Open the back cover and remove the battery. Insert the SIM card correctly in the card slot as shown
below.

The Memory Card gives you extra storage capacit y for
content such as pictures, music and video clips.
Do not remove the memory card while reading or
writing to the card. Doing so may cause data corruption on the card or on the phone.
Insert the memory card into the memory card slot with the
gold colored contacts facing down (as shown in figure).

Use only compatible memory cards approved by
Micromax. Incompatible cards may damage the slot or corrupt the data stored in the card.
While connecting your phone to a PC its SD card
inserted, you must follow your computer’s
instructions for connecting and disconnecting USB devices, to avoid damaging or corrupting the files on

Connect the charger to the charger jack on the phone as
shown below.
When charging is finished, unplug the USB adaptor.

Left key
Enters main menu from Home Sc reen. Performs
functions in the lower left display.
Right key
Enter Contacts menu from Home Screen. Acts as
right function key in all interfaces.
End key
Hang up a call; reject an incoming call; g o back to
standby screen; long press to switch on/off the phone.
Number
keys
In standby screen, long press 2-9 key to speed
dial (need setting). In radio mode, press 1-9 to access the existing channels.

To switch ON your phone, press and hold the End key for a
few seconds.
To turn OFF your phone, press and hold down the End key
for a few seconds.
If the phone lock has been activated in the phone’s security
settings, you need to enter the 4-digit password to unlock the phone. Go to Settings>Security>Phone Lock (The preset unlock code is 0000).
To unlock the phone, press the Left key and then t he * key. Follow the same method to lock the phone as shown in the following figure.

You can make a call in the following ways:
Enter the desired number from Home screen and press
the Call Key.
Menu> Contacts and then select and dial the desired
number.
Just press the Call key from Home screen to dial the
contacts listed in Call logs.
You can also dial a contact from the messages.
Press and hold ‘*’ Key till ‘+’ appears on the screen. Enter the country code, area code and phone number, and
press the dial key.

For example, to dial a number in France, press and hold the ‘*’ key (until the “+” sign appears), input 33 (French code) and
then enter the complete phone number.
Press the Call Key to answer a call.
Press the Up and Down navigation key as shown below to change the call volume.

You can read messages and compose/send messages. You can forward, delete, back up or delete selected messages and so on. You can read messages in the inbox, drafts folders and so on.
You can choose various call settings for both CDMA and GSM SIM cards in your handset.

You can choose the phone language as English or Hindi according to your preference.
You can enable auto-answer and your phone will automatically answer calls either after 5 seconds or 10 seconds of an incoming call.
You can enable this option and SMS w ill be sent to the rejected caller.
You can use Music Player, Camera, FM Radio, Sound Recorder, Video Player and Video recorder, BT and so on in multimedia.
Menu F ile Manager
You can view and manage your files available in the Phone or memory card from the fi le Manager. You can rename, view details share, move delete files and so on via the file Manager. You can also format your phone or card memory from here.

Your phone enables you to connect the phone wirelessly to other BT devices and exchange data with them.

The default password to use this feature is 0000.

Please do not put the phone onto any passenger seat or any place from
which it may fall down in case of vehicular collision or emergency braking.
Flight is influenced by interference caused by the phone. It is illegal to use a phone on the airplane. P lease turn off your phone or switch to flight mode during a flight.
Your Phone’s radio waves may interfere with the functioning medical devices.
Consult a physician or the manufacturer of the medical device to determine whether they are adequately shielded from external Radio Frequency. Switch off your device when regulations posted instruct you to do so.
To avoid potential interference with implanted medical devices such as a
pacemaker or cardiover ter defibrillator:
Always keep your phone at least 15.3 centimeters (6 inches) from the
medical device.
Do not carry the wireless device in a breast pocket. Turn off the phone if there is any reason to suspect that interference is
taking place.
Follow the manufacturer directions for the implanted medical device. If you have any questions about using your wireless device with an
implanted medical device, consult your health care provider.
Please turn off your phone when you are close to a gas station or in the vicinity of any place where fuel and chemical preparati ons, or any other dangerous

Your device is a produc t of superior design and craftsmanship and should be
handled with care: The following suggestions will help you protect your phone:
Keep the device dry. If your device gets wet, remove the battery without
turning on the device, wipe it with a dry cloth and take it the service center.

Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal
circuit boards and fine mechanics.
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean
the device. Only use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean the surface of the device.
Do not store your device near magnetic fields or allow your device to come
in contact with magnetic fields for extended period of time.
Location: The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall
be easily accessible.

sunlight. We recommend you to charge the battery at room temperature range.
Batteries have life cycles. If the time that the battery powers equipment
becomes much shorter than usual, the battery life is at an end. Replace the battery with a new battery of the same make and specification.
Use manufacturer approved batteries, chargers, accessories and supplies.
Micromax will not be held responsible for user’s safety when using
unapproved accessories or supplies.
Do not discard the battery with household trash. Please dispose of used
battery according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.

Please use appointed battery in case of explosion risk. Please dispose of lifeless battery under guidance.
