Verify stability legs/wheels are engaged before fully extending slides. Legs/wheels will automatically drop as slides are pulled forward. Without legs/wheels in place, a serious unstable condition can occur which may cause possible serious injury or damage to the equipment.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1) Access to the underside of credenza is required for mounting SRSR base to credenza.
2) It is preferred to install C5-D SRSR bay prior to installing C5 wood side panels and doors. If wood is installed, bay door must be removed prior C5-D SRSR installation. (Refer to Page 6 Figure I for door removal instructions)
3) Prior to installing the SRSR into the C5 -D you must remove the two front rackrails (using a 7/16” wrench). Remove the Phillips head screw affixing the lacer bar to the rackrail. Once the rail is removed, reattach the lacer bar. (See Below)

ASSEMBLY
1) Install both cable management supports to SRSR base using one (1) 5/16” - 18 flange nut and two (2) #10-32 x 1/2” hex head screws per side. (FIGURE A)
2) Using provided #10-32 rack screws, install lacer bars to cable management supports with flat side facing up and edge on outside of supports as shown. (FIGURE B)

3) Observe rackrail labels for proper orientation and install front and rear rackrail pairs to rack frame using two (2) 5/16” - 18 flange nuts per rail. (FIGURE C)
NOTE: Hand-tighten only.

4) Install squaring panels one third of the way down from top of front and rear rackrail using four (4) #10-32 rack screws per panel. (FIGURE D)

7) Extend the sliding carriage on the SRSR base. (FIGURE F)
8) Remove four (4) wing nuts beneath the sliding carriage to release the rack frame. (FIGURE F)
9) Lift the rack frame off sliding carriage using the provided handles. (FIGURE F)

10) With sliding carriage extended, position the SRSR base inside the credenza for mounting.

11) Align SRSR base mounting holes with credenza mounting holes and secure SRSR base to credenza using eight (8) 1/4” - 20 machine screws and eight (8) 1/4” - 20 flange nuts. (FIGURE G)

12) Place rack frame on sliding carriage using provided handles. (FIGURE F)
NOTE: Mounting studs on underside of rack frame must be inserted into mounting holes in sliding carriage.
13) Re-install the rack frame to the sliding carriage using four (4) wing nuts. (FIGURE F)
14) Depress the lockout lever on the front of the sliding carriage and push the rack frame into the credenza.

SRSR ROTATING SLIDING RAIL SYSTEM
To rotate the sliding carriage, pull rotating tab as shown below (FIGURE H). The sliding carriage conveniently locks in the 60º and 90º positions for servicing. The the 0º position locks for closure.

NOTE: When opening and extending the rack bay,
the credenza door for that bay must be removed to accommodate the rotation of the sliding carriage. Refer to the steps below or the C5-D Deep Credenza Rack assembly instructions I-00565 for door removal information.

CABLE MANAGEMENT TIPS
• Route cables in the direction of the rack rotation as shown. (FIGURE J)
• Select one side of rack for signal cables, and the opposite side for power cables.
• Lace cables as shown, ensuring cables are fairly taut. This ensures that the service loop will be the correct length and not be pinched when closing the rack.

WARRANTY
Middle Atlantic Products (the "Company") warrants the C5-D SRSR Series Rotating Sliding Rail System for C5-D Deep Credenza Rack to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use and conditions for a period of (3) three years from date of shipment by the Company.
The Company's entire liability to the purchaser, and the purchaser's (or any other party's) sole and exclusive remedy, under this warranty shall be limited, at the Company's option, to either (a) return of and refund of the price paid for, or (b) repair or replacement at the Company's factory of the products purchased, or any part or parts thereof, which the Company has determined to be defective after inspection thereof at the Company's factory.
This warranty does not cover damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse or negligence by parties other than the Company, or any modification or alteration of the products. In addition, this warranty does not cover damage due to improper handling, assembly, installation or maintenance.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS PURCHASED, EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE COMPANY'S LIABILITY TO THE PURCHASER (OR ANY OTHER PARTY) HEREUNDER, IF ANY, SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS PAID TO THE COMPANY.
