HANDSET CONTROLLER SET-UP
1. Attach the ribbon onto the antenna to locate the head wind direction (see Fig.11).
2. Screw the Telescopic Antenna into the opening at the top of the Handset. Extend the antenna to full length
before use and fully retract it after use.
-The Turbo button is located on the Handset at the top left corner. It serves to control the vehicle speed and as a
start-up button for the aircraft propellers.
-The lower center LEVER button, "LAND---AIR" is for launching the aircraft.
-Remember to switch off the Controller (TX) after use. Failure to do so will result in battery drainage.

CONTROLLING THE VEHICLE
LEFT CONTROL LEVER (Throttle)
- Push Forward: Vehicle runs straight ahead.
- Pull Backward: Vehicle runs backward.
RIGHT CONTROL LEVER (Steering)
- Push Right: Vehicle turns to the right.
- Push Left: Vehicle turns to the left.
TURBO BUTTON (Speed Boost)
- Provides extra speed boost to the vehicle running forward or backward.
- Provides forward speed boost for at least 2 to 3 seconds to bring the vehicle to top speed for the aircraft launch.
STEP 4: USING YOUR LAND AIR R/C™
Once you have fully charged and installed your Land vehicle's battery, and charged your aircraft for
flight, you are now ready to control your Land-Air R/C™ to go anywhere---on land or in the air!
1. Before playing with your Land-Air R/C™, locate an area approximately the size of a football field, with a runway
space of at least 120 ft in length, away from people, cars, or obstructions of any kind.
2. Install the plane onto the vehicle by pushing down the lever on the left side of the vehicle to release the clamp.
3. Place the aircraft onto the cradle on top of the vehicle.
4. Position the aircraft in the cradle until the tail of aircraft touches the location pin at the rear of the vehicle
(see Fig.13).
5. Pull the side lever up to secure the aircraft onto the vehicle. Check and ensure the aircraft is locked properly
(see Fig.14).
6. The Fine Tune Knob is located under the vehicle between the front wheels; adjust it to ensure the vehicle runs in
a straight line without steering (see Fig.15).
7. Remember to discharge the aircraft completely and charge the aircraft before every launch. To charge the
aircraft, please see Charging the Aircraft section.
8. Slide the operation switch to "LAND" on the controller
9. Switch "ON" the vehicle, the aircraft and the remote handset.
10. Control you vehicle to go forward, back, left or right with the full function remote handset.
11. Press the Turbo boost button to give your vehicle an extra boost of speed while in moving forward or backward.
12. Before launching the aircraft, control the vehicle to move in a straight path directly into the HEAD WIND (the
direction the wind is coming from). The ideal wind speed for flying is less than 5 mph.
13. Before releasing the aircraft of the vehicle, hold the Turbo button on the controller for at least 2 to 3 seconds
to speed up the vehicle (see Fig.16).
14. Move the switch on the controller from "LAND" to "AIR" mode. The propellers will spin at the maximum speed
and the aircraft will release from the vehicle within 2 seconds.
NOTE: Try not to steer the aircraft for 3 seconds after it has been released from the vehicle. This will give
enough time for the aircraft to adjust itself to the wind condition.
15. Control the aircraft to fly wherever you want via the handset remote control. The vehicle, on the other hand, is
programmed to shut down until the controller is switched back to "LAND" mode.
16. After each flight, allow the propellers to spin until the internal battery is completely used up and to avoid
overcharging during your next charge. This will help the internal battery in the aircraft last longer and perform
at its peak on your next charge and following flight.
17. Remember to switch off the vehicle, aircraft and handset after playing.
CONTROLLING THE AIRCRAFT
LEFT CONTROL LEVER (Throttle)
- Push Forward: Propellers spin at maximum RPM - to increase speed or to ascend.
- Pull Backward: Propellers spin at minimum RPM - slow down or to descend.
RIGHT CONTROL LEVER (Steering)
- Push Right: Aircraft steers to the Right.
- Push Left: Aircraft steers to the Left.
TURBO BUTTON (Start control & Propellers On)
- Starts the aircraft propellers for hand launching.
- Regains control of the aircraft if handset is accidently switched off by restablishing communication between
aircraft and handset.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
The propeller speeds are programmed to maintain flight stability while steering. Push
only one joystick at a time. The aircraft will NOT respond if two joysticks are being
pushed simultaneously.
