General information
■ Access codes
When the device or keypad is locked, calls may be possible
to the official emergency number programmed into your

recognise the number to be an official emergency number.
It is advisable to change the profile or unlock the device by
entering the lock code before you make the emergency
call.
To activate the device when it is locked, enter the lock
code. The default lock code is 1234.
To define the security settings for your device, select

■ Voice dialing
You can make a phone call by saying the name that is

dialling, you must record a voice tag in your device.
Before using voice tags, note the following:
• Voice tags are not language-dependent. They are
dependent on the speaker’s voice.
• You must say the name exactly as your said it when
you recorded it.
22
• Voice tags are sensitive to background noise. Record
voice tags and use them in a quiet environment.
• Very short names are not accepted. Use long names,
and avoid similar names for different numbers.
Note: Using voice tags may be difficult in a noisy
environment or during an emergency, so you
should not rely solely upon voice dialling in all
circumstances.

down. A short tone sounds, and Speak now is displayed. To
deactivate voice dialling, select Quit.
