Special Advice:
When the water heater is working, gas combustion would consume a large amount of oxygen and exhaust much carbon monoxide. In view of the great harm to the human health or even death caused by excessive carbon monoxide inhalation, the company sincerely advises all users that:
Do not install the water heater in the bathroom;
Install and use the water heater strictly in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the instructions; install a smoke pipe to exhaust
waste gases to the outdoor;
Make sure the room installed with the water heater has enough fresh air and is well-ventilated.

1. Water Control Automatic Ignition: Simply open the water valve and the igniter will ignite automatically with the hot water immediately available.
2. Water Temperature Regulation: Regulate the water temperature at any temperature.
3. Flue-type Exhaust Device: Exhaust waste gases outside to maintain the indoor air fresh.
4. Season Change: The model with a season change knob can increase the adjustable outlet water temperature range by operating the season change knob, thus saving gas in summer.
5. Low Water Pressure Start-up: Low start-up water pressure with a broad scope of application.
6. Steady Water Volume: Effectively avoid the impact of water pressure fluctuation on the water volume and the outlet water temperature; and prevent the outlet water not hot due to too high water pressure.
7. Flame-out Protection: The water heater will automatically cut off the gas to ensure the gas not leaked when it flames out accidentally during the use.
8. Water-gas Linkage Control: The water heater will automatically stop combustion and shut down when the supply of tap water is suspended or the water valve is shut off.
9. Over-pressure Protection: When the pressure of the water supply is too high, the safety valve of the water heater can automatically relieve pressure to avoid any damage to the water heater.
10. Anti-freezing Protection: When the water heater is used in cold areas where the outdoor temperature is below 0
°C
, the anti-freezing
drain valve
is set to drain the water from the water heater to avoid any damage to the water heater caused by the water freezing in the water heater.
11. Thermal Protection: The water heater will automatically cut off the gas and stop working when the temperature of the water flowing out from the water heater exceeds 90
°C
or dry burning occurs.
12. 20-minute Timing Protection: The water heater will automatically cut off the gas and power off after a 20-minute continuous operation. The water heater can continue working only after a restart.
*13. Outlet Water Temperature Display: A specific outlet water
temperature display function.
14. High Energy Efficiency Grade: The energy efficiency grade conforms to the requirements of the National Standards on Energy Efficiency (GB20665-2006). The thermal efficiency of grade2 energy efficiency is >88% and that of grade 3 >84%. See the energy efficiency label on the front side of the water heater.
Model Instruction
is the product code of the domestic gas instantaneous water heater; D is the gas exhaust mode: Flue-type; represents the rated thermal load (kW); represents the yield capacity of the hot water (kg/min); represents the product serial number.
For example: JSD12-6DB represents that
1. The product is a domestic gas instantaneous water heater;
2. The gas exhaust mode is flue-type;
3. The rated thermal load is 12kW;
4. The yield capacity of the hot water is 6kg/min;
5. The product is a DB series product.

Installation of the Water Heater
Prior to the installation of the water heater, please contact the local gas company or the gas management department to select qualified gas pipe, pressure regulating valve, steel cylinder, clamp, smoke exhaust pipe and so on. You must entrust a qualified and specialized technician to install the gas water heater. (Note: The user cannot install the gas water heater himself/herself, since an improper installation can bring a great impact on the safety performance, or even threaten the user’s life.) Prior to the installation, please reconfirm whether the type of gas you are using agrees with the type of gas specified on the rating plate of the water heater.
This water heater is a flue gas water heater, which can be used only after all exhaust gases vented to the outdoors in strict accordance with the requirements. It is forbidden to use this water heater if the smoke exhaust pipe fails to be correctly installed according to the requirements in this manual.
Since each user has his/her own building structure, this company cannot provide a uniform smoke exhaust pipe. The user can purchase his/her proper smoke exhaust pipe based on his/her own building structure.
Installation Requirements
1. Do not install the water heater in bathrooms;
2. Do not install the water heater in a place where there is strong wind, otherwise the flame of the water heater will be blown out or an incomplete combustion will occur.
3. Do not install the water heater in the outdoors.
4. Do not install the water heater in a confined room. Install it in a well-ventilated room with a volume more than
7.5 m³. There should be an air inlet with an area more than 0.06connected to the outdoors. A smoke exhaust pipe must be also installed.
5. Install the water heater in a place where the line of sight and the viewport are at the same level, that is,
1.55~1.65m above the ground, and where the water heater is distant from combustibles.
6. Do not place any electric open wire, electric appliance or gas pipeline above the installation site of the water heater. Keep a horizontal distance more than 40cm between the water heater and electric appliances. Do not install any gas appliance such as the gas oven and the gas range underneath the water heater.
7. Keep a distance greater than 150mm between the water heater and the surrounding walls and the ceiling. Build the installation site with noncombustible materials. Otherwise, insulate the water heater with a heat insulating panel. The distance between the insulating panel and the surrounding walls should be greater than 10mm.
8. Install an inlet valve in the water inlet pipe of the water heater.
9. Place the vent of the smoke exhaust pipe in the outdoors.
10. For liquefied petroleum gas users, select qualified gas pressure regulating valves and hoses to ensure the water heater a proper operation and security use; for pipeline gas users, ask the gas company or the relevant management authority to connect gas pipes.
After the flue gas water heater is installed with a smoke exhaust pipe, during the use, do not turn on any mechanical ventilation equipment such as the smoke exhaust ventilator and the exhaust fan in the room where the water heater is installed or to which the water heater is connected.
Note: The connectors at the bottom would be in a
different order for different models. Make the real object as the standard during the connection.
