Thank you for purchasing the Essex DOOR-S / DOOR-P Universal Door Kit. Please read these
instructions thoroughly before installing this product.

NOTE: Essex Locking Side Panels (Side-XX-XX) are required on QAR Series when installing
front or rear doors.

TOOLS REQUIRED

• #2 Phillips Screwdriver

INSTALLATION

1) Pivot lower hinge into rack. (FIGURE A)

2) Pull upper hinge to retract pin and pivot door into rack.

DOOR REVERSAL PROCEDURE

1) Remove (2) Phillips head screws securing cam as shown. (FIGURE B)

2) Remove (2) Phillips head screws and (2) washers securing handle as shown. (FIGURE C)

3) Rotate handle upside-down and re-install in reverse manner.

4) Lift and twist door hinges to remove
door as shown. (FIGURE D)

5) Re-install door as described in step #1.

GROUNDING AND BONDING

Protective Earth Terminals (PET) are located in backpan
of the wall rack. These terminals are marked with the
symbol Wall rack parts, center section and door, contain
or are provided with bonding points for connection to the
backpan / PET. Protective earth and bonding connections
shall be in accordance with Article 250 of the National
Electric Code.

1) Attach bonding wire to bonding points using
