump to the character you have entered or the matched contact will be displayed.
Note: In the search mode, you might press # key to change the input method.
Your phone provides the following options when you are in the search mode:
Call: To dial the number of the selected contact.
Send (text /multimedia) message: This two menu send text message or multimedia message to the selected
contact
Send business card: To send selected name card to other person through text message, MMS and Bluetooth . View: To read the selected contact’s information. Edit: To edit the information of the selected contact. Delete: To delete the selected contact. Copy: To copy the selected contact to the phone or SIM. (Depend on where you have saved the phone
number).
Move: To move the selected contact to the Phone, Private or SIM. Mark several: To mark multiple or all the contacts. Add to Blacklist: To add the selected contact to Blacklist.
Add new contact
To add a new contact
Phonebook> Add new contact >Select storage location> Select phone number type and specify contact information.
You may also edit the information for individual phone contact.
Caller Groups
There are five default caller groups on the phone. You can edit each group’s name. With the caller group function, you
can send a message to all members of a group at the same time.
To create an entry into a caller group Phonebook> Press navigate down key to Caller Groups> Add new group> edit group information> Options> save>
View members > Add> Then you may choose from Phonebook list.
Notes: You may add group like: Friends, Family, VIP, Business, and Others.
Speed Dials
If you assign the number to one of the speed dialing Keys (from 2 to 9) saved in the phonebook list, you can call the phone number by press and holding the key in the idle screen.
Blacklist
Your phone provides the following options for Blacklist:
Reject unknown callers: To reject unknown number calls, from SIM1 or SIM2.. Reject number in blacklist: open /close black list . Black list numbers: To add, delete or edit phone numbers on the Blacklist.

Delete all contacts Allows you delete all contacts in phone or SIM . You need to input phone lock password to confirm delete.
Copy contacts
You may install maximum two SIM cards into the phone. This function to copy contacts among two different storage locations, such as from SIM1 to SIM2 or SIM1 to Phone.You can mark multiple items to copy .
Move contacts
Allows you move multiple contacts information to different storage location.
Phonebook settings
Your phone provides you various setting options to personalize your phone, including,
Preferred Storage: You can choose your preferred storage. My Number: To define number or name. Extra number: You set owner number and SOS number here . Some SIM card cannot support this function. Memory Status: You can check the phone’s internal memory and how many entries can still be stored in SIM
card’s and Phone’s memory.
Phonebook backup: To back up all contact lists in phonebook to your memory card or phone, handset will
automatically generate “PhonebookX.csv” folder under File Manager menu to keep csv format. You might restore them to your phonebook.
Messages
Your phone supports voice mail notification messages and text messages. Voice mails, text message service and multimedia message (MMS) are network service. Please check your service provider for further details on the fees.
SMS/MMS
Write Message
To write a text message:
Main menu> Messages> Write message > Text message.
To write a multimedia message:
For availability to the multimedia messaging service, please contact your network operator or service provider.
Messages> Write message> Multimedia message Select Edit to edit the subject and edit content. (You are able to add text, image, audio, video and attachment into the slide).
Notes:
1. To key in the content, please refer to “Input Method“.
2. To use the picture message function, your network operator or service provider support is necessary. Only
phones equipped with this function can receive and display picture messages.
3. You are not able to receive multimedia messages during any active WAP connection over GPRS data or during
calling.
To send message
After writing a text message > Options>Sent to > enter the phone number you want to send or choose from phonbook
> select SIM1 or SIM 2, Choose Select to send your message.

Inbox
Your phone saves the text messages and multimedia messages that have been received in the Inbox folder.
To read messages
Both multimedia and text message in the same inbox , differentiate by icon . There is a small M on right bottom
of icon to identification multimedia message .
Drafts
Your phone saves the unsent messages in the Drafts folder.
Note: The options list of Draft box is similar to Outbox.
Outbox
You are allowed to read text messages or MMS messages that you sent and saved in the SMS Outbox and MMS Outbox folder.
Note: When reading the message, the option list is similar to Inbox.
Sent messages
You are allowed to read text messages or MMS messages that you sent.
Delete messages
You are able to delete all text messages in Inbox, Outbox, Draft or even all text messages at once.
Email
The E-Mail application to send and receive e-mails. The application supports text and attachments. The e-mail application could be either normal POP3 e-mail client or IMAP4 based e-mail service.
Note: If current incoming protocol is set to IMAP4, and the phone is not currently connected to the network,
when before entering this screen, shall popup a confirmation screen for the user with message “Do you
want to connect to the network? If the user selects “Yes”, then can send list folder request to network; otherwise, directly enter this screen, and all popup hint displays “0 mails.”
Email accounts (Settings): This folder helps you to configure various servers and Profile related settings. Connect: In order to exchange the email, the user has to provide appropriate settings (described in section
Email Profile).
Write Email: This menu To write an email. Inbox: This folder stores the list of emails you have received. Outbox: This folder displays the list of saved sent e-mails. Sent: This folder displays the list of sent mails. Drafts: This folder displays the list of e-mail Draft you saved. Template: This folder helps you for Email template.
Broadcast Message
Your phone to receive commercial messages. You can either enable or disable the receiving mode and set some other settings based on your personal preference. Your phone provides the following selections:
Receive mode: You can choose to receive or reject the broadcast messages.

