1. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important!
DO NOT LOSE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!
When using electrical equipment, some safety precautions must be observed to avoid injuries. Please read the complete operating manual with due care and attention. Retain this manual in a safe place, so that the information is available at all times. If you give the equipment to any other person, pass on this operating manual as well. We accept no liability for damage or accidents which arise due to non­observance of these instructions and the safety information.
2. SAFETY INFORMATION
2.1. General safety instructions for electric tools
Caution!
Observe all safety warnings and instructions.
Not following the safety warning signs and instructions may result in an electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Keep all safety warnings and instructions in a safe place. The term “Impact Wrench” used in these safety instructions refers to the electric tool operated from the mains power supply (with a power cable).
2.1.1. Workplace safety
a) Keep your work area clean and well illuminated. b) Do not operate the Impact Wrench in an environment where
there is a risk of explosions and where there are flammable liquids, gases or dust.
c) Keep the Impact Wrench out of the reach of children and other
persons.

2.1.2. Electrical safety
a) The plug from this Impact Wrench must fit into the socket. The
plug should never be altered in any way.
b) Avoid bodily contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes,
heating, ovens and fridges.
c) Ensure the tool does not come into contact with water or
moisture.
d) Do not use the cable to carry the Impact Wrench, to hang it up
or to pull the plug out of the socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts of the appliance.
e) If you are working outdoors with the Impact Wrench, only use
extension cables that are designed specifically for this purpose.
f) It is recommended to use a Residual Current Device (RCD).
2.1.3. Personal safety
a) Stay alert and concentrate on what you are doing and use the
Impact Wrench sensibly. Do not use the Impact Wrench if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
b) Wear personal protection equipment and always wear safety
goggles.
c) Make sure that the Impact Wrench cannot start up accidentally.
Ensure that the Impact Wrench is switched off before you connect it to the power supply or pick up or carry the tool.
d) Avoid abnormal working postures. Make sure you stand squarely
and keep your balance at all times.
e) Wear suitable work clothes. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep hair, clothes and gloves away from moving parts.
2.1.4. Usage and treatment of the Impact Wrench
a) Do not overload the appliance. Use the correct tool for your
work. b) Do not use the Impact Wrench if it has a defective switch. c) Remove the plug from the socket before making any
adjustments to the Impact Wrench.

d) Keep electric tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow
people who are not familiar with the Impact Wrench or who
have not read these instructions to use the appliance. e) Clean your Impact Wrench carefully. Check all moving parts are
functioning properly. f) Make sure to use the Impact Wrench, accessories and
attachments in accordance with these instructions.
2.1.5. Service
a) Have your Impact Wrench repaired only by trained personnel
using only genuine spare parts.
2.1.6. Safety information
a) This electric tool is designed for use as an Impact Wrench. Obey
all the safety instructions, general instructions, illustrations and
data supplied with the tool. b) Do not use any accessories which have not been designed and
recommended by the manufacturer. c) Wear personal protection equipment and always wear safety
goggles. d) Ensure that others keep a safe distance away from where you
are working. e) Hold the tool only by the insulated handles when carrying out
work. f) Keep the power cable clear of moving parts. g) Never put the electric tool down until the moving parts have
come to a stop. h) Never leave the Impact Wrench running whilst you are carrying
it. i) Clean the ventilation slots on your Impact Wrench at regular
intervals. j) Never use the Impact Wrench in the vicinity of flammable
materials.
