Important Safety Information
AC-Powered Devices
These pre caution s apply to all pro ducts that plug into a stan dard wall power outlet.
Failure to take the following pr ecautio ns can result in serious injury or death from elec tric shock or
re or in damage to the device.
To select an appropriate power source for your device:
● Use only the power supply uni t and AC power cord that came with your device or that you receive d from
an authorized repair ce nter.
● Conrm that your electrical outlet provides the type of power indicated on the power supply unit (in
terms of volt age [V ] and frequency [Hz]). If you are not sure of the t ype of power supplied to your home,
consult a qualied elec trician.
● Do not use non-standard power sour ces, such as ge nerator s or inverters, even if the voltage and
frequency appear acceptable. Only use AC power provid ed by a standard wall outlet.
● Do not overlo ad your wall outlet, ext ension cord, power str ip, or other ele ctrical recepta cle. Conrm that they are rated to handle th e total current (in amps [A]) drawn by the device (indicated on the power
supply unit) an d any other devices that are on th e same circuit .
To avoid damaging the power cords and power supply :
● Protect the power cord s from being walked on.
● Protect cords from be ing pinched or sharply be nt, particularly where they connect to the power outlet ,
the power supply unit, and the device.
● Do not jerk , knot, sharply bend , or otherwise abuse th e power cords.
● Do not expos e the power cor ds to sources of heat.
● Keep children and pets away from the powe r cords. Do not allow them to bite or chew on them.
● When disconnecting the power cor ds, pull on the plug—do not pull on the cord.
If a power cord or power supply becomes damaged in any way, stop using it immediately. Unplug your device during lightning s torms or when unused for long period s of time.
For devices with an AC power cord that connec ts to the power supply, always co nnect the power cord according to the followin g instruc tions:
1 Plug the AC power cord into the power supply until it stops. 2 Plug the other end of the AC power cord into the wall outlet.

Battery-Powered Devices
These pre caution s apply to all pro ducts that use rechargeable or disp osable batterie s.
Improper use of batteries may result in batter y uid leak age, overh eating, or explosion. Released batter y uid is corrosive and may be toxic. It can cause skin and eye bur ns, and is harmful if swallowed.
To reduce the risk of injur y:
● Keep batteries out of re ach of children.
● Do not heat, open, punc ture, mutilate, or dispo se of batteries in re.
● Do not mix new and old batteries or batteries of dif ferent t ypes (for example, car bon-zinc and
alkaline batterie s).
● Do not allow metal objec ts to touch the battery terminals on the device; they can become hot and
cause burns.
● Remove the batteries if they are worn out or before storing your device for an extended period of time.
● Always remove old, weak , or worn-out batteries promptly and rec ycle or dispos e of them in accordance
with Local and National Di sposal Regulations .
● If a batter y leaks , remove all batteries, taking care to keep the leaked uid from to uching your sk in or clothes. If uid from the batter y comes into cont act with sk in or clothes , ush skin with water
immediately. Before inserting new batteries, thoroughly cle an the battery compartment with a damp paper towel, or follow the batter y manufac turer’s recommenda tions for cleanup.
Disposable (non-r echargeable) batterie s only:
Caution Risk of explosion if batter y is replaced by an incorrect typ e. Use and rep lace only with the correc t size and type (alkaline, zinc-carb on, or zinc-chloride) of bat teries .
Rechar geable batteries only:
Caution Risk of explosion if batter y is replaced by an incorrect typ e. Use and rep lace only with the same
type and rating as the bat teries provided .
● Charge only with the recharger provi ded with the pr oduct.
Headset Devices
Extended exposure to high volum es when using a headset may result in temporary or permanent
hearing lo ss.
Wireless Devices
Before bo arding any aircraft or packing a wireless device in luggage that will be checked, remove the
batter ies from the wireless de vice or turn the wireless device off ( if it has an on/off s witch). Wireless device s can transmit radio frequency (R F) energy, much like a cellular telephone, whenever batteries are installed and the wireless devic e is turned on (if it has an on/off sw itch).

Keyboard and Mouse Devices
Health Warning
Use of a keyboar d or mouse may be linked to serious injuries or disorders.
When using a computer, as with many activities, you may experience occasional discomfo rt in your hands, arms, sho ulders , neck, or oth er part s of your body. However, if you experience symptoms such as per sistent
or recurring discomfo rt, pain, throbbin g, aching, tingling, numbness, burning sens ation, or stiffness, DO NOT IGNORE THESE WARNING SIGNS. PROMP TLY SEE A QUALIFIED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, even if symptoms occur when you are not working at your comp uter. Symptoms like th ese can be associated with painful and sometimes permanently disabling injuries or disorders of the ner ves, muscles, ten dons, or
other par ts of the body. These musculoskeletal disorder s (MSDs) include carpal tunn el syndrome, tendo nitis,
tenosynovitis, and other conditions.
While researchers are not yet able to an swer many que stions about MSDs, the re is general agreement that many facto rs may be linked to their occurrence, including: overall health, str ess and how one copes with it , medical an d physical co nditions , and how a person positions and uses his or her body during work and oth er
activities (inclu ding use of a keybo ard or mouse). The amount of time a person per forms an ac tivit y may also
be a factor.
Some guidelines that may he lp you work more comfort ably with your computer and possibly reduce your
risk of experiencing an MSD can be found in the “Healthy Computing Guide” installe d with this device’s software. If this device did not come with soft ware, you can access the “Healthy Computing Guide” at www.microsof t.com/hardware or (in the United St ates only) by ca lling (800) 36 0-7561 to request a CD at
no charge.

Devices with Laser Pointers
Caution Use of controls or adjustments, or per forman ce of procedures other than those specied here in
may result in ha zardous radiation exposure.
● Do not stare into beam.
● Do not shine a las er pointer at anyone. Laser pointer s are designed to illuminate inanimate objects.
● Do not allow minors to use a pointer unsuper vised. Laser po inters are not toys.
● Do not point a las er pointer at a mir ror-like (re ective) sur face. A reected beam can act like a direct
beam on the eye.
● Do not disas semble the device.
● Do not use the device outside of its specied operating temperature rang e +41ºF (+5ºC) to +95ºF (+35ºC). If the dev ice is exposed to an environ ment outside of its pres cribed operation, turn off the device an d allow the temp erature to stabilize within the speci ed operating range before using
the device.

Do not attempt to take apar t, open, service, or modif y the hardwa re device or power supply. Doin g so could present the risk of elec tric shock or other hazar d. Any evidence of any attempt to open and/or mo dify the device, including any peeling, punc turing, or removal of any of th e labels, will void the Limited Warrant y.

A Class 1 laser pr oduct is safe under reasonably fo reseeable conditions of operation as described by IEC

避免损坏电源线和电源:
防止人员在电源线上走动。

不要猛拉、打结、严重折弯或不当使用电源线。
不要将电源线暴露在热源中。
使儿童和宠物远离电源线。不要让他们啃咬或咀嚼电源线。
在断开电源线时,请拿住插头拔出,不要拿住电源线拔出。
如果电源线或电源由于任何原因受到损坏,请立即停止使用。如果出现雷雨天气或者长期不用设备,请拔出设备。 如果设备带有连接电源的交流电源线,请始终按照以下说明连接电源线:
1 将交流电源线插入电源,直到插不动为止。 2 将交流电源线的另一端插入墙体插座。
使用电池的设备

无线设备