Channel Settings: You can select channels from the channel list or add a new channel where you want the
messages to be received to the list.
Languages: You can set up the language of the broadcast messages you want to receive. Read Message: You can read messages here.
Templates
There are several default text message and MMS templates in your phone.
Message Settings
Your phone to set up default setting on the text message and MMS features.
Profile Settings: If more than one message profiles are allowed by your SIM, you may edit the profiles
separately.
Voicemail server: You can set voice mail number and make call to listen your voice mail. Common Settings: You may select whether to enable or disable the Delivery Report and Reply Path. Memory status:Let you know the usage rate of you text message in phone and SIM. Preferred Storage: To change your preferred storage as SIM or phone. Preferred connection: To change your preferred connection to GPRS or GSM.
MMS message provide the following options to customize:
Data account: You may receive and send multimedia messages through a certain network or service
provider. To activate a profile setting, choose a profile and select Activate Account.
Below menu is inside Common Setting
Compose: You can set compose format based on the option listed below.
Slide time: define timer to slide to next page . Creation Mode: If you select Restricted, the device prevents you from sending messages that may
not be supported. To include content in your message without notifications, select Free.
Auto Signature: Define whether you want to add a signature at the end of an MMS automatically. Signature: Define your signature text , if you set Auto Signature on this text will be added
automatic into message.
Sending: This setting contains following options:
Validity Period; Delivery Report; Read Report; Priority; Delivery Time; Send and save .
Retrieval: This settings contains following options:
Home Network; Roaming; Read Report;
Delivery Report;
Filters: This option contains following options:
Anonymous;
Advertisement;

File Manager
In this menu, you can manage images, audio, music, photos, and other contents you have downloaded. Two storages will be displayed:
To check files saved in the File Manager
Main menu> File> Memory Card (if you insert the memory card in)/Phone> select the folder you want to check
Choose Options:
Open: To open the selected folder. New Folder: To create a new folder under the selected folder. Rename: To rename the selected folder. Delete: To delete the selected folder. Sort By: To arrange your folder by time, type, size, or name.
Organizer
Stopwatch
Typical stopwatch :There are split timing and lap timing inside . nWay stopwatch: in this mode you record timing with navigator key .
Alarm
This function to set the alarm to ring at the time specified. The alarm clock works even when the phone is switched off.
Calendar
This feature to keep track of your schedule and tasks saved in the calendar. You can also switch on the alarm with the task for reminding.
To Do List
This feature lists out all your tasks. You can also add, view, edit or delete the tasks from the options under this feature.
Memo
Choose Add to add a memo. You are allowed to edit the content.After you complete the content, you can choose to save the memo.
World Clock
You can view a world city via press navigate key. When the cross points out a certain city, it will show the local date and time.
Note: If you want to change the home city, please go to the Set Home City option in Date And Time submenu of
Settings.
Calculator
The calculator applies simple calculator function such as addition, subtraction, multiplications and division.
Units Converter
This feature helps you to convert either the weight, length measurements to a different unit.
Health
There are two features in the Health option: BMI and Menstrual.
BMI (Body Mass Index)
This function helps to calculate your body fat in relation to your height and weight.

Menstrual
This feature helps to calculate a lady’s menstrual cycle and provide the following:
Probability of becoming pregnant on the current period. Period during which it is possible to become pregnant date of next period.
To check the menstrual cycle
1. Under Menstrual menu, enter the starting date of the Last Mens. Date.
2. Enter the Average Period of the menstrual cycle, and choose OK to display pregnancy probability.
Note: The result may not fit to your physical condition. This is only for reference!
EBook reader
You can read any file in TXT format saved in the memory card. Just copy the file in the folder of [eBook] in the memory card under the directory [File management], and run the ebook feature.
Multimedia
Photo Album
All images from MMS, WAP and camera can be reviewed from here. You may choose to view your images in List Style or Matrix Style.
Video Recorder
You can record a video clip through the built-in camera. The status of your video recorder setting will be displayed on the preview mode.
To start using Video Recorder
Multimedia > Video Recorder> start video recording >save the video clip
Note: The video clip will be saved in Videos folder in File Manager.
Video Player
The folder stores videos saved from your phone or downloaded from your PC. Put your videos in to the folder name videos in phone or micro card root .
Photo Editor
You can edit the photo and slide show files saved in your phone or memory card. The status of your photo editor setting will be displayed on the top of the preview mode.
Your phone provides the following selections for your option:
Photo Artist: To edit the image or photo files saved in your phone or memory card. Image Tiles: To Splits images based on the number of segments per image.
Sound Recorder
The Sound Recorder is a simple sound-recording tool, providing all the required functionalities for you to manage voice files.
To start recording
1. In Multimedia menu, choose Sound Recorder.
2. Choose Options, select Record to start recording.
Notes:
1. During recording, you can pause or stop the voice recording anytime by choose Pause or Stop.

