Insert E 925 for short MIS instruments

Please read the Warning and Safety instructions in the operating Instructions for your G 7827/28 or PG 8527/28 Washer-disinfector carefully. You should only process instruments/medical products in this insert if they have been declared as suitable for machine processing by the manufacturer. Please also observe the manufacturer's care instructions. The programme selected must be suitable for the materials from which the medical devices to be processed are made. Where possible the programme should include thermal disinfection. The final rinse should, if possible, always be carried out with fully demineralised water.

If using automatic mobile unit recognition, please make sure that the coding is correctly set.

Insert E 925, H 40, W 568, D 510 mm, fitted with:

20 silicone holders for adapters, injector sleeves and nozzles

2 notched rails for positioning the instruments

The insert is supplied with:

1 x E 336 injector sleeve for instruments, 121 mm long, 11 mm

2 x E 362 blanking screws

1 E 442 injector sleeve for instruments, 121 mm long, 11 mm, with cap 6 mm

2 x female Luer Lock adapters for male Luer locks E 447

4 x E 448 silicone tubes with screw thread, 300 mm long, 5 mm and Luer Lock-Adapter

2 x female Luer Lock adapters for male Luer locks E 449

4 x E 452 jets, 2.5 x 60 mm, with screw thread

3 x E 453 jets, 4.0 x 110 mm, with retaining clip and screw thread

3 x E 454 jets for trocar sleeves, 10-15 mm, with screw thread

1 x E 464 adapter for E 454 jet

1 x E 472 clamp for jets 4 mm

1 x E 907 insert/mesh tray with lid for small instruments

Areas of application:

Insert E 925 can be used in mobile injector unit E 909 for MIS surgical instruments. The mobile unit comes with its own instructions.

The E 925 is designed for cleaning and disinfecting short MIS instruments, e.g. those used for arthroscopy or laparascopy.

Instruments up to 190 mm long can be placed in the upper level, and up to 220 mm long in the lower level.

Before loading the machine and before starting a programme, please check that:

– the silicone holders in the rinsing mechanism are intact and complete.

Missing or water-damaged silicone holders must be replaced with new ones Only then may the insert be used again. If these conditions are present silicone holders standardise the pressure themselves.

Damaged jets, adapters or sleeves etc. must not be used.

For validation purposes please make sure that you follow the loading instructions given on the template.

All MIS instruments must be dismantled for processing in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Long, narrow lumen instruments which cannot be taken apart must be pre-washed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Before connecting a hollow instrument please make sure that all hollow sections are free of blockages. Otherwise the cleaning solution will not be able to access all areas properly.

Instruments should not be able to come into contact with one another during the cleaning and disinfecting process.

Any hollow instruments that have become disconnected from the adapters during processing must be reprocessed.

Injector sleeves

Injector sleeve E 442 is for processing hollow instruments and instruments with a Ø less than 8 mm.

The diameter of the instruments should match that of the opening to the injector sleeves/caps.

Insert trocar sleeves with a Ø less than 10 mm into the rinsing tube. Connect at the side with hose adapter E 448. Connect the hose adapter to the rinsing system using a silicone holder .

Insert hollow trocars into injector sleeves.

Connect at the side of the instruments using an E 448 hose adaptor, and insert the hose adaptor into a silicone holder.
