• 7/16" Wrench or Socket

INTRODUCTION

NOTE: If using the vertical plastic fingers option, it must be installed prior to assembling your rear

rackrail into the SR enclosure. For more information, refer to the SR Series Vertical Plastic Fingers
Option instruction sheet (I-00861).

INSTALLATION

1. Slide (4x) rackrail nuts (A) into rackrail bracket channels as shown. (FIGURE A)

2. Use (4x) screws (B) through a rear rackrail adapter (C) and into rackrail nuts (A) as shown.

TIP: Hold rackrail nut in place on the rackrail bracket channel with one hand, while threading a screw
through the rear rackrail adapter and into the nut with the other.

NOTE:

• Hand-tighten screws at this point to allow for adjustments.

• On 24 space SR enclosures, use (2x) rackrail nuts (A) and (2x) screws (B) for installation.

3. Repeat the process using the other rear rackrail and
hardware on the other side of the SR enclosure’s
interior.

4. Position rear rackrails evenly in your desired location
along the rackrail brackets.

5. Tighten all screws.