FM Radio
This feature allows you to listen to your favorite FM radio station anytime with frequency ranging from 87.50MHz to
108.00MHz.
Before you start to use FM , plug in headset first . then :
1. Press navigate center key to turn on/off the FM radio.
2. You can choose to either turn on or off the auto search by press * key .
3. Press navigate right and left key to start searching.
4. Press navigate up and down key to change volume.
Melody composer
You can create a melody file. You can use this melody as your Ring Tone, MMS attachment.
Settings
Dual SIM Setting
Your phone supports dual SIM mode which to switch from one to the other as required. Dual-SIM operation allows the use of two services without the need to carry two phones at the same time. If two SIM inserted, provides 4 different SIM settings, including: Dual SIM Open; Only SIM1 Open; Only SIM2 Open; Flight mode.
Display
This feature to personalize your display setting through following options:
Wallpaper: To change wallpaper displayed on the idle screen. Screen Saver: To play different screen savers. Power On display: To set the power-on animation from the system or the file manager. Power off display: To set the power-off animation from the system or the file manager. Standby mode settings: To set data and time /own/operator show or not . Main menu effect: To set main menu effect to add animation above main menu icon. LCD Backlight: To change backlight time and level.
Time and Date
This function to set your home city, view and change the time and date settings in your phone. You can also choose to auto update the date and time.
To set home city
Time and Date > Home City> Select a city> Choose OK
Auto-Update of Date and Time
This function allows the phone to auto-update the time & date through GPRS.
Phone Setting
Schedule Power On/Off
You are allowed to schedule the power on and off time for 4 different time settings.
Language
Note: The option of Automatic depends on your service provider and languages supported by your phone. If you
select Automatic, your phone will auto detect the language supported by your SIM and phone.

Call Settings
SIM1 Call Settings
SIM1 Call Setting provides several options as follows:
Caller ID: To either send or hide your ID during calling or sending out the message. Your phone is defaulted in
Set by Network, which means your ID is determined by your service provider.
Call Waiting: To enable call waiting function. Call Divert: To set the call condition by which calls are diverted to another number. Call Barring: To restrict incoming calls and outgoing calls from your phone. Line Switching (Line1/ Line2): This is a network service to select phone line 1 or 2, which is the subscriber
number for making calls.
Note: If you select Line 2 but not subscribe this network service, you will not be able to make a call.
SIM2 Call Settings
This option to customize SIM2 call settings.
Note: Below is part of Advanced settings .
Blacklist
This function to set reject unknown call or reject numbers in the backlist numbers .

Connection Setting
Bluetooth (BT)
Bluetooth technology enables wireless connections between electronic devices. The Bluetooth connection can be used to listen to stereo music, send images, video, texts.
To start using Bluetooth technology
Your Bluetooth connection needs to be configured prior to operation. Your phone provides the following options:

To send data using Bluetooth connectivity
Select the object your want to send> Options >Send> Bluetooth> Select the device you would like to share following by sending action.
To receive data using Bluetooth connectivity
When you receive data through Bluetooth, a notification message will be popped up to ask if you are willing to accept. If you decide to receive the message, choose Yes and the data will be saved in Received folder of File Manager.
Network Setting
Network selection
Your phone provides you three selections for your SIM1 and SIM2 network connectivity.
1. New search: To refresh your network connectivity before using the network.
2. Select Network: To list the network list for your selection if you select Manual mode.
3. Selection Mode: To make operator selection by Manual or Automatic.
Preferences
Preferences is used when the network selection under Automatic mode. The location numbers in the preferred
network list show the search priority. Your service provider’s network will be shown in the display. This feature helps you to select your GSM/GPRS network if your service provider does provide more than one network choice. However, please make sure you have applied for the international roaming service when you are traveling abroad.

