C: INSTALLATION
Connecting Tubing
This system includes push-in quick connectors for quick tubing connection.
Read the following instructions before connecting the tubing in the next steps.
Cut tubing to a suitable length
●Use a sharp cutter to cut the end of tubing. Always cut the
tubing square.
●Inspect the end (about 30 mm) of the tubing to be sure
there are no nicks, scratches or other rough spots. If needed,
cut the tubing again.
Connect the tubing
Push tubing through the collet until it engages the o-ring.
Continue pushing until the tube bottoms out against the back
of the fitting. A common mistake is to stop pushing when the
tubing partially engages the o-ring. This will lead to future
leakage. When fully engaged, 20 mm of the tubing has
entered the fitting.

and push the inlet tubing into the quick connector of the tee-joint. Apply white Teflon tape on the
threads at the connection when necessary. A typical installation is show below.

Installing Drinking Faucet
1. Drill a hole with a diameter of 15 mm through one of the following options of flat horizontal
surface. Be sure there is room in the under-sink compartment below so that you can make the
necessary connections and house the System.
● Corner of the rim of the sink
● Counter-top next to the sink
2. Line up and connect the drinking faucet and its components as shown on the right. Ensure full
tightening.
3. Ensure that the faucet base lies flat against the surface at the selected location.
4. Push the outlet tubing into the quick connector. Refer to Connecting the Tubing for details.
Mounting the System
1. Fix the bracket to the manifold of the System.
2. Mount the System vertically onto a vertical surface in the under-sink compartment.
3. Hang the unit on the hanger washers. Ensure a minimum height allowance of 40 mm below the
cartridge to enable easy cartridge replacement in future.
Connecting To Water Supply
Connect the drinking faucet to the System using the outlet tubing, and connect the System to the
water supply using the inlet tubing. For ease of service and maintenance, keep sufficient length of
tubing for easy movement of the System in the under-sink compartment.

D: USING THE PRODUCT
Start-up
Purging the system and checking for leakage
Turn on the drinking faucet and let water flow through the system for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, check
connections for water leakage, and correct leakage should any be found.
The system is ready for use upon completion of the purging action.
Dispensing Drinking Water
To dispense drinking water from the System, turn on the drinking faucet and let water flow through
the System.
Cartridge Replacement
1. Lift up and twist the cartridge clockwise to release it from the manifold. Discard the expended
cartridge.
2. Install a new cartridge by twisting it anti-clockwise and pushing it up against the manifold at the
same time.
3. Perform purging as described in Start-up before resuming usage.
E: MAINTAINING THE PRODUCT
1. To ensure good drinking water quality, it is strongly recommended that cartridge replacement is
performed promptly when the cartridge has reached its full capacity, whichever takes place
earlier.
2. Perform purging as described in Start-up after prolonged period of non-usage, such as 3 days.
3. If the system will not be used for more than 7 days, it is highly recommended to remove and
store the cartridge in a refrigerator (non-freezer compartment). To resume usage, install the
cartridge back into the System (see Cartridge Replacement) and perform purging (see Start-up).
