1 Plug the charger into your car’s power
outlet. The light on the charger indicates
that power is available.
Connect the cable to your Zune.

3 To select a station:
• Press and hold
to start AutoSeek. AutoSeek will stop
or for 1 second
when it nds an optimal station.
• To manually tune to a specic station,
press or repeatedly.
4 Tune your radio to the station displayed on
the FM transmitter.
Now you’re ready to rock. Use your car stereo
to adjust the volume.
The FM transmitter remembers your mostrecently tuned station. You can also store two
stations as presets for easy, one-touch tuning
in different areas:
• Press and hold a preset button to save a
station. The display ashes to indicate that
the station has been saved.
• Press and release a preset button to recall
a station.

The FM transmitter clips magnetically to the
back of the charger.
The transmitter’s antenna is in the cable that
connects to your Zune. To improve reception,
try moving Zune farther from the transmitter.
• The included grip pad gives you a stable
surface for your Zune.
• Press any button on the FM transmitter to
activate the backlight.
• When power is present, Zune wakes
when you press one of its buttons.
• The FM transmitter draws power
whenever it’s connected to a power outlet
and power is present. If the light is on, it’s
drawing power.
To avoid draining your car battery, unplug
the charger when it’s not in use for an
extended period.