Security Setting
SIM1 Setting
This function to activate password to protect your phone against unauthorized use.
PIN Lock: This function to lock the phone with a specific SIM card. The feature is designed to prevent the use
of your SIM cards by means of another person’s phone if your SIM cards lost. You can switch on or off to
activate the PIN Lock function.
SIM2 Setting
Note: The options list of SIM2 Setting is similar to SIM1 Setting.
Phone security
You can switch on or off to activate the phone lock function to protect your phone. If you switch Phone Lock on, you
need to enter the password to set the request on. The default password is “1122”.
Auto Keypad Lock
This to lock the phone’s keypad to prevent accidental key pressed. You allow to lock keypad with long press # key in idle screen .
Restore Factory Settings
This function to reset the most of the phone setting to the original setting when it is produced. The phone lock password is needed to access this function.
Services
Services describe in the following are supported by your service provider. you might contact with your service provider If you cannot connect services.
WAP (Internet service)
Your phones support Web Browse; from it you can obtain various services such as up-to date news, weather, sport, and other information as well as use e-mail and other Internet services.
Notes:
1. To activate WAP service, you may need to contact your service provider.
2. Do not switch the phone on when the wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.
Homepage
To access the browser from the standby mode, go to WAP in Services and select Homepage. Once connected, the homepage is displayed. To exit the browser, press the End Key.

Bookmarks
You can use this menu to save URL addresses to quick access a website.
Recent Pages
You can view the recent pages you have visited.

GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is use for sending and receiving data over the mobile network. The applications that use GPRS are WAP services, MMS messaging. Below is part of settings:

STK (SIM Tool Kit)
In addition to the functions available in the phone, your service provider may offer additional applications such as weather or stock market information via the SIM card. This function is only supported when a SIM card inserted. The submenu of this feature depends on the operator and different operators may provide different services (some SIM cards do not support STK), which cannot be modified.

Data Account
Default data accounts based on major operators at the time this phone is manufactured are provided. You can access WAP GPRS. You may need to contact your operator for the service.
Camera
Main menu> Camera> Options to personalize your camera setting;The setting can be changed by hot key in preview mode .
Note: Do not use this feature when it violates local laws.
Note: The photo will be saved in the Photos folder in File Manager menu.
Note: This LED light is for indicating only.
Music Player
Enter the music player via main menu> listen to the music, speech, or even listen to an English lesson> download the music content via USB> listen to the music through the headset or loudspeaker.
Note: If you rename My Music folder name from the submenu of File Manager or via PC, the music tracks will not be
detected and generated into your song play list. If the user switches off the phone and then switch it on again, another My Music folder will be created automatically by the phone with no tracks inside unless you input new song tracks.
Play the music
Option > Play List to add music from memory card or phone memory; You use the music player next time> choose Option to access the following options:
Play: play the selected song immediately. Detail: show some detail information about the song you playing, Size /artist etc. . Refresh List: refresh play lists according to your personal preference, in addition to the default play list. Settings: select your preferred play list from memory card or phone memory, to turn on auto refresh play list,
and to activate or deactivate background play. You can also turn on or off shuffle and repeat.

GPRS
Both two SIM cards support GPRS functions. GPRS function of one SIM card will be inactive when the other SIM card communicates with base station.
Battery Care
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery.
The voltage range of the phone battery is 3.2 V - 4.2 V. Unplug the travel charger when not in use.
Overcharging may shorten its lifetime, and if left unused a fully charged battery may discharge itself over time. Never store or charge battery in extreme hot or cold temperature, or will shorten the life of your phone and
battery.
Do not leave the battery inside of your car, since extreme temperature might cause damage to your battery. Avoiding short-circuiting battery. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations or manufacturer’s instructions. Do not dispose of
batteries in a fire.
Battery life will depend on network configuration, product settings, usage patterns, battery and
environmental conditions. CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.

PIN code
SIM card usually supplies the PIN code. If the incorrect PIN code occurred three times in succession, you may need to key in PUK code.
PIN2 code
The PIN2 code may be supplied with the SIM card. Some functions will require PIN2 support, such as Set tariff.
PUK code (Personal Unlocking Key)
The PUK codeis to change a blocked PIN code. The PUK2 code is required to change a blocked PIN2 code. If you key in an incorrect PIN2 code three times in succession, you may need to key in the PUK2 code. If ten times in succession, then need to contact your service provider for a new card.
Phone code
Phone code protects the phone against unauthorized use. Can change the phone code (1122) to any four to eight-digit personal codes.
Radio frequency energy
Your mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. When the phone is turned on, it receives and transmits radio frequency (RF) energy. Depending on the type of mobile phone you posses, it operates on different frequency ranges and employs commonly used modulation techniques. The system handles your call when you are using your phone and it also controls the power level at which your phone transmits.
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) information.
Your phone has been designed to comply with applicable safety requirements for exposure to radio waves. These requirements are based on scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. These guidelines include safety margins designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The radio wave exposure guidelines employ a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or
SAR. Tests for SAR are conducted by using standardized method with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all used frequency bands.
While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various i-Mobile phone models, they are all
designed to meet the relevant guidelines for exposure to radio waves.
