OMNI HZR
Introduction
The OMNI HZR can be operated it through the three buttons (Mode, Up, Down). At the same time , you can adjust the focus through the distance of the lens. It can stock running mode when it is off. You can nd the last running mode when it is powered on next. This product has a temperature protected function. When it is on, it will power off automatically when the temperature is beyond 85°C, this wont impact other combined xtures. When you re-start it can run correctly within 85°C.

Safety Notes
Read all the following Safety Notes before working with this product. These notes include important information about the installation, usage, and maintenance of this product. This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Any reference to servicing in this User Manual will only apply to properly trained MICROH certied technicians. Do not open the housing or attempt any repairs.
All applicable local codes and regulations apply to proper installation of this product.
Personal Safety
• Always disconnect this product from its power source before servicing.
• Always connect this product to a grounded circuit to avoid the risk of
electrocution.
• Do not touch this product’s housing during operation because it may be very hot.
• Do not drink or become in contact with the fog uid. If you do, call your local
emergency service (911 in the CAN/US) for help.
• Mount this product in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20 in (50cm)
from adjacent surfaces.
• Make sure there are no ammable materials close to this product while it is
operating.

Power and Wiring
• Make sure the power cord is not crimped or damaged.
• Always make sure you are connecting this product to the proper voltage
in accordance with the specications in this manual or on the product’s specication label.
• Never connect this product to a dimmer pack or rheostat.
• Never disconnect this product by pulling or tugging on the power cable.
Operation
• Do not operate this product if you see damage to the housing, uid tank, or
cables. Have the damaged parts replaced by an authorized technician at once.
• Be sure that no ventilation slots on the product’s housing are blocked.

When you rst turn on the OMNI HZR it may take a few minutes to warm up. When the warm up has been completed you will have access to various options if the manual remote is not connected.
Press menu to scroll through the various options listed below. Use the Up and Down keys to set the secondary function.

NOTE: P (pump) is setting continuos stand-alone operation and will override any manual remote control of the OMNI HZR.
Mounting and Installation
Mounting Points: Overhead mounting requires extensive experience, including calculating working load limits. A knowledge of the installation material being used and periodic safety inspection of all installation material and the xture are all imperative and should only be performed by a qualied technician. Improper installation can result in bodily injury and damage.
Be sure to complete all rigging and installation procedures before connecting the
main power cord to the appropriate wall outlet.
Clamp Mounting: The MICROH OMNI HZR provides a unique mounting bracket assembly that integrates 2 brackets to be used to mount on a truss or the oor. When mounting this xture to truss, be sure to secure an appropriately rated clamp to the included bracket tted through the center hole. As an added safety measure, be sure to attach at least one properly rated safety cable to the xture.
Regardless of the rigging option you choose for your MICROH OMNI HZR, always be sure to secure your xture with a safety cable. The xture provides a built-in rigging point for a safety cable on the hanging bracket. Be sure to only use the designated rigging point for the safety cable and never secure a safety cable to a carrying handle.
Set Up
Be sure the unit is unplugged from the power source, remove the cap from the tank, and add the `MAXIMUM` fog  uid up to the  uid line. Be sure to not over ll the tank. Replace the cap and plug unit in.
Turn the power switch on; you will notice the tank lights up red. Once the unit is ready for use, the illuminated tank will change to blue. Heat up will take 3-5 minutes.
Remote
The OMNI HZR can be operated manually with the included remote control.
Manual Remote
When the green LED lights up the unit is ready for operation. Press the red but­ton to manually fog.
Timer Controller
The timer controller can be used to control the OMNI HZR remotely. Please note Haze output (h) must be set to 0 for the remote timer controller to operate.
DMX -512 Control Connections
This  xture complies with international USITT DMX standards and can be used with a 3 pin DMX connector. Plug in the provided 3 pin XLR cable to the female 3 pin XLR output of your controller and the other side to the male 3 pin XLR input or the OMNI HZR. To connect the units to DMX, you must daisy chain the  xtures together as a referred in the diagram below. Always end your DMX-512 connection with a DMX terminator.

Maintenance and Cleaning
The following points have to be considered during the inspection:
1. All screws for installing the device, or parts of the device must be tightly
connected, and must not be corroded.
2. There must not be any deformations on the housing, colour lenses,  xations or
installation spots (ceiling, suspension, trussing).
3. Mechanically moved parts must not show any traces of wearing and must not
rotate with unbalances.
4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage, material fatigue
or sediments.
CAUTION! Disconnect  xture before servicing.
In order to keep the  xture in good condition and extend the life, we suggest regular cleaning to the  xture.
1. Clean the inside and outside lens each week to avoid the light output from
darkening due to accumulation of dust, dirt, etc.
2. Clean the fan each week.
advised. Ensure the circuit contacts are in good condition, and prevent from overheating.
We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a moist, lint-free cloth. Never use alcohol solvents.
There are no serviceable parts inside the device. Please refer to the instructions under “Installation Instructions.”
Should you need any spare parts, please order genuine MICROH parts from your local dealer.
