Cabinet for Galaxy 5000 of 20 kVA to 160
kVA (with battery backup time < or = to 10
mn), and of 20 kVA to 100 kVA (with battery
backup time > 10 mn):
◗ connection to the inverter on 25 x 5 mm
copper terminals with 8.2 mm diameter
holes,
◗ connection to the battery on 25 x 5 mm
copper terminals with 8.2 mm diameter
holes,
◗ earth connection on 8 mm diameter
threaded rod, or on 50 x 5 mm copper
terminal.
Cabinet for Galaxy 5000 of 100 kVA to 120
kVA (with battery backup time > 10 mn):
◗ connection to the inverter on 32 x 8 mm
copper terminals with 12.2 mm diameter
holes,
◗ connection to the battery on 32 x 10 mm
copper terminals with 12.2 mm diameter
holes,
◗ earth connection on 8 mm diameter
threaded rod, or on 50 x 5 mm copper
terminal.
Connection for a type 1 cabinet without insulation monitor (see electrical characteristics table)
◗ the cross-section of the power cables is
given in the tables in the section entitled
"characteristics of cabinet",
◗ recommended cross-section of auxiliary
conductors: 1 mm2 (terminal acceptance
capacity: 2.5 mm2),
◗ make sure that the auxiliary conductors and
power cables do not follow the same path,
◗ power cables and auxiliary conductors are
not supplied.
Important: leave the QF1 circuit-breaker in
"off" position until the Galaxy 5000 unit has
been commissioned.
