Driver install for Windows 98
Although Windows 2000 and Windows XP automatically support USB 2.0, Windows 98/ME does not. To use iR ock
mini on Windows 98/ME computer, you must first install the storage device driver.
1. Insert the installation CD into the CD ROM
2. Move the mouse on the iRock mini W98.exe and double cl ick for installation
3. After installation, co nnect the USB cable to the device
How to connect the device to your PC
On Windows ME/2000/XP, the device is recognized as [iRock mini_local disk] when it is connected to your PC.
For Windows 98, please install the driver for Windows 98
How to recharge the battery (through DC Adaptor)
The battery indicator will red flash during recharging and be turned off on completion of recharging. Please
execute [Safely Remove Hardware] to use the device during recharging.
• Downloading music and ot her files onto the device
1. Copying files (Downloading files onto the device)
2. Execute Windows Explorer after securely connecting the device to your PC
3. Make sure [iRock mini] is displayed on My Computer window
4. Select and copy the file wanted
5. Paste the copied file into the [iRock mini]
• To generate folders
The player has the basic folders. Folder names may be changed or new folders may be added as desire d by the
user.
